Solkor does the highest quality work we have seen in a very professional manner. The thoroughness, attention to detail and timeliness were all extremely impressive and appreciated.

Without exception Ryan and his team at Solkor did an amazing job giving us a very beautiful outdoor living space. This was a huge job and in the end they built an awesome pergola with built-in grill, new composite deck, outstanding firetable and a beautiful stone retaining wall with useable seating. From the design to the finished product, Ryan and his team were professional, courteous and friendly. They came with great ideas for our back yard space and used quality materials. Each day there was an email with a summary of the completed work with pictures and a detailed summary of the running costs of the project. Any mishaps ( just small ones for this big project) were dealt with quickly and repairs done with quality workmanship. I wholeheartedly recommend Solkor for quality landscape renovations. Great job!

Solkor did a large job on a corner lot for us that took a few weeks to complete. It resulted in exactly what we wanted and we will appreciate it for years to come. We had need for a small landscape job and Solker was the only landscape company, which when called was answered by a real live person. They completed the job within a couple of days. They would have received 5 stars if shrub branches had not had stubs left. However, because they completed this small job in a timely manner, we would contact them for a large landscape job.

Honest and dependable are the words that come to mind thinking of Solkor. The firm has done a number of projects for us over the last few years and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

While looking for a landscape company Solkor was the only one who returned calls promptly and showed up when they said they would. Their work was impeccable and professional. I will be using Solkor next summer and have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.

new deck, small patio addition and a VERY large and intricate water feature. Each project has been done beautifully from the beginning design to the finished product. Ryan had to intervene, this year, in an unusual situation with a water leak in our rental property. As out-of-town landlords, we were depending on him and his team to "get the job done". Not only did he and his team do an outstanding job, Ryan has a very generous personality and he completed some small jobs that weren't even part of the leak project. He also understood the financial special needs of seniors and was very helpful in that regard, as well. It's what sets him apart; besides doing an outstanding job, he attends to many things just because he sees it needs to be done and does it. We are huge fans.

We also want to say how pleased we've been, over many years, will help with our "mountain" back yard. He kept it alive and thriving when most people really struggle to do so at "elevation". We will be calling on him for many years to come!

We have been using Ryan and his team for about three years. They look after landscaping, minor repairs and stone work on our place in Canmore. He did a great job on our stone work and more importantly, he honoured our arrangement even thou it exceeded the project cost. Integrity is equally as important as workmanship. I would recommend Ryan and his team anytime.

Ryan and his team worked on the water drainage around the foundation and did an excellent job. Part of the work was to add gravel to the side of the house. Initially they had brought in too much gravel and placed it on the neighbors property (which they could not have know, it's not obvious) but they came back and cleaned up all the tiny gravel to have it just as we wanted.

Ryan and his crew are reliable and hardworking. If you need landscaping or maintenance work done around your home in a timely manner for a fair price don't hesitate to hire Solkor.

When the flooding occurred earlier this year (in 2013) my place in Lac des Arcs escaped mostly unscathed except that the (longish) driveway was completely washed away.

Ryan and his merry band from Solkor helped me grade the driveway back to original form, and they obtained and dumped out 9 tons of road crush, then re-graded the driveway and packed the crush. In addition, they pulled out a few large stumps and expanded the driveway to add more room and allow for better drainage in the future.

Ryan beat his original cost estimate for the work by a substantial margin and I was very happy with that. In addition, his crew were highly professional, polite, and friendly. Oh, and on-time!

I'd recommend Ryan and Solkor, no question.
