Gyro Mazda, East York Reviews (3)
Walid was very informative and friendly in helping us choose our 'new' pre-owned 2012 Mazda 3, as well as obtaining for us the best-possible trade-in on our 2003 Protege 5. After 33 years of dealing with Gyro, Walid helped cement the relationship into the future!
I had unfortunate experience with Gyro (Toronto) Mazda dealership.
I had my summer tires in their storage but they messed it up and, when the winter was over, installed somebody else's summer tires on my CX-5.
I've found this a week after, while inspecting my car after the car wash:
my rear tires were completely worn out, almost bald.
I should had found this earlier, on the day of installation by Gyro Mazda, but I'm not a young person and my eyes are not good any more. Also I could not imagine that a dealership of a major auto company would compromise safety in such a careless manner.
After almost two weeks of deliberations Gyro Mazda replaced the worn out tires with new ones for free. At the same time they maintained that these worn out tires were mine ones and never apologized for the mess and for the safety compromise.
Actually my summer tires were just two summer seasons old and my driving habits are rather conservative (as could be expected from an old person) and the wheels were out of balance not in a very substantial way (anyway it was just up to Gyro Mazda to service the car properly).
As could be expected, I decided not to deal with Gyro Mazda any more and took my winter tires from their storage. They promised to refund the storage cost of winter tires, but it's more than three
months since then and I do not have the refund.
Actually I think that I deserve not only the winter tires storage refund but also the compensation for the two weeks of my family safety compromise, for my time spent in fixing the issue and for the moral damage, resulting in my lost trust to Mazda dealerships

My mother and I went to Gyro Mazda and signed a lease for a Mazda 3 Gt sport with luxury and tech pack.
Before signing the lease on numerous occasions, We asked the sales rep (Andrew) to confirm the price and if everything was included. All we heard was "Yes, yes, yes".
On the day of sighing, My mom was asked to read at the bottom of the page and it read "please read this contract and all pages attached as it is binding".
They sent us an confirmation email with the VIN number and all. A week later we too got the infamous call (not the first that this happened to, check other reviews), "we forgot to charge the delivery fee." Think this is the hook they use. Twice both times, a senior manger made the mistake - Paul Kemet. Really, or is this your marketing tactics.
We told them, they sold us on all the features and were assured a price point and that the contact was signed by both parties and it was binding.
Valarie then called and said point blank that the owner was not willing to take a loss.
Shame on you gyro, this is what you do, you made an orderly woman (a public servant helping torontonians in need) wait 2 and half months, till she heard back from OMVIC that the car just so happened to not get delivered by a mistake on Mazda Canada's part. That's a lot of mistakes for an almost flawless car, first mistake a gyro system glitch the other Mazda Canada mess up. Yeah, we believe you!
Gyro Mazda, you are a cheep low end car salesman, with no honour and dignity. Your god is the dollar. It's sad if anyone reading this would consider giving you business. In a world where I was brought up (Toronto) people had dignity and most would hold true to there word on a hand shake, my friend you turned your back on a signed contract.
Good on you. In my eyes and now in the eyes of potential clients, your word or signature isn't worth $1200 (delivery charges). We love the Mazda, but until we get an apology from Mazda Canada, our family will never purchase one again. Stop blaming Mazda Canada. "Mazda Canada, OMVIC has the proof they dumped it on you, making you the unknowing scapegoat"

If you are in the return period, I would do it!!! That car is also known to burn through tires. You will be replacing tires every 30 000 kilometres. Read this and google mazda 3 non-adjustable camber-arms.
