Not very impressed with service
I went in for my eye exam in the middle of July. Ordered some nice frames and glasses with Transitions and Crizel. At the end of August I went to pick them up. Upon examining the lenses I noted a hazy mark on the bottom. I asked about this and they said they could get it fixed. It would take 4 - 5 days. I'm not sure why they just didn't check it before I had to point it out to them. After not hearing from them in over a month, I phoned to check the status. It had come in but no one phoned. I went in again to pick it up, pleased that I could finally use them. That morning I was going on a bike ride so thought I'd try out my new glasses. To my surprise there was no Transitions on it! I stood outside waiting for them to change and they never did! I generally get headaches if I don't have shades which is why I ordered these. By now, I am frustrated with their lack of efficient service. I phone in and ask them about this and the receptionist said they have no record of transitions on my order form! At that point I asked, "Why did I pay $600 for the glasses?" She quickly said she could get them done and it would take 4 - 5 days. A month later, still no word. I finally call and happen to talk to the lab. I told them my story and she apologized for the lack of service and offered me some reading glasses. The day I phoned, she said the order had come in that morning..a month since my phone call... I also asked to talk to the manager but they said she was away on holidays for two weeks....hmmm....The saga continues...I'm to bring in my frames this week so we'll see what happens.
