Moved from Burnaby to Longueuil, in Quebec in April of 2023. Had an amazing experience. This company knows what customer service is all about. They were in constant communication with me and gave me updates every step of the way. We were assigned to work with Sara who was amazing – you can request for her. Never an email or a call missed. Smooth experience. First we started by telling them what we had, then we had to approve a quote. Gave a deposit of $500. They called before the pick up, and they even called when on the way. A crew of 3 men arrived, loaded everything, packed everything and I even took a picture as I was very happy with how quick they worked. They were done within 4/5-5 hours.
Once we arrived, we called to schedule delivery of the stuff and they were able to deliver on the weekend too. Sara followed up and issued an invoice, it was paid and we had our delivery within a few days. I would definitely move with them again.

We recently moved from Kelowna in British Columbia to Richmond Hill in ontario with Canadian Moving Systems. It was a full pack, storage for 3 weeks and delivery was completed on March 1, 2023. We were not present at the pick up so left the keys for the movers and had done everything via facetime. The crew was there for 1.5 days and worked hard to get everything packed. They left me on facetime so i was able to see everything being done. Packing was great and we were very pleased with the job. They even sent me pictures, which i am happy to share. Great work. It was a team of 4 men and they were very good. The shipment arrived mid Feb as scheduled and we were able to hold off delivery until March 1. March 1 we accepted delivery to 2 locations. Worked with Sara throughout the entire process and she was great. Very responsive. We booked for a major vanline who offered us a rate of 95 cents per pound plus 37 cents for full pack. CMs were much better priced, and charged me half of this. I was skeptical at first, but was so relieved that what i paid is what i was quoted. Sara and the entire staff were great to deal with. I had forgotten a load of laundry when i left the house, and the crew was even kind enough to get it and pack into the boxes. Many thanks to everyone! Would not hesitate to use them again.

Very good experience with this company. We had a moving service from Winnipeg to Vancouver this past December of 2022. Pick up and delivery crew was very accommodating and very customer service oriented. We have 2 small baby twins and the crew was very understanding and patient while we needed to pack some last minute items. Pricing was very fair as well. We sent in a list of items to be shipped and they came back same day with a quote and price. Had an agreement the next day and the final price was not much more. We did end up buying some packing materials as we ran out of boxes (hard to find good boxes in Winnipeg area) so the crew was kind enough to provide some. We dealt with Sara who was truly amazing and very understanding. Gave us options on when to get our delivery and even suggested ways to save some on the move. What attracted us most was the responsive nature of the staff which did continue during the move as well.

Move from Kenora, ON (northern Ontario) to Hamilton area. My husband is OPP and we had to transfer. Very happy with this company. We usually move with the movers that his work arranges for us, but this time it was a private move. Had a very good experience. Sara is our main person that we reached out to and she is amazing. Always very responsive, never avoids call and truly is a pleasure to work with. I would say that we probably chose this company because of her customer service. If you can ask for her directly.
We had 3 flights of stairs at delivery and that is the only thing that we were surprised with in terms of charges. We know that it was not easy and we had a few heavy items. Other than that, everything was billed as quoted and we were happy to receive everything within 10 days of pick up date. Great recommendation for this company especially Sara!!!

A truly great experience from the staff to the delivery crew. We hired CMS to perform a move from Strathmore in Alberta to Richmond (BC). We had a larger load and used their storage services for about 1.5 months. We were happy to accept delivery of the shipment this past Saturday and we are happy to report a great service. Our load had to be transported using a big semi truck and we were happy to see that instead of having the shipment delivered in two stages. The crew laid blankets at the entrance so they were able to keep our new floors clean. We have 3 children who are under the age of 10 and everyone was happy to be reunited with their furniture. This was not an easy move for us mainly because we struggled to buy a home and had to stay in aribnb/hotels in between. We dealt with Sara who is very pleasant and extremely responsive. She was always reachable by phone or email and had immediate responses. In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend these folks again.

We actually had a move back in the winter, but I just go around in writing this review. We moved once before to Toronto from Alberta and now had to return due to work.
Had a great experience with Sara who was great to deal with. She is amazing and was very responsive. Price was fair and we had also used their storage services. I used them once before and used them again, and we will continue coming back.
We did have the base of our kitchen table misdelivered, but once reported, they were able to find it and deliver it back to us.

Confirmed a moving date for Tuesday on Friday evening; told us to pay deposit Saturday; when we called they denied any openings and refused to take deposit & cancelled because we asked too many questions. The same woman pretended to be Kim and Sara & someone else... kept asking for unreasonable things - increased deposit from $750 to $2000 cash only - no credit card. There is a scam going on here. Cannot even post google reviews. Only reviews on CMS's numerous website to self-promoted

I paid the extra fee to have CMS professionals pack for me. The thinking being that if they packed my property in their boxes and used their pads etc., there would be no damage. Instead, I received my boxes crushed and upside-down. Well, the boxes that I did receive - they lost several items on the way, and damaged most of the rest. But at least they delivered someone else's stuff along with mine.

