I had a locker with them for many years, and i can easily say that their employees are very professional, efficient, fast, reliable, kind and caring. I was waiting on the second waste management truck (to empty my locker in part) during a heat wave and they offered my husband and I a chair to sit on. Would recommend this company!

The customer service at Public Storage is amazing! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The storage unit was clean and exactly what I was looking for. I would strongly recommend Public Storage for any storage needs!

The place is clean and safe. However, I faced two issues: 1) When we went there to store the stuff, we had to wait two hours for the office to open because the manager was on their way from Montreal. This means we ended up paying extra to our movers 2) At the time of checking out (we had rented for 1.5 years), we went to the place but could not enter the premises because the code that was written for us did not work. It turned out they had flipped the code. This meant a waste of our time again because we were there off hours and office was closed. No compensation was provided in either of the two events.

I've been with public storage since 2020, the staff has been nothing short of amazing throughout the years. My belongings felt safe & secure at all times, very pleased with the overall experience and I'm happy to say I've made multiple friends from this. Im moving so today was my last day Feb 06 2025... It's crazy to think I'll miss a storage facility but here we are, I definitely recommend!

As a Handyman service company, I needed a place to store my equipment as my company grew. Pam and Sultana were very helpful and showed me the different units that could fit my stuff. I even got a promotional deal!

Great place to rent a storage unit from! I’ve been renting here for over four years and the staff and management have treated me so well! Very friendly and super awesome & easy to work with! They always try to accommodate what I want/need, I’d 100% recommend public storage, but I can only speak for the St. Joseph Orleans location! Keep up the good work!
Update: I still agree with everything I said above except that I’ve now moved and no longer rent with them because I don’t need storage space anymore!

Their administration process leaves a lot to be desired

1. They will not provide you a copy of the Rental Agreement ‘till you pay. So when I insisted they let me read a copy of another customer agreement with his/her information.
2. They will not provide you with a list of what you’ll be paying for ‘till you’ve paid. In my case the total added up correctly but once paid the receipt showed a “Balance due of $135.03” in which I had to come back in order to get it fixed.
3. And last; It was understood and agreed on the phone and then in person, both times with Ryan, that I would come and do the admin work but take possession of the unit the next day so that my helpers would not have to stand around while doing the paper work. Ryan agreed, and even at the time of payment it was reiterate and he’d said that he would have to keep their lock ‘till I come back the following day. But even that wasn’t followed through and the agreement/payment date and possession date were the same. When I came back to fix the “due balance” I told Pamela, the storage facility manager, about the possession date error. She understood at the time, but as I stood there for 30 minutes she couldn’t figure out how to fix it and said she would have to ask a higher manager to fix it and would get back to me.

So far the cost/balance has been fixed but no word on the date. I sent them an email and after eight days still no response. I’m very dissatisfied with the process I’ve had to go through. This type of administration process leaves much to be desired. I am strongly convinced that I should be reimbursed for the administrative fee they've imposed, considering the inconvenience it has caused me.

Excellent check-in service and easy to set up my account. Friendly staff. The unit and premises were always tidy, and my items were secure indoors.

Public Storage has reasonable prices in comparison to other storage companies within the city. The staff are very pleasant, the property well maintained and a very easy process to set up unit rentals. I would recommend!

Had a great experience in 2023 renting a storage unit to move my daughter's belongings from her campus residence at the end of the school year, every thing went smoothly and as we approached the end of another school year this week, I couldn't think if anywhere else for storage but the Public Storage. Thanks for your great customer service. The online reservation was an extremely smooth process. 👌
