Packrat movers

Very unprofessional. They showed up 40 minutes late reeking of pot, which subsequently got them fired and me having to scramble to find another mover at the last minute. And this was at 10:30 in the morning!

I hired Packrat Movers because the owner told me he could pack my antique model sailboat and antique pictures as well as load a truck for a move to California. He told me that he would have 3 people there and that the maximum time would be 5 hours and the cost $700. On the. morning of the move, two young boys showed up and said that their boss had hurt his foot and wouldn't be coming. They came in and walked around and I showed them what was going. Then I asked about who was the one who could pack the antiques. Neither of them knew how. They were very nice, strong boys but with no knowledge of how to pack the truck or how to pack antiques. I had to step in as well as my son, and try and show them how. After a few hours, another boy showed up but he didn't know how to pack a truck either. All the boys were willing and cooperative and strong, but there was no one from Packrat Movers to tell them what goes where to place items so as to get as much as possible on the truck. I think that the owner should have shown up to direct them even with an injured foot. My neighbor who lives next door asked me if I would recommend them for his move later this year when their house is finished. I said, absolutely NO. The cost at the end of 6 hours was $825 and my son did a lot of the loading.

Matt and Adian were the fastest, friendly nicest people ever! I’ve moved many times and have lots of moving horror stories, these guys are fantastic! I’ll call again! Highly recommended!

Caused over $1000 in damaged in items. Said they'd cover all damage caused but gave me the run around for months.

This was my 3rd move with them and what was I thinking?. They damaged multiple items during a simple move across town. Cost me just under $1000 for the move, and the best part was discovering my 50" flatscreen tv broken. They even took the time to re-wrap it in a moving blanket and hide it behind some boxes. Because I didnt discover it until 3 weeks later they said too bad because you signed off already. Great business practices. I definitely didn't save any "chedda".

I was concerned about my office move to a new place in Kelowna. Then I contacted with PRM. Then they took all responsibilities and moved the supplies without any hassle to me. I'm really happy with their service and recommend it to others.