I am now in the 'claims process' with them, and am told it will be 8 to 10 weeks before they contact me. In the mean time, I have tried on fur occasions to have the extra stuff they delivered to us picked up. If you're an ex York University student missing a black suitcase full of books and personal papers - sorry, but it looks like you'll never get it back although I am trying.

I cannot recommend this company in any capacity.

Moving to Calgary, Alberta. I am missing over four boxes with more than 25 pairs of shoes, clothes, kitchen stuff and a safe with important documents in it. These guys only delivered a partial shipment. Please DO NOT use this moving company. It also takes a month for you to get part of your belongings and they keep or steal your stuff.

Their delivery arrived late and to top that off, they lost my largest and most expensive item, a king size mattress. I explained to them that i have a kid and we can no longer wait for them to sort their fault out so i had to buy a new mattress and that they just pay. They are not a member of Canadian Association of Movers. I reached out to BBB to complain, and as soon as BBB contacted them, they magically find my mattress and insist on delivering it asap. Now I ended up with two mattresses. Never go for this company. The 5 star ratings here are most probably made up to cover the real reviews that they got. Look at google reviews for this company and see how bad they are in this industry.

Don’t be fooled with their “low rates” as there are a lot of hidden charges that they wont explain upfront. Don’t be fooled with delivery time because they will give you a rough estimate “upon loading your items”, and the loading time will never be disclosed. You won’t have a contract here and your items wont be insured. They know that you have no legal recourse because they wont provide you anything except for the estimate receipt you will receive when they pick up your item. This company also uses subcontractors and basically they are just the “middle-man” who will reach out to different unknown local movers.

If you value your items, please please please, do not look at cost and look for a REAL company that do not use subcontract movers. This is a hard lesson that I learned and I hope you learn from this too. The least I can do now is this, to do an honest review on why you shouldn’t hire these guys.

I know how scary moving can be especially when you see how many bad reviews there are out there but Canadian Moving Systems were by far the best movers I ever used. Amy helped me from start to finish for our move from Sudbury, Ontario to North Vancouver, BC. The movers were so fast and efficient that it made everything much less stressful. I have never had such exceptional service from any moving company that I have worked with. I would refer your company to anyone and will definitely be using your company again for my next move. Amy sent me a form to fill out and gave me a good quote that I liked after I sent it back. We paid the quote, plus 2 boxes (I wanted 2 TVs packed) and taxes. No suprises and no hold ups. Always had a response and email communication was amazing.

Very pleased with the service from this company. My sales rep Megan was very attentive and pleasant. We were relocating from north Battleford, SK to Toronto area and this was a rather big move for us. She spoke to pretty much all of our family members and we felt very comfortable with the process.
The company gave a very accurate quote and we were not surprised with last minute large bill. We did however decide to purchase some packing materials which we were charged for. Those were quoted to us and we accepted the charges.
The shipment arrived in 8 days and they called us and updated us as soon as the shipment arrives so that it could be offloaded to our home without having to offloading at the warehouse. Amir and his team were here all day offloading and worked non stop. We had to remove the entrance door to allow some items to fit in. they took the door off and put it back on without any hesitation.

First experience with a moving company and I was already nervous. We have a fairly large load and were prepared for months being very proactive. The company we originally booked with (shall not be named) didn’t show up the day of the move and didn’t answer our frantic calls and we had to be out the NEXT DAY. Obviously, we couldn’t do it all on our own with a U-Haul and cancellations with flights we would have been out thousands of dollars. We called multiple companies and were basically laughed at. We tried one more company and called Canadian Moving to see if the possibilities of coming that day or the next was possible. LIFE SAVERS is very lightly named for what they did. Very thorough and calmed me and the family right down. They moved things around for us to ensure we were accommodated last minute to help us.

Correspondence with this company was the first thing that attracted me to them. We were moving from Toronto to a rural area in British Columbia (6 hours from highway 1).
They were always quick to reply to my emails and help with all the info I needed.
The movers who picked-up our items were very thorough and packed things very carefully. They worked quickly and were friendly and helpful.
Although it took longer for our things to arrive than we had anticipated (it was about 3 days instead of 1-2 days), when things arrived they were in fine condition and the movers were friendly, careful and fast. No huge surprises on the billing which was my biggest worry.
I would definitely use this company again.

I used CMS to move my elderly parents from Regina, SK to Thornhill, ON. My sales agent Amy answered all of my questions and was really helpful. The truck arrived on time to my parent’s place and the men were very professional. We had a minor scratch on the coffee table, but I was the process. Our wall unit also required some extra handling cause it was huge and had to go via stairs. They handled this mammoth piece like pros.

