Jackie answered our call, John did estimate. Crew did work. They were Great! John said he would be out Monday afternoon. He arrived about 5:00 that day and he and my husband surveyed the property. He correctly noted that the trees in question had never been pruned and were badly in need. My husband was impressed by the comments that he made... He could correctly identify certain events simply by looking at the trees. He also gave a good education as to why certain limbs looked the way they did, broke the way they had, etc. He clearly really knows his stuff! He made a note of which trees to work on and what was (and was not) to be done to them, and then quoted a price - commenting that it was relatively high because of the extensive work that needed to be done, and we felt that it was fair. (He also noted that, if we stuck to an "every 3 years" schedule as recommended, it should be around $300-350 a year in the future.) He said he'd have a crew out the next day, and they arrived just before 9:00 am. The crew leader came to the door and verified with me which trees were to be worked on, and then they got to it. The equipment was pulled out and the ladders went up. Workers dragged large limbs to the curb where their big wood chipper (pulled by their truck, and left curbside and well-marked for traffic with cones) devoured the branches quickly. It took them (maybe) 90 minutes or so to complete the entire job at which point the crew leader returned to the door with an invoice. I paid with a check, he marked the invoice, and off they went - leaving nearly no indication of the huge job they'd done. We pulled a few small, wayward branches out of the bushes, but otherwise they did a really remarkable clean up job. And the trees? They look amazing! Beautifully shaped, nicely pruned and thinned out. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat and have already passed their contact info to neighbors.

Our first call to the office from the thanking crew after work was done. Was Great! All I have to say is that I was massively impressed. We just moved to Marco and we were under a lot of stress with the move and everything that needed to be done with the house. John came in so much lower than the other estimate that I was afraid. They also cleaned our gutters for free after cutting down all the coconuts (since they'd be up on the roof anyway).

The price wasn't cheap because we needed a lot done, but it was so much lower than the first estimate. My gut was telling me to trust them as opposed to the other quote that felt like they were trying to rip me off. My wife and I signed the contract on the spot and they came 2 weeks later as promised (just after Xmas).

They were friendly and knowledgeable. They were clean and efficient.

I was even surprised to get a hand written thank you note. I hope to know John Gursoy, Jackie at office and his crew for a long time. I have personally referred them to 2 other people.

The office staff was very good at scheduling. It took a while to get the initial estimate because it was the busy season here in Florida for tree trimming. The staff was great at communication. You deal with the owner (John) who has a very good reputation in Naples among other landscape businesses. John explained what would be done and quoted a price. Since I have had this service done before I knew his price was competitive. The workers arrived on time and the work took several hours as we had discussed. The team brought out their own chipper and reduced the substantial trimmings quickly. Unlike previous trimmers, John's team did not "scalp" the tree. Instead they left an attractive amount of leaves. So the tree looked quite normal, just much smaller in size. This is much more difficult to do and takes longer so many trimmers simply scalp the tree and leave it at that. His workers also scurried up my 60 plus foot palm to quickly trim the seed pods and dead branches. Communication was excellent at all times. The cleanup left little trace they were ever here. There are a lot of trimmers in this area. I have had communication problems in the past with these other providers. Some may work for a few dollars less but there are MANY potential problems (licensing, equipment, no chipper, poor cleanup, etc.). Naples has very strict business licensing laws and their enforcement people are constantly driving around. Bobcat Tractor is fully licensed and insured. Others may not be and that poses significant risks to the homeowner. I highly recommend Bobcat Tractor
