BayShore Steel Buildings, Leamington Reviews (2)
We have used Jeff in the past to help with renovations to a house.
We found him to be very conscientious, had a plan in mind and followed through with the plan. He advised us on the renovations and it turned out much better than we could ever have imagined.
His work was superior to others we had tried and he was open to our suggestions wherever possible.
He is a very approachable business man who adheres to government standards and provides the outcome you wish in a timely manner.
We have no problem writing this review.

So much went wrong
My experience buying a steel building from Bayshore was awful.
My husband and I agreed to buy a building a previous customer ordered and no longer wanted and it was already on the customers property.
Jeff arranged to deliver the building to our location since this previous customer was anxious to get it off his property. Not convenient timing for us since we were moving but we agreed to allow them to drop it off.
The building was unloaded and insulation was put inside our barn. We then moved the insulation into a storage container to move to our new property and paid a company to move the steel parts.
I noticed the colours of the building were not as stated in the information emailed to me. Not wanting to delay our build I decided we would work with the colours of the building.
A few weeks later I notice mould and dampness in the storage container.
Once I told Jim and Jeff about the insulation initially they said they would “make it right”.
The following week they claimed it was our responsibility to inspect everything once it was dropped off to our location and they would not be replacing or refunding us. I not only paid for the insulation but also for it to be installed.
They offered to order me some more insulation at my expense and they would cover part of the insulation since they had some on hand from another building but I was not going to take a chance that something else would go wrong.
They said the only way I would be getting any money back was if they received money from the previous owner for the ruined insulation.
We did not sign off on the building once it was delivered nor was there any mention of an as is condition.
We had no concerns since we still had contact with Bayshore to sort out the erecting of the structure and we met with them a few times already and they seemed really nice.
I tried contacting the manufacturer of the building several times and left messages and emails to numerous staff, I was left with no response.
Luckily the company they hired to erect our building did a great job and were easy to communicate with and showed that they care about customer satisfaction.
I hope Jim and Jeff take this review as a lesson in customer service and don’t rip off customers in the future.
I take this as a life lesson to do more research before we choose a supplier for any future projects.
This was not just a steel structure but we used it for our home build and many people have asked us about it. It could’ve been great for Bayshore if we had good things to say.
