Ashley Maids

We called them to clean our apartment. Upon inspection of the "completed work" we found they did not wash any windows, wipe the window sills, clean the toilet, wipe down ALL appliances.

When we phoned to inform them, the owner Jessica would only respond via text and began to threaten us via text message about being fraudulent and even threated to tell the Rentalsman about our behaviour. This was after we sent all pictures of the incomplete work.

Terrible on all accounts. Would not recommend to anyone.

I recently moved for a job and used there move out service, I had planned to do it myself but of course ran out of time, I called a big name competitor but because I had left it to the last minute the wouldn't have anyone for 3-4 days. So I was happy when I called Ashley Maids and the said the could be there bright and early the next morning. They were great, and even managed to get a stain out form my carpet that was there when I 1st moved in. Good service and reasonably priced..

Although Jessica efficiently scheduled and communicated a move in clean, the clean itself was sub par and sloppy. We could clearly see/feel areas that were missed, including patches of dirt/dust on the hardwood and "grit" on tiles. Window ledges ignored, blinds missed, and streaks left on mirrors. Even the most obvious areas like the fireplace mantels left much to be desired as you saw the " path" of the cloth, leaving a lot of residual dust. The most disappointing part was the response received from the CEO when I did provide feedback. I sent pictures of our poor results, but was not offered any remediation. Although we were not even moved into our new city and house at the time of the clean, one of the neighbors commented that " 3or 4 people showed up in the afternoon but each seemed to spend as much time outside smoking as inside the house". As this company was recommended by our realtor, I believe we were perhaps, just unlucky. Maybe being present during the clean would have made a difference? Overall, disheartening and disappointing.

If I could give zero stars I would. We hired this service to do a move out clean and the job was nowhere close to being completed. They sent 3 girls, who spent four hours at the house (so 12 hours worth of manpower essentially) and the job wasn't completed before they left. Their website outlines several things that are to be done in a move out clean, and many of them were not even touched. The walls, light fixtures, inside edge of window tracks, and any surface above eye level was left completely untouched. When I called the company to raise my concerns and request either a partial refund or to have someone sent back to complete the job I was screamed at, and promptly hung up on. So our experience with this company was paying nearly $600 to be screamed at, hung up on, and to spend several hours cleaning the home ourselves. Absolutely do NOT recommend.

I couldn't be more dissappointed with Ashley Maids. Not only did they leave the floors a complete disaster (and left water from the mop all over the laminate flooring) but they didn't even move things to dust. We had asked for a spring cleaning and were shocked to see the results. After being yelled at by their head office for my complaint 2 of the 3 cleaners came back and I had to ask them to redo the floors and dusting, they finally completed the cleaning to our standards and then charged me an extra 3% for using a credit card to pay (the head office told me I had to use a cc but failed to tell me of the extra charge) the cleaner had already put my payment through at the higher rate even though I had specifically asked if it would be the same price. I will never use this service again!!!

I couldn't be happier. I use to have a different cleaning company in my home and it took them 4 hours. Ashley Maids did it in 3 and charged $10 an hour less. I save $75 a week plus I am so happy with the service. Definitely worth a try.
