Subaru of Niagara

Fell in love with my Subaru Impreza (from another Subaru dealership) six years ago. Fast forward to today & I'm in the market to buy a replacement car.

I visited Subaru of Niagara to see what they could do to help me get behind the wheel of a 2020 Impreza since I loved the car so much. I genuinely wanted to continue my business relationship with Subaru. Translation : I really had my heart set on a newer Impreza! That's why I went to them first! I was really looking forward to trying out their Eye Sight technology.

I took my car in for an appraisal so I could apply the trade-in value towards the purchase of a newer Impreza. But the trade-in value Subaru of Niagara quoted me seemed quite low. So like any diligent person would do, I visited a few other dealers & got their appraisals as well.

The unfortunate part (for me) was that Subaru of Niagara offered me the lowest trade-in value, so I had to take my business elsewhere. No matter how much I loved my Impreza, I have to take care of wallet as well. I've got a family, so money is always a concern.

I won't pretend to understand how each car dealership comes to their trade-in value assessments & I'm not knocking Subaru of Niagara, but I think it's kind of humorous that Subaru offered the lowest amount on their own make of car & I got a great trade-in value from another car make dealership.

FWIW, their staff is friendly & they sell *amazing cars* to help navigate our harsh Ontario winters.

I used to get stuck every winter for twenty years driving various makes/models of FWD cars. But *not once* did I get stuck in the past six winters in my Subaru Impreza.

I already miss my Subie. :(

I had an opportunity to communicate with their Sales Manager, Devin, via e-mails, but unfortunately we were unable to reach an agreement.

Zach took care of us start to finish in a professional, no pressure, friendly manner. This is our third Subaru purchase but first time using this dealership.

The reality is that I don't know much about cars. As such, When I was a teen I made the big mistake of buying my first car without help from anyone (except a shady salesman).

Zach Johnson at Subaru Niagara made me see the value in each decision I made. He gave me pros and cons without having to ask for it. He is helping to get me set up to pay off the substantial debt I accrued as a teen buying a car from someone who wasn't anywhere near as helpful. And he is a stand-up kind of gentleman.

All in all - Zach and Subaru Niagara are courteous, honest, trustworthy, and professional. More importantly - they listen to your needs and find the best solution.

If you want amazing and honest service this is the place. They will treat you right and genuinely care about your happiness! A lot of dealers make you feel overwhelmed when you come in, but at Subaru of Niagara, it's a very relaxed and low pressure environment. After making my purchase of the 2015 Subaru Turbo Forrester, I walked out knowing that they didn't just see dollar signs but instead a customer whom they were able to assist in driving a new, safe, and reliable vehicle.

They were extremely accommodating with my needs and requests as far as when I could come pick up the vehicle and kept me posted along the way. The salesman and manager at this establishment went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and also knowledgeable in this field without using the car jargon that I wouldn't necessarily understand. Subaru of Niagara really does care about making their customers happy and for this, they will have my business for years to come. They do their slogan justice by really "Looking after what matters".

In a word; excellent!
The staff is professional, knowledgable and are consultative. There was no pressure to buy. The vehicle sells itself. I am looking forward to many years' relationship with this dealer. After all I read that 89% of Subarus sold since '99 are still on the road. I look forwrd to being on thr right side of the stat.

I have purchased and/or leased many vehicles and I can honestly say that my recent lease of a 2014 Forester from Subaru of Niagara was by far the easiest and most pleasurable transaction ever.

Sales Manager Devin Kaulback and Financial Services Manager Sean Hollowell were extremely courteous and helpful and the epitome of professionalism.

Because of my very heavy travel schedule, they very conveniently arranged for me to pick up my new Forester at a location different from that of the dealership. Nonetheless, nothing was overlooked in the delivery process, with a thorough review of all of the features and benefits of the vehicle.

It is obvious that the dealership not only truly values my patronage but also me as a person, which is a rarity in todays' retail landscape.

I would highly recommend Subaru of Niagara as the place to purchase a new Subaru or a used vehicle; and I compliment the owner, Alex Digenis, on fostering such a high level of customer service from the entire team at the dealership.

I have a lot to learn I did not realize that this car had so many great features. This was a very quick sale and they managed to get everything I requested even the color. I have been driving an older model Subaru which greatly influenced my choice of car but I did look at other vehicles the extra cost of this one compared to the others, given the safety and standard features was well worth the few extra dollars. My husband and I tend to keep cars for long periods of time so I am looking forward to great reliability and comfort with my recent purchase. Please note we will be keeping our older model Subaru so we are now a happy two Subaru family.

What can I say? This is a very special purchase for my wife, Wendy and I. I had the great pleasure (although I must say that I was not intuitive enough at the time) to "teach" Alex in both my first of teaching and his first year as a student more than 25 years ago at the Canadian Automotive Institute. My boyfriend Dan and I just picked up our new 2013 Subaru Impreza 5-door manual this weekend and I have to say we could not be happier! The entire process was so incredibly easy that I can't believe we didn't buy a new car sooner!

We test drove one other vehicle that I won't name the make of, but let me just say that from the minute each of us got behind the wheel of an Impreza, the decision was made for us! The handling is just beautiful and the standard AWD is such a huge bonus compared to other car brands.

The fact that we were coming in from Toronto, did not hinder the buying process for us at all! Devin and Sean were both so incredibly helpful in preparing everything over the phone in advance, so that when we picked up our new car, all we had to do was sign some documents, and we were all set! The entire team at Subaru of Niagara made our buying experience such a pleasant one, and I imagine we'll look forward to bringing our car in for maintenance just so we can visit!

Subaru of Niagara has friendly and courteous staff. Had service recently for my Outback. They reviewed my service records and recommended a more appropriate service package. It actually saved me a little money this time around. For a new shop in town they seem to be doing pretty good.

Zach was very good, and we are very happy to have a Subaru Dealership back in St.Catharines! :)
