I would like to thank Mark Tavernese and his hard working staff Elia and Anna for the handling of my slip and fall case causing a severe concussion.
I had talked to a few other law firms and I was disappointed in what they felt I would be compensated for my injuries.
I then called Mark Tavernese at Barapp law and after a long discussion over the phone I was confident that they were the firm for me. They sent a person all the way to Okotoks to go through all the paperwork and explain to me the process of the law suit.
It took what seemed to be forever to get an offer from the other insurance company. They waited until the final days leading up to a court date and gave me a take it or leave it final offer. After Mark and I discussed it at length we decided to go back at 25 percent higher. Yes it was a risk but Mark did his job and we got it. The final result was 20 times what the insurance company offered me before I got involved with Mark and Barapp law.

I was T-boned 5.5 years ago in 2016. Barapp Law came to my rescue! Michael Brill was my lawyer and Irina Tkatcheva is his Senior Law Clerk and they are a very professional team and wonderful people to deal with. It's been a long hard journey with my concussion and trying to get along with my life has been rough.

We pay insurance thinking that we are protecting ourselves in the future in case something happens. It did and the insurance company wasn't there to help except send me to Canadian Back Institute for therapy. Well that only worked for part of my symptoms. I still had my concussion to deal with, and still do. I got myself into an in-depth Traumatic Brain Injury program in London, Ontario at Parkwood Institute. They really helped more than the Insurance company's programs.

Michael and Irina got me into a multitude of clinics and doctors backing up my neurologists, OTs, PTs and doctors. It was like when I was back in the military getting checked for everything from an army of caregivers.

Knowing that Michael and Irina were working for me in the background gave me confidence to keep going. I even had some tearful conversations with Irina. She listened to me, talked to me and got me to stick with it, even when it affected my marriage. This is a lady that has a million things to do in her day and evening and works long hours. They kept me up to date on what was going on with the Insurance company all along the way.

Michael is a brilliant lawyer and doesn't give up until everything he can do is done and then he gives more. He's like an Ever-Ready battery lawyer! Seriously!
