Nussbaun family law is a fake law firm taking people's money and the guy goes on vacation with my money and never ever represented me. I have no lawyer and I was ripped off for my money like if I was ripped off by Indian scammers. I'm in shocked that this still happened in Canada but by so call lawyers, I will expose the scam and how I was ripped off and never represented. Social media is now a powerful tool. I will even contact the media tomorrow, I was ripped off for 2150 and never got a lawyer ever. The judge represent it me because they sent someone that had no paper work because the guy left to Mexico right after my money and who knows how many more victims out there but it isn't going to stay this way now I have to explain to the judge I was scammed and I'm disabled all because I was trying to help being a kin for someone. I just wanted a lawyer representing me and I was told lies by this office I'm so glad I recorded everything to expose the scam. They now hang up on you and screen calls from their cell phone is not even a real office number. Fake reviews have been bought as I researched, scam baters love to expose this evil people. I really hope to get my money back from this scammers and I can get a real lawyer, I doubt just like the guy said my name is just Joe and I don't have a last name. Now I have to make a police report and reported as scam to my bank wow please do not fall for the same scam I did

I was referred to this firm by another lawyer because the lawyer that I liked couldn’t take me in as he was very busy at the time. I retained Nusbam family firm on a limited scope. I paid the money for the firm to help me prepare a response letter, to review separation agreement etc. I then told the associate lawyer that took my case to reply the opposing counsel in a timely manner. She ended up not emailing the opposing counsel because her excuse was that she didn’t see the email as the email went to the general mail box. On top of that, she said that I didn’t instruct her to do so. Out right lie! I contacted the office and spoke to the manager for the refund. The manager clearly told me that the money is kept and not touched since since the lawyer didn’t do anything and that he would do an e-transfer but he would need to speak to the owner first. I then got a phone call from this guy Barry, oh wow so shocked. Never been uncomfortable talking to a so called professional in my life. He was rude and condescending and despite sending him the corresponding email and all my concerns, he told me that he wouldn’t give me no refund as they did the work. clearly the work wasn’t done and I didn’t even get any breakdown as to what exactly they did. Honestly, choosing the right firm had been more stressful than my divorce. I know it’s not a ton of money that I paid but I can’t stand this kind of dishonest people who’s main priority is MONEY. I will contact the law society for sure.
