If you have limited budget, I definitely recommend this guy. I moved from Toronto to Edmonton,AB. I have 5000 lbs and I paid $2540.00. They did very good job for me, they did pick up on time, delivery on time. They have very friendly crew members, they are helpful and very professional. I have no damage items as well. Thank you very much, I will use you guys again for sure.

- Changed drop off times and dates on me, four times
- Driver was rude and condescending and yelled at, threatened and hung- up on me throughout my 2 day ordeal. Favorite sentences, "Not my problem" and "what do you expect".
- Manager Dave, told me they are not a pizza delivery company and if I don't comply, they will take my stuff back from Vancouver to Edmonton and I will have to figure it out for myself. Also threatened me with legal action when I will be the one pursuing it. 100%
- Unprofessional moving tactics such as adding extra fees after the fact and saying that it looks like I can afford it.
- Threatening to put my stuff in storage, threatening to leave my stuff on the side of the road.
- Brought the wrong size truck and expected me to come up with a solution and fund that solution, when they knew I was moving into a highrise downtown Van, and should have been properly prepared.
- Broke stuff. Brought wrong stuff in (other people's stuff). Super slow and wasted the elevator time slot and had to come back a second time, but then wanted to charge more.
- Ended up not even getting most of my stuff. After they spent 2 hours moving in one mattress, 2 boxes, some pictures and my tv's, they told me I would be charged more to move the rest and wanted the money up front before starting, the following day. I told them to pound sand and that I would give them the money when they were finished. We couldn't resolve it, and they ended up keeping my stuff because I refused to pay up front as well as extra for their mess up.

I moved with Real Canada Wide Moving Services from Calgary to Halifax, they did pretty good job for me.They picked it up on time and did delivery on time, nothing broken or missing.(except picture frame- they paid later on) I have 8500 lbs shipment and basically they did excellent job. I really appreciated Gabriela and their driver Dawit. Good people, good service. I like it very much.

Used this company for a move from Alberta to Ontario and I had a great experience. I would definitely recommend them if you plan on moving.

WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I moved from northern Alberta to the greater Toronto area in October, and this company was an absolute nightmare. The company LOST OVER $1000 WORTH OF MY STUFF in the move. The only item that was ever found was my guitar, which was only found when I sent a friend to the office in Edmonton to look around. The remainder of my missing items was over $800. After filing my claim, I had no follow up from the company and was calling regularly to ask about their progress. The claims department does not respond to phone calls and I would only get email responses after calling a couple of times and asking them to respond. When I finally did get a response from claims (this was 2 months after my move), Tony gave a haphazard weight for my missing items x $0.60 per pound minus the $350 deductible, and told me I would receive nothing for my claim. Eventually he offered me $100 for my trouble, and I was able to eventually get $200 returned. The customer service I received from Tony was extremely rude, and he literally told me this was not his problem.
Additionally many of the boxes that did arrive were smashed and broken. My quote stated that disassembly of large furniture was included, however the men that arrived adamantly denied this and did not bring a single tool. I waited all day for them to arrive on the day I was moving and got a call at 4pm saying they did not have enough space and would come in the morning. I was able to convince them to come because I was leaving the next day, and they showed up with a half empty truck with more than enough space. I was informed that my things had arrived in town, but could not be delivered for another week, and could only be delivered at one specific time.
TERRIBLE EXPEREINCE THAT I DO NOT WISH ON ANYONE ELSE. For the amount of money I ended up spending on this move I could have used the most expensive company out there.
TRY ANY COMPANY BUT THIS ONE

Great customer service, I had a few broken items but its understandable when your going across the country. I recommend wrapping everything in bubble wrap and you wont have any problems. Over all a good company.

This company was able to fit me in on very short notice (the day before i needed to be out of my place) and got me into my new apartment very quickly. It was an hourly rate and i ended up paying exactly as they said, not like the last company i used. If your moving in edmonton and need a reliable company REAL CANADA is the way to go.

I moved with this company last month from Grande Prairie, Ab to Toronto, On. I had a great experience, the movers were very friendly and efficient and both pickup and delivery. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to move. It was my first time moving with a company and had many questions. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was more than happy to answer my many questions, THANKS SO MUCH!!

My sister moved with them from Edmonton,AB to Toronto,ON. She lost her job last summer in Alberta and she decided to go Toronto,ON. Unfortunately she didn't find any jobs in Toronto and she tried to come back to Edmonton. Same time, she spent all her savings during this stressful time, no job and her household goods stays moving company Toronto warehouse. She contacted moving company and explained her situation and she promised to them pay her balance monthly. Usually they never accepted this kind of offer but they accept and brought back her shipment in Edmonton warehouse. Still she doesn't have money and she bankrupt. She owes more $2000 to moving company. She was really hopeless and upset, no furniture nothing. Last week Real Canada Wide moving office manager Gabriela called her and gave her good news. Her boss willing to give my sister's shipment free and no any charge. Just he wants top help her because she is really tried to pay her balance, just she doesn't have any money. They did delivery last week Saturday and she was so happy. This is a miracle for us. I want to say GOD BLESS Real Canada Wide Moving and company owner.
Thousands thanks!

