Positive Feedback
I’ve been working with Benecaid for about a year-and-a-half now. I’m the benefits manager of my company, which does shipping logistics. In terms of advantages and disadvantages I don’t have enough info to go on. I’m not familiar with different competitors. My employees and clients haven’t had any negative complaints. So far I’m only getting positive feedback.

No Complaints
My clients are mainly lawyers and bankers. Here at Wealthmore we like how easily we’re able to make a claim and assist our clients. We appreciate the excellent customer service, which is hard to find. All of our clients are appreciative, and have no complaints.

User-Friendly Experience
I started working with Benecaid 10 to 12 years ago, maybe more. I work with them as a broker and my clients come from across the board. I like the user-friendly experience of the website; claims are easy to make and customer service is excellent. My customers have had no complaints. Again, they like the ease of the program. They’re all on health spending accounts and they love that.

Fast Service

Small Business Focus
I’ve been working with Benecaid for three years now. My customer base is all across the map. I deal with landscaping clients, contractors, and engineering. I also handle marketing guys and software developers. They're very pleased overall and find the services good. They like the tax benefits of the health spending accounts. On a personal front, the service is excellent. I also like the fact that Benecaid is focused on small businesses more so than the traditional carriers.

Happy Customers
I started working with Benecaid recently but I first contacted them five years ago. My customer base is mainly health care. We’re still settling in but so far my customers are happy. I chose Benecaid because there seems to be more flexibility in plan designs.

Easy & Simple
I deal with manufacturing and trucking companies. They appreciate the billing reports. I value the low stop loss rates and low administration charges.

We were introduced through a client four or five years ago and so far it’s been good service. No one has any issue when they submit expenses. It’s very easy and simple. I like the online submission. We have a new account manager and they seem to be doing fine.

Flexibility is number one

Never heard anything negative
Benecaid has been in place for the three years since I arrived at the ranch and it’s all been positive. They’re very reactive, accommodating, and supportive and any questions are answered. I’ve never heard anything negative from any of our staff in terms of process. This is a very good relationship with a very good supplier.

Very quick with answers
We were introduced to Benecaid about five years ago through our advisor. Whenever I need answers they are very quick. We had a shareholder in Florida that had trouble paying bills, for instance, and they figured it out right away. No real negatives although I noticed they changed the cards from paper to plastic. Sometimes they aren’t always recognized, which means deferred payments.

More support now
I found Benecaid online after researching provider options. Good customer service and very easy to reach our rep. Very helpful in providing references and a good, solid case study. The procedure for filing can be a bit onerous but they’ve streamlined some of that and are offering more support now. I like the automation on monthly withdrawals and the remittance process. One thing that would be good is a newsletter or some kind of guidance on laws and updates coming through in Canada.

Better and better over the years
We've dealt with other service providers and we like Benecaid best because of the ability to control our own payments and spending cap. I have nothing negative to say. I like being able to go online and see the claims and what’s been submitted.

Our rep always gets back to us quickly when we have a question. We’ve been working with them since 2011 and it's gotten better and better over the years.

Response from clients is fantastic
Benecaid has been a great TPA. I’ve partnered with them basically since their inception in the mid- to late-90s and they’ve always worked hard to support me as a broker. Complements my existing business
I find Benecaid complements my existing business—I don’t necessarily go looking for it but current clients may need it. It’s a group service and there’ve been no complaints up to now. I’ve found everything fine. If clients leave then we know they’re not happy, but that’s not happening.

I’ve been a broker for Benecaid, primarily dealing with independent contractors. I’ve got no dislikes so far – Benecaid’s services are very easy to use and they have good marketing materials and support. Plus, the clients love it—they tell me Benecaid’s plans are logical and tax efficient.

Use Funds at Your Discretion
Siding Adiv Ltd. has been in the construction business for 40 years. Our small insurance advisor recommended the HSA (Health Savings Account) with Benecaid. I like how the product allows me to use the funds available at my discretion. Some of my employees and I use the HSA to save money to cover health and dental expenses when they come up.

Excellent cost containment
We have been working with Benecaid for more than a decade, primarily targeting larger clients. If I had to pick, Benecaid’s biggest advantage is how well they work on cost containment. They’re very proactive and always looking to reduce future claims. The clients themselves are also very happy—in particular, they appreciate the projections and customer service they’re getting from Benecaid. I can’t think of any disadvantages with this company.

keep improving
The firm has been with Benecaid for seven years and I’ve been on the file for two with Thomas as our broker. The flexibility of Benecaid for small business is their most attractive feature. The admin cost can be high, however, and the owner of a small business bears some risks compared to a large company. Just keep improving and talking to us.
