Bhm financial is currently under investigation by the consumer affairs departments of several provinces. Bhm financial is not licensed to conduct business in Manitoba despite several requests to get a business license by consumer affairs department Manitoba. They are under investigation for excessive service fees, charges and loan buyout fees. I took out a $2,000 title loan on my truck which I paid back in full as per the consumer affairs department Manitoba. Now, bhm financial wants another $6,000 before they'll remove the lien from my truck. Buyer beware.

I took a loan with BHM Financial Group three years ago in the amount of $10000.00. At the time I had bad credit and BHM was extremely helpful! The process was fast and easy, the loan officer was very patient and nice. When COVID-19 rolled around I had two NSFs and BHM was ultra nice to waive the NSF fees for me. Don't ever go with them. I noticed all of the good ratings were related to being given a loan but that's it. Of course, they would want to provide you with a loan or else how would they be able to charge you outrageous fees and closing-out fees afterwards?

I had a mortgage with them and normally when the property is sold, the mortgage should be paid off given that they would have sent the accurate payoff statement for the closing. Lo and behold, a day after the closing when one should be satisfied that everything has been paid off, I received a phone call from Molly Wider, saying that I still missed XXX amount because she said I didn't pay the last payment. Then, she came out with another payoff statement of this last statement.

Why doesn't she arbitrarily say that I owe her $10,000?

I was in a very tight spot and I was not able to get the money I needed for a legal matter any other way, so I had to borrow from BHM Finacial Group. The good thing is they are very quick and willing to work as fast as possible to get the money to you. However, understand that they are one of the most expensive lenders that are out there. They have very weird fee structure and you need an accountant to fully figure out their interest payment structure. I am glad they were available and willing to lend me the money - however, I hope no one ever has to use their services.

go a loan for $9,000.00 to hold me over for 1.5 months while i get my new job and money to pay back the 24 month loan, was able to pay it back in 1.5 months less than 6 week the loan cost me a pay out of $12,000.00 dollars a $3000.00 dollar cost to hole me over for till i got my feet on the ground 54% interest rate. I would never use this or recommend this company to anyone.

I took a Car Title Loan with them on the Contingency that it be funded to me through direct deposit by the end of the day. I was later informed that it was only processed by their financial department the next morning. Now its past the time when the 24/48 hour assured time that i'd have the funds and there is nothing deposited in my bank account. They've also already placed a lien on my vehicle to ensure that I don't go somewhere reputable. What an unethical crooked company!

Worst company, even thou they have given me a loan. Unbelieveable, outrageous hidden costs to close out loan., finished with loan payments. Now they want 1300 extra in total costs. Do not have great customer service and no honoring of previous emails sent.
Before anyone signs papers with this company, get all the facts and extra costs.

So, I was charged a "closing fee" that was added to my account 6 no the before the term was up without my knowledge. It was for more than my regular automatic payment by 9 dollars. Over the course of the next six months it went from being 9 dollars in arrears (even though I knew nothing of this) to being over 500 in arrears at what I thought should be the end of my term. The biggest kick in the teeth (besides the criminal interest rate which I agreed to) was that it was reported to the credit beareas as 6 late payments. I had no idea anything was wrong with this loan until after the term was at the end and it should of been paid off. As soon as I found out, after contacting them about the final payment I paid it immediately. 6 months!! No phone call, no email. Seriously. I have contacted them numerous times and was assured that Esther had cleared this up. Ya right. I have finally after a year cleared it up with transition but still working on Equifax. Never never never again.

I had no issues with my loan application. Really like their online application form, makes everything so much easier. I took a loan and use my mobile home to secure my loan with. The whole process from applying for the loan to having funds was less than a week. It gave me a peace of mind and took all my worries away. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had been swamped with bills that simply could not afford. My bank refused to refinance my mobile home. I had nowhere else to go.