I would like to thank you guys for your service. Actually this is Joyce, Norma's daughter writing the review.
My mother Norma is on treatments right now. She has Leukemia. She just wants to be back home with me because this notice just changed everything.
They did the full packing for my mother; the owner gave her a discount because he was very touch, and really wants to help her.
You guys are really good people and May God bless you.
I do not have any bad comments. Finally something positive! I would recommend this company to every single people who are looking to move across Canada!
Thank you so much!!

I used Real Canada Wide Moving Services few weeks ago for the second time, they did a great job back than and once again on my recent move. These movers are brilliant. They have the complete knowledge about their work and they know how to deal with the pressure and odds according to the situation. I just love their professionalism, punctuality, speed, accuracy and friendliness. Real Canada Wide Moving Services is also a very affordable company to hire. That is why I will be using them whenever I need to have the moving services.

Short story: they profit off of customers' misinformation. They don't inform you of their regulations and conditions and they screw something up, they try to cash in on those regulations and conditions they never mentioned to you. My best advice here is: stay away from this company.

Whole story:

I moved from Vancouver to Toronto and somewhere along the trip, they broke my TV. I emailed them on the date they delivered my things (June 2nd) with pictures of my TV, asking how we should proceed with the issue. Two days later (June 4th), Tony replies me stating that he will be processing my claim ASAP and asks me to note that processing claims may take up to 2 to 4 weeks (ASAP for sure).

I waited two weeks before trying to get in touch with Real Canada Wide Moving again, and on Sunday, June 19th I emailed them asking for a follow up to my claim. No answer on Monday, June 20th.

I proceeded to email them once again on Tuesday, June 21st. No answer on Wednesday, June 22nd. I emailed them once again on Wednesday, June 22nd, and, once again, no one replied me by Thursday June 23rd.

On Thursday, June 23rd I called them. Nicole answered the phone and I requested to speak with Tony. She then told me that the “claims department” doesn't take phone calls (Tony signs his emails as being part of “Customer Services Department. What kind of customer service doesn't take phone calls?!).

She told me that if it was about a claim I should send them an email, to which I told her “I've sent three emails over the last few days and no one replied me”, she told me she would talk to the “claims department” and that if no one gave me an answer by Friday, June 24th I should call them again.

I forgot to call them on Friday, June 23rd and on Monday, June 27th, Tony replied me saying that they are not liable to pay me anything because:
1 – The TV was packed by me

- This is not true. Their crew packed my TV. On their checklist, everything I had packed myself and was inside boxes, they would write solely “Box”. For the TV, they wrote on their checklist “TV”.

2 – Quote: “In the contract unfortunately you didn't buy the extra insurance when this is the case; the shipment then travels under standard liability(...) with a $350,00 deductible, to be paid by the customer”.

- This is also not true. Said “contract” was never shown to me prior to this email, where Tony was answering my claim. The same goes for this “extra insurance”. Nobody inside Real Canada Wide Moving ever mentioned that purchasing extra insurance was an option, so I never had the opportunity to further protect my things. And, surprisingly, the same goes for $350,00 deductible of said “insurance”, which was never mentioned to me before Monday June 27th.

Tony then proceeds to offer me $100,00 (even though, according to him, they owe me nothing), for my “satisfaction”, which I think is a poorly planned bad taste joke.

The only sheet of paper with anything that resembles a contract only got to me on the day they delivered my things, (June 2nd), which was the sheet they needed signed as confirmation of delivery. My girlfriend signed that sheet and she was instructed by the moving crew, on the delivery day, to sign the pick up date (May 22nd) only after they delivered my items.

And that's why I would never do business with Real Canada Wide Moving again nor I would recommend it to anyone. Stay away from them!
I will update this review with a link to the Better Business Bureau complaint I will open. In there, anyone will be able to see all the documents along with the story.

Was recently named the new Head Football Coaching position at Saint Mary's University. A little bit hurried for the move and found this company to be right around the middle of all the estimates that were found. I decided to go with this company and I made a MAJOR mistake. Gabriella took my deposit and assured that everything was going to be okay and I trusted them wholeheartedly with EVERYTHING!!! I PAID FOR PACKING and the movers came and did a quick, "decent" job (outside company) and was out of my house in about 2 hours. It took some time for my things to get there but it amazed me when they told me my weight was 4900 lbs (completely overweight and they knew it). When it was questioned they made it utterly impossible to try and re-scale (had to go an hour away and pay a $300 fee just to make them wrong). Since I paid for the packing did they come in and unpack my stuff (NO just threw all my boxes downstairs) and complained about having to go to another job. I had stuff damaged, missing, broken beyond repair and NOW the funny part starts. We had to send in a claim because of all the wrong-doing they did on the move and they stick you with some BS lingo that makes no sense....THE ENTIRE JOB WAS CRAP!!!!!