I moved from Regina, SK to Kingston, ON recently with Canadian System Moving company. I got a lot of quotes from a lot of companies and it was very hard to choose the right one. I spoke with Holly and Amy on the phone and they discussed the move with me and helped to relieve a lot of my stress, this was my first long distance move. The truck arrived a day earlier than I expected but luckily, I was ready to go. The men were fun, friendly and very fast. My stuff arrived when they told me it would and the price was what I expected it to be. I would definitely use them again!!!

This company has addressed all of my concerns and I promised that we would write a good note for them. Our shipment was moving from Halifax to GTA (Thornhill) area and although I did confirm that I wanted delivery as soon as the truck arrives and they did make arrangements – when the truck arrived I had to cancel the delivery due to a cockroach manifestation.
The delivery was cancelled and they took the shipment back to storage. There was a re-delivery charge that had to be applied and I completely understand that. But when I reached out to the manager Eva she was very understanding and sympathetic to the situation and actually offered me some free storage due to the off season. Many thanks to Eva.
Great service and customer service! Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Movers arrived for the loading in Toronto and the building lights/electiricy went out. Poor guys waited for over an hour but the service elevator could not be given to us as the rest of the building had no other way to go up. These two amazing guys were so great about it and shared the elevator with the rest of the tenants. It took them twice as long but they were still so up beat and positive – and even chatted with some of the other tenants. Everyone kept on asking me what the name of the company that I chose was as they were so great to deal with. I had to take a minute and write a positive review as I know it means so much to these companies. Their names were Jason and Khan. Next day delivery in Montreal we also got a great crew. Cant thank these boys enough.

I have to say that I am a very picky person and I wasn’t even going to write a review as I rarely do. But, the situation is that this company really came forward and fixed any concerns that we had. I was really impressed and it made me feel that in this busy world, customer service still exists. Without going on and on, I just want to summarize that at the end our long distance move was a fairly good experience.

This past December I moved from Saskatoon to Montreal, I’ve moved with them twice before for shorter distances and knew I didn’t need to look anywhere else. They moved me across the country with the same awesome service they did with my moves between Alberta to Saskatoon. I don’t bother searching for other companies, the price is right and the service is stellar. Two moves and they moved my sister locally within Ontario. The main sales person I dealt with was Amy who was great. She remembered us when we called back to book our 2nd move which is nice that they remember their customers. Carlos and Ali were great both times (we ended up getting the same crew in SK).

I want to thank Erol and Johnny and his team for moving me and my family. We moved from Niagara Falls to Cambridge. The guys arrived and loaded everything into the truck for us. The kids thought the big truck was really awesome and the men were great with them. When our stuff arrived at our new house they brought everything in for us and made sure we were happy with their services. My moving consultant Holly was very nice and professional. Every time I called with questions he/she was always there to help. Awesome job guys!!

I moved from Winnipeg to Vancouver and had to book my move at the last minute. I called CMS after they sent me a quote. I booked my move right away with them because they could pick up my things when I needed them to. They also insisted I filled out a form that helped me and them see my weight, this was awesome because of this I was able to plan for my move and my budget. My stuff arrived in Vancouver not too long after they said it would. I had a few broken dishes and glasses but overall it was a great move. I’m glad I went with them.

My parents wanted to move closer to their grandkids when they retired, but being protective I insisted on making all the arrangements, after making all kinds of calls I felt like I shot myself in the foot with the disaster that is long distance moving. When I called cMS they broke it down for me as simply as possible, I was so relieved just with the way they explained it I booked on the spot. The crew that came for the pickup at my parents house in Ottawa, Arsan and Omer, couldn’t have been better, they were so patient with my “nervous” mother and never ending questions (that had already been answered) even she was happy! I guess because of how things work we couldn’t get the same guys in Thunder Bay, but Tolga and his crew were also great to work with! If you are looking for an easy, simple move this is the company to choose – that’s my opinion.

We had a good experience with Canadian Moving Systems. CMS moved our stuff from Chilliwack, BC to NB with about 2.5 months of storage. We were pleased with the service and price. They took the shipment on time and once we called to accept the shipment on this end we didnt have to wait too long which was a bonus. A few things did get scratched and damaged I was not suprised - but we have done these moves before and its what is expected. An AC unit went missing - we reported it and it was found and returned which means they are looking (previous mover didnt). I was satisfied.

Moving is moving, and my family has done it many times, it’s never easy no matter how many times you’ve done it. The last 2 companies I chose were an absolute joke!!!!! They broke half our stuff and ignored our calls once they got paid. I chose CMS because of their reviews online and nice staff at the office, I was very happy with my decision in the end. Yes there were some damages, nothing too major, but they actually ANSWERED our calls after they got paid. Worked with them with the claim and got it resolved pretty quickly. I would use CMS again for sure
