We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). We had the 1 bedroom sleeps 4 (sofa bed). It was an amazing trip . The resort was clean and staff very friendly. The apartment was spacious and the resort gave us a great view (front you could see the ocean, back you could see the canal). All our trips using SuiteLife Vacations Resorts has been wonderful. We are now planning our vacation to Aruba.
We joined in 2004 when it was branded Resort Villa Vacations. We have taken six vacations. They have gotten us everything we ever asked for, when we asked for what we asked. The local management has changed at the resort and the quality is slipping on the premises and we might try a different property but that's two years away. We are happy with our vacations. I don't understand why the feedback is so short of our experiences.
After paying $12,000. along with regular annual maintenance fee and then a $500. fee for their poor business management choices and whenever the management don't make a profit. Then they ask for more money and they justify it by bringing your attention to some small print in the contract that basically states that they can demand an administrative charge whenever they want. What a mistake. No lawyer in his right mind would ever allow his client to sign this contract.....Regrets
I just got a letter in the mail saying if I don't pay 1268$ in 10 days. Legal proceedings will be started against me.
So many bad issues I dealt with this company, including the horrible stay we had at Massanutten, Resort, sent some pictures with cockroaches in the unit and never replied. of course they are sorry and that it would never happen again.
Another issue was I was told of a location change in less than 24 hours. and that nothing I can do but to checked in on new location
Very rude staff, all of them I should say. if you speak to them, they would not even find a better solution but just for you to deal with it. and of course the word sorry ( too bad you are one of the victims!)
Please whoever plans to be a member of this club. Please you have to think million times , nothing good in this club.

We have been members for more than 10 years. Originally joined when it was Villa Vacation Club. Our experiences have always been positive and the unit definitely 4+stars.
We have been with Suite Life Vacations for a number of years now and have only used it once. This is not the first time they are asking members to pay extra cash. They have done this before and the yearly fee goes up quite often as well. We paid over $18, 000. I cant understand paying so much money and then have been told that this would be forwarded to a collection agency. I believe we should be the ones taking Suite Life to a collection agency. Someone mentioned about getting W5 involved. I believe this would be in our best interest to move forward with something like this.
They never stopped taking money from our account and nothing has been available. If there some people ready to claim anything to them, please let us know.
I have enjoyed having this vacation club. I have had it for about a decade now and never had a problem getting what I want.
I didn't appreciate the rate hike or this extra fee they claim was caused by a fraud to their business. I will not pay anymore hikes, nor will I pay should I decide to discontinue to use it.
I will however continue to use it as I like staying in an apt. rather that a hotel room.
some time shares will trade with you if you want a change

Stay away from this co. W realized it was the greatest mistake to pay over $ 10,000 to join, for there has not been any savings the times we did any bookings with them. It has beeni a scam from day one. Now they are asking for more money: special assessment fees, and to get out, the only option is to pay an exorbitant amount in US dollars. There should be a class action against this co.
I would give the rating a 0. When my husband I joined it was because we were building a home. It was not just vacations. Then the next year it all went away except for the vacations. That was disappointing. Then we have booked one vacation ever and the girl booked reservations in Puerto Vallarta and our plane reservations were for the Maya Riveria.. What a mess, so we did not get
to go where we wanted.
Yes we also got asked to pay extra this year. It was for they prepaid one of their contacts and they
went bankrupt . Sooooo we all have to make up for their mistakes.. Well we are not. Now we got a letter saying
if we don,t pay we will be in collections. REALLY; We have paid Suitelife $7000. for nothing. I looks
like to me that the scammers Suitelife got scammed themselves.
Not a cent more

We have been members since 2010 and never used this shady company for any benefit. We have tried and never been able to book or even find any "deals" that were presented to us when we joined. Several thousand retirement dollars have paid out under duress.
We would love to be involved in any class action that should take place to have this company cease and desist these horrible business practices.

We have never even used the program that we bought in 2002 as it was to be for our retirement. we paid $13000 plus over $3000 in annual maintenance fees and now are being asked to pay another special assessment fee. Not a chance. When they can send all members detailed, audited financial statements that my accountant and lawyer can review then we can discuss.
We did not get a notice either just a letter yesterday stating payment is due today for $399 USD and a $25 USD late fee.
Wish we had never had done this.