My name is James Colzie and if you want to look me up please do and ask me what this company did. Saint Mary's University (my employer) paid almost $6900 and we got about $1500 (gas for the move) worth of service. They ripped me OFF and hide behind some BS contract that nobody understands (not even them). They wanted to give me $200 and act like they were doing me a favour. If you use try to use this company (you have been warned). They will try to erase it and I will continue to post it. They messed with the wrong person and it is my duty to ensure that this never happens again to anyone.

Hi,
I lost my job and moved out from Edmonton to Halifax,NS. My friend recommended this company, I talked with Gabriela and she help me lots of thing. First this is mid-class company, and they have really good rate. If you have tight budget, I tell you try this company. They are not like big van lines. this is a fact. But in this price margin they really did very good job for me. Before I find them I asked quote couple big van lines. Their price very very high, and they never give any free storage. Finally I moved with Real Canada Wide Moving and I got good and and honest service. I have 2000 lbs and it cost to me $1645 + tax.
I definitely recommend this company to everyone who has tight budget.

I have moved from Fort McMurray to Edmonton and then to Vancouver with this company Real Canada Wide Moving Services based out of Edmonton. They were referred to me by my friends who have dealt with them before. My opinion is that for the amount they charged me for storing and moving my things, it was a pretty good deal. I have hired other moving companies before hoping to get a better service and I would have to say that is pretty much all the same. At least they have been honest and did their best to answer my questions and inquiries. The cost is very reasonable and fair and as far as customer service it was beyond fair. Thanks guys and i wish all the people who are looking for moving company the best with finding the right people that will suite your needs.
Happy moving!
Cheers

''Bad inner communication in the office'‘: that`s what their area manager told me when trying to explain hidden fees to me the day before moving…

I use a scale at home and estimated 800lbs for all my stuff, my first scale ticket that they tried to charge me was 1880lbs.

After asking them to rescale, it was 1220lbs… honest mistake they told me, but still trying to charge me warehouse fees that were not in the original estimate.

Just go somewhere else…

They were late arriving for pick-up. Then seemed more interested in getting out than doing things right. When they brought my furniture to the next location they told me it wouldn't fit. I ended up getting it in on my own... with the only problem being that I was by myself lifting a box spring and a couch. They are lazy.

If you go on homestar reviews you can see the company replies to some of the reviews. This expresses how RUDE they are. This company cares more about getting the upper hand than it cares about doing a good job.

Did not come on the date scheduled. Horrible customer service once they book you. We were not informed about any added cost to things we flat out asked about things (ie Treadmill, delivering to rural areas). ALOT of damaged items. They have no respect for any of our property. They find any loop hole imaginable to not do anything for anyone. Ended up not even the cheapest which is why we went with them. If we got what we paid for we could have all our items in one piece and at least an apology. But we were over charged and never even heard an "I'm sorry". Faith in people a little lowered today. Shame. Would do 0/5 if it let me

I moved from Calgary to Ontario recently and I had a great experience.
They did all the packing for me and were really fast and professional.
They also delivered my things on time and pretty fast.
Anyway, I personally had a really great experience.

My sale agent Gabriela was very helpful and reassuring.

Thanks Gabriela for helping me !

My service for moving was better than what i had expected. The price is pretty good, considering if i had moved it myself and rented a truck. The only thing is it is a longer wait but it is across canada. I just took the things i needed for a couple of weeks, and it isn't as bad as i expected . The damage was close to none and the price is half of would have costed me witj other company. It isn't bad at all.

Our family just moved from Alberta to BC. we thought this company would be good as there price seem better than the rest. well the quote they gave us was doubled after our items were delivered. the guys that picked up our stuff were very nice and friendly. Great guys thats for sure. well as for the office end not so great. our stuff showed up late from what they told us and only three quarters of our stuff showed up. we then had to wait another week to get the rest of our stuff. some of our stuff was damaged and they dont want to pay. we also tried to get money back for our stuff being late but no one wants to return our calls. plus we asked to talk to someone hire up and that they will phone if they have time. will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Just here guys to tell you about my experience with this company Real Canada Wide moving. If you want long distance move this is it, its very cheap. The cheapest I have had a quote for, compared to the moving companies. the pick up an delivery was right on time, the items were all tagged and recorded. If I move again these guys will be it for me. Compared to all the horror stories I have heard, this company prooved their negative reviews wrong and the price is right. For your next move, consider them for it.
