The selection is quite nice, staff are okay. The cashiers are awesome. Cant say anything about services as i have not tried that yet
Sam and Matt were super helpful. I bought a couple fish & one of them died by the next morning. I had thrown out the fish and forgotten that I need to take it in for a refund to get a replacement fish.
I called Sam and she said that she would take my word for it that the fish died so I came in and they replaced the fish. It was easy thank you so much you guys!

I’ve now had two unpleasant experiences with Yoshiko, and I feel it's important to share. From the beginning, she has been visibly unfriendly toward my dog — giving him irritated looks and acting cold. Sadly, I booked a second appointment with her only because she was the only groomer available at the time. Now I understand why.
At our most recent visit, she refused to groom my dog because he had some matting. Instead of offering any solutions or guidance, she simply turned us away. I was left with no choice but to cut my dog’s hair myself at home — without any experience or training — which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by going to a professional groomer in the first place.
It’s incredibly frustrating to be treated like this, especially when all I wanted was kind, professional care for my pet. No pet owner should be made to feel unwelcome or judged, and no animal deserves to be treated with such obvious impatience.
I truly hope the business takes this feedback seriously. Grooming should be a safe and supportive experience for both pets and their owners — unfortunately, this was anything but.

We are new to the Vancouver area… we were used to the grooming services at the Port Coquitlam and they were nice… but WOW, this location went beyond expectations! Our dog came home soft, smelling amazing, and very happy! Our groomer was obviously very passionate about dogs and it made me feel calmer about leaving my dog with social anxiety. They did an excellent job!
Between errands around British Columbia, Petsmart has become my official pitstop to restock supplies for my feathered wild friends — yes, corvids with more attitude than most humans I’ve met.
The customer service? Excellent. Staff are friendly, helpful, and seem to have been trained by a Zen master in dealing with people who urgently need cat food and peanuts… for birds who demand nothing less than royalty-level respect.
The product variety is top-notch. The store’s well-organized, which spares you from the classic “pet store chaos.” Need a toy for a spoiled cat? Check. Gourmet kibble for a dog with commitment issues? Got it. A spa-sized tank for a single betta fish? Of course.
And best of all: they sell live snakes.
Yes, snakes. Just chilling in their enclosures like it’s the most normal Tuesday ever. And honestly? I deeply respect that energy.
Petsmart isn’t just a store — it’s a tribute to fauna, efficient logistics, and the slow-burning rise of my animal-fueled empire.