Joining this club was absolutely the worst decision ever!!! Totally agree with all the previous complaints ( except for the one unbelievable positive comment). Perhaps a class action lawsuit would be an option. They may be operating their scam within the guidelines of the law but a scam is what it is. An ethical company would allow membership cancellations instead of holding people hostage to their self serving contract. I'm thinking of contacting W5 or one of the other investigative news shows....I think they would like to hear about this outrageous company!!!!!
These crooks will steal thousand of dollars of your money, for a service of dubious value. Can you book weeks at condos? Sure, but with limited availability, and at prices higher than you can book through free internet services. Do they answer the phone when you call? Sure, after 20-30 minutes on hold. Do they reply to emails? Maybe after 3 or 4 days.
This year they have the guts to ask members to pay a $400 USD special assessment fee just because they made a bad business decision (after we paid one in 2009 because of the "downturn in the economy" ). This is on top of the normal $300 USD per year "maintenance" fee . Can they provide reasonable and adequate justification for the special assessment? No. No audited business records, just an email list of "losses" that they now expect us to pay for (guess we are just supposed to take their word for it, so president Anthony Addessi can buy a new Mercedes again this year).
Can't stress this strongly enough - stay away, stay away, stay away!
If I could submit this review with 0 stars I would, but the site won't let me.

Just received two identical letters on Friday September 18, 2015. These letters are advising me that I have not payed Suitelife Vacations Club their Special Assessment Fee of $424 USD and this includes a $25 USD late fee. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED or HEARD OF SUCH A FEE! Attempted to enter their Web Site and was unsuccessful. Does anyone know what this fee is for? Looked up Company Reviews and found similar complaints. ALL MEMBERS NEED TO INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER, and post there findings.
We have been members for at least 20 years. We have never complained and have used the properties in our applicable years. We were originally sold it be promised the use of 4 to 5 star resorts. We stayed at deerhurst (privately owned) but managed by Suite Life Vacations Club. The place is below a 2 star. They knew there was construction above us for the full week. Once we let them know there answer was "we expected you not to be in the unit during the day" or "we can move you to another resort in another area of Ontario, about an hour away". Both unacceptable. I would never buy from this organization, nor recommend it to anyone. In my mind just throwing money down the drain. Considering not renewing our annual fee.
Heading into retirement and wanting to travel more, my wife and I joined based on what we believed we were going to get out of this service. They pitched us on getting almost unlimited availability to vacation condo suites around the world at reasonable prices. The reality it, we only used the service a few times since we were only able to book what was available at the time and not what we really wanted. So we ended up continuing to book our own vacation rentals outside of the service. We were told by suite life that we might have a better chance at getting what we wanted if we booked during low season - well who wants to go the the Caribbean in august?
Also, the prices are not very competitive. For example, suite life offered us a puerto rico condo for about $1100 USD. We were able to find nicer condo for under $1300 - this without having dish out $10,000 for a suite life membership nor paying the ever climbing yearly annual fee. To boot, suite like has now requested a 'special assessment' fee of $399 USD to keep our membership active. Who knows if this is a first of many to come.
With services like VRBO as well as others that offer packages in $CDN, it makes no sense to join suite life. We sincerely wish we did not waste out money on joining suite life and hoping this note helps others avoid making the same mistake we made.

We have been members since 2008 and enjoyed a number of vacations over the years. We have less than 1 year left in our contract and have not been able to use all our weeks. As such I thought I would give some of my weeks to other family members to enjoy. To my surprise in trying to book I am advised that I owe $399 US in assessment fees. That I received messages to that effect and that I can not make a new reservation until these new fees are paid. This is competently unacceptable a practice. We signed on and paid our yearly fee regularly. We are very disappointed. Despite all the complaints I have read I was happy to say I had none up to this point. If this company has any integrity at all, they will remove the imposition of this fee to their existing members and let them book their weeks per the terms of this agreement. I am expecting a call to sort this out. I will see if anyone calls back. That will be telling.
This Club has changed management since we bought in and changed the rules, changed the benefits, changed the fees, and added extra assessment fees. Not only do you have to put money in, but if you ever want to resign your membership, it will cost you $1500US! Stay away from this Club at all cost. You can do better elsewhere. This is a minus10 star rating.
The freebies offered during the presentation are not free. The marketing presentations are deceptive. The designated or chosen time share equivalents can be obtained less expensively when dealing directly with the hotels/inns/resorts. By paying thousands of dollars up-front you will be tying up your money. It seems that the company may be having you pay for advertising the hotels/inns/resorts described in their literature.
Has any member been contacted lately by this company asking for $400 to fund the bankruptcy of Dream Travel. This is a business failure on their part and as such they should not burden their members. Unless they can show specific provision of any agreement we signed then no member should contribute
If you want to save your money, DO NOT sign up with these people. They will take your money, bind you in for your term, and give you nothing in return. They expect their members to pay for bad business decisions THEY made, and don't even bother to carry INSURANCE to cover their problems....which now they expect everyone else to pay for, and WILL NOT JUSTIFY the money they are asking. Management does not answer calls/emails. They think you will just pay them and move on. You can get cheap vacations elsewhere, and if you want to rent a timeshare, just go to a timeshare website and save your selves $5-20,000 depending on your contract. Trust me, you will save your money that way.
We joined Suite Life a few months back and after having a chance to use the club so often, we have already gotten our value out of it! We were sleptical at first thank god we decided to go with it. They also gave us some pretty generous gifts. 5 stars all the way!
