We have parked our travel trailer at Sid's Storage for about six years. The staff there have been more than pleasant to deal with. They have gone out of their way on more than one occasion to serve us.

I've stored my 5th wheel at Sids for years. Owners are great to deal with, pricing is fair, the lot is secure with good surveillance. Would recommend.

We stored our trailer here for the winter months and it was very safe and secure and the check in process was very easy and efficient. We were out of town and unable to pick up our trailer at the end of the month but the management let us keep it there for an extra few days. We are looking forward to using the facility again next winter.

Very well run storage facility. Prompt response to needs, well secured and monitored lot. Very competitive pricing. Have been using this facility for over 10 years, wouldn't consider moving.

We have now moved out from Sids as we moved to far away to stay. From beginning to end(about 6 months). I've gotten nothing but incredible customer service. Quick responses and a willingness to help are why I give Sids 5 Stars. I also praise Security, on more than the majority of the occasions, I would go out there to grab or check something or while we were going out for the weekend, security would come to check I should be there, and who I am. I always appreciate the attention to detail there. I recommend them as a great option.

So I arrived to park my car. No one was there as they promised to help me remove my battery. So I went to Shorty s down the road who helped me to store my car. Now I have paid over $300. In advance to Paula and they appear to want to keep my money? Waiting before I have hundreds share my review on fb, Instagram & Twitter. Not nice.

We parked our trailer here for several years but it was time to move on due to our trailer being broken into recently. Other trailers in the lot also broken into as at least one owner placed a sign on their door indicating that there was nothing left in their trailer as it had been broken into.

We once arrived to our trailer and someone had moved our trailer from our assigned spot, to a different one (maybe my fault as I had forgotten to put the hitch lock on but you still don’t expect that to happen). Although they have security cameras and they advised they would review them, they never did follow up with us.

I feel as though with the break ins, maybe they could have upped their security but I rarely noticed anyone ever on site whenever we would go pick up our trailer. Maybe this explains the break ins. Their website states that the lot is camera monitored but really what’s the point if it does nothing.

They also put 3 stickers on the front of our trailer, indicating our stall number, without informing or asking us.

Once we left, it took 2 weeks to get our deposit back after 3 or 4 requests, despite being advised we would be refunded and then it taking 9 more days and 2 more requests to actually be refunded.

Although there are positives like a dump station and water, the ground in the lot is riddled with weeds and pot holes. I don’t know why the website says extra wide asphalt roads, unless I am missing something, there are none as it’s all gravel.

Anyway, we moved our trailer to another lot that is far better maintained and more secure for cheaper than what we paid here.

I give two stars because when you do talk to someone they are very friendly

We parked our vehicle here a few times before and nothing happened, but this time we came back, after a long trip, to a car that got the catalytic converter stolen right after we left it there.
The person who runs this place is very nice but once something like this happens, there’s no way you’ll park your vehicle here again.

We contacted this place because it was close to our house, and the rate was cheaper than others, according to their website. But we only used this storage for less than one month, and I am leaving my honest review here.

1. We have 31ft travel trailer. According to the website, the rate was $65 with 6 months contract. BUT they make you pay 6 months of payment at once, NOT by monthly. I contacted 3 other storages nearby, and this was the only place required such thing. When I said I cannot do that, they made me pay $85 per month without the contract. Also they charged me $25 deposit for the "key", which I never received. I don't even know what it looks like.

2. Ok, let's say $85 dollars is fine too. But with that money, you are better off with other storages nearby. First of all, this is the only storage where there is no automatic door. You literally have to open the gigantic gate by pulling and pushing, which is not hard to do, but still annoying, especially when the wind blows hard. Other places have automatic door installed. Why are they charging us the same fee while we have to do this manually?

3. The road to this storage is super bumpy and full of mud. Considering snow melt, and a lot rain we got recently, expect your vehicle and trailer get super dirty trying to come in and out. Our truck was in disgusting state after pulling the trailer in this storage, enough to be complained by the neighbours about the mud we left in the underground parking gate. The ground inside of the storage is not clean either, with many puddles and bump.

4. We pulled our trailer out on 16th of June, and asked for the "key" refund back. No answer. I had to remind them again on 22nd of June. They said they would deposit it on Monday (24th). I had to remind them again about this today (26th) to get it finally refunded. $25 dollars is not a lot of money, but I did not appreciate the fact that I had to text them and bug them for more than a week for this.

Considering that the owners are responsive (other than the time when I asked for the refund), and the location is good, this storage could be a lot nicer than this, if they offer more flexible payment and improve the road conditions. For now, I moved to another storage nearby and am happy with our choice.

As for the review that says mice, mice, mice. The whole city of Calgary has had an increase of mice problems this year. Sid has developed an awesome mousetrap and has done everything he can to help his customers with the mice issues.

Stoney Metis is great. Competitive rates, Huge Stalls and good security. The Sani Dump is great and there is even free fire wood for all of us from time to time. They have a unique rodent control system and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly reccomend this business

This is our third year using Sid's RV storage lot. But this year the mice have been relentless. They found a way into our trailer which has resulted in 14 dead mice in the last 29 days. I have been going out there every night to empty traps. Not sure what they can do, but maybe a few cats would be a good start.

Also, the flooding and standing water has always been an issue in that lot. Granted they've done a lot of work to help with drainage, but it's still a mess everytime it rains.

Thank you Stoney Metis Storage for giving us the peace of mind that our trailer is safe and sound at your facility. The parking spots are clearly marked and wider than the last place we stored. Friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend anyone to store here!

After a rash of thefts from our previous storage lot, I set out to find a secure storage yard. I was so happy to find Stoney Metis! Not only did they meet my expectation of security, but the customer service is fantastic, very competitive prices and the stalls are exceptionally wide. And may I mention, paved! Very happy with our experience here, and here we'll stay.

The price was based on length. Happy and friendly service. Great security. No problem. The newly paved roadways eliminated the mud. I have three spots and never had a problem with my pull-through. Location and access are good for me. I highly recommend Sids. They gave me a good deal.

Take note:
- When you sign up with them they ask you for the size of the trailer - ours 16 ft.
- They give you a little flimsy key which fell apart a couple of days later but whatever ( cost $45)
- When I asked for a refund due to terrible service and very rude way of communicating to paying clients I was told that I would have to take into consideration that I would have to be billed on a month to month basis which makes sense, but all of a sudden the price for a 16 ft trailer suddenly went from $50 (As per their website and our contract) to $85!
- Also, all of a sudden our 16 ft trailer somehow became a 19ft trailer in their eyes because NOW they decided to include the hitch! seriously?!?!

So, After paying $380 for 6 months for a 16Ft trailer I was refunded $56 for using this place for 3.5 months .... Believe me you are better off using someplace else. Be very aware of these people, they make things up as they go and I would trust it. Very Unethical.

To those who are interested, sid is a great guy the lots are of good size and as listed "it is a storage yard". However the roads around the yard are often muddy and hard to navigate in spring/fall or rainy weather, I had to move my unit many times on short notice while in the 3 years of being there. I had my trailer dissapear Into there holding yard ones when there billing got messed up, they still have yet to install a dumping station as promised 3 years ago and in general allot of promises were made but never kept. As well the yard hours aren't very good..so if you need access after 5:30 6 good luck if it isn't in the dead of summer.
