I havnt lived in the province for over a year and these guys are ignoring my numerous emails and calls and STILL taking money out my account. They were so rude to me after I signed up that I never ONCE used my membership. I was too uncomfortable to go. And yet here we are over a year later and they are still ignoring my requests for communication. Not even one phone call back or returned email in a year of chasing. I deserve a refund for the money takin from account not to mention an apology for the undue stress this place is causing me.

Again?? How many times do I need to start my day at a filthy fitness facility?
I am not sure whats happening but its not good. The facility is constantly in a state. Dirty floors, mirrors, sinks and waste bins that have not beem emptied. This morning is the last straw for me. At around 7a today the facility was the grossest I have ever seen it. Clearly noone came in to clean last night as I was there at 7am. Why does this keep happening? I have sent 2 friends to this facility but I assure you, wont be sending any more. Considering going elsewhere. It's simple hire cleaners !!!!

Well, I have been a member since the doors opened at WFCC Appleby location. I absolutely loved this club when first opened, facility-location, classes, weight room, equipment, spin bikes, everything!! The cleanliness has declined immensely in the last year and a half!!
The club should spend the money in hiring professional custodial services, not students with household products, brooms and mops!
One of my biggest peeve's (cleaning cardio machines from the bottom up) using the same cloth for handles after they've cleaned the treads)!
The use of cell phones in the gym, classes and changeroom are not enforced by staff/management and are distracting and rude to other members, not to mention the instructors!!
There is a comment box at the front desk asking members/patrons to share their opinions and requests, but always seem to fall on deaf ears!

I have been a member at the gym since the beginning. I have loved the gym and previously wrote reviews reflecting this. Lately, I have been appalled at the lack of cleanliness of this once pristine club. There is not any reason I can think of that would result in the gym being filthy first thing in the morning- I am often the first in the shower at 7am. I have noticed filthy floors, hair EVERYWHERE!!, and the one that put me over the edge resulting in this review was the band-aid I found in my shower this morning. Disgusting!!! Showers and the entire gym should be clean first thing in the morning and a cleaning crew should be coming through multiple times throughout the day.
I am so sad to see the decline of this gym and I will be taking my business elsewhere if it doesn't improve. I will also be posting pictures of the mess. Get your act together!!

I just wanted to write to let you know how much I am enjoying Pedro's classes.

He is talented, skillful and has an abundance of energy. He really knows how to motivate the classes he teaches. I think he helps build camaraderie in his classes because he engages us with his sense of humour and besides work outs we also share laughs.

I look forward to his classes because they are all different. He mixes the music and moves and is constantly adding new routines. I requested a song in his latin dance class and the following week he had already incorporated it into the routine.

I also look forward to his classes because I know I am going to get a great work out. I attend his classes because I believe they can help me significantly reach my goal weight because his classes are not easy or boring. He plans and prepares for them and I want a challenge. He is a passionate instructor, a real people person who instructs with a smile on his face.

Tonight I brought a friend on a guest pass just so she could attend his class. She came from Guelph and she really loved it.

Thanks for bringing Pedro on staff, he is a welcome addition.

I started at Women's Futness when it first opened trying the amazing array of classes. Then my daughter said to try something new called "Tribe". I am now a member of Ruth's Tribe Core! First of all we have a blast and our workouts have been progressively harder as we become stronger. I then incorporated a once a week TRX class with Pam. Well this class has been amazing and cool and extremely beneficial to my body, mind and nutritional intake.
Ruth and Pam have managed to transform this 62 year old body to a very strong and toned younger looking one. Nothing is too hard and the girls are both good at pushing me to the right limit (which I never thought I'd ever achieve!) I'd recommend either of these trainers and these classes to anyone ... Any age!

I would like to be totally honest with you regarding your Male Fitness Director. I am certainly not a prejudiced person by any means, but if I had wanted to have Male Instructors I would certainly have joined a Co-Ed Gym not Women's Fitness. I guess Womens Fitness means nothing to you the OWNER and if there are some of your clients that wish a Male Instructor I would suggest that they join a Co-Ed Gym.

I am completely appalled that a Women's Fitness would hire a Male Fitness Director in light of how many Ethnic people there are here in the Gym and I believe that this was not even taken into consideration when a decision was made to hire Males.

I would also like to thank everyone enfolded in this decision making for thinking of the entire Membership Not. The Membership should have been at least consulted in some way before any decision was made to move ahead with Male counterparts in a Female Gym.

I will seriously be considering my further commitment to this Gym in the coming weeks if something is not done.

Just completed my first six week Tribe Fit session. Dawn was our team instructor and was absolutely great. Our own personal cheerleader and motivator! I can’t say enough how happy I am that I decided to join her team.

I never saw myself joining Tribe. I’ve been to many of Dawn’s group exercise classes and have liked the way she has taught so when she said she was running a Tribe Fit demo I thought ‘what the heck’ I’ll go and see what it was all about. It was crazy hard but the feeling I had when it was done was amazing. It took me out of my comfort zone, and was a real challenge.

I’ve been going to gyms, doing group exercise classes and using the equipment for the last 8 plus years. I am pretty dedicated to being active and keeping fit. I was on the fence at first, I was nervous to join because the demo was hard and I was thinking to myself “do I really want to put myself through this 3 times a week, I am 42 years old, maybe I should slow down not speed up.”

I can honestly say it was a great decision - I absolutely feel as the tagline reads Fit, Fast and Strong. It was a jolt to my exercise routine, I was changing things up and seeing the results. My cardio rapidly improved, I’ve lost around my mid section (without doing 1 sit-up), and overall feel energized and strong. And the to top it off - I’ve spent less time at the gym.

There were days when I felt there is no way I can get through this but I did. There were times when I thought there is no way I can do 1 more whatever and sure enough Dawn was there beside me doing the last 5 with me, encouraging me and reminding me that I can.

Quote that sums it all up for me “Don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits”.

I joined this gym 5 months ago and I'm loving it. It's clean, you never have to wait to use any of the cardio machines and they have plenty of free weights, etc. Also, the staff are very friendly and seem like the genuinely want to help you.

Also, I have worked with my personal trainer Sephanna for 4 months now. She is amazing. She always has a positive attitude and likes to challenge you. She has helped me become a stronger and more confident person!

Honestly three words... BEST GYM EVER! Never had a problem with any of the staff and the facility. They provide you with special care and try the best they can to make your experience at the gym the best you ever had. If i hadnt got pregnant i would totally have stayed. I felt very comfortable in that gym , because i am a muslim hijabi woman and i feel comfortable ripping it off and working out freely. If you need a womens gym with the best service and a clean facility this is the one for you.

I just finished my first Tribe Core program with Ruth this month. One word to describe this program - AWESOME! Not only do I feel stronger, but I have more energy and don't feel sluggish anymore. Ruth is an amazing instructor and the ladies in my class were so much fun. We laughed and cheered each other on. I couldn't ask for a better team! Looking forward to starting up again next month. First let me begin by saying without Antonette I would not have accomplished all my health goals to date. Antonette is driven, hard working, KNOWLEDGEABLE, a great listener and a huge motivator. I look forward to my personal training sessions every Tuesday and Thursday morning with Antonette. She drives me to levels I didn't think I was capable of but at the same time is always very attentive to my needs and goals. Antonette is also so much fun to work out with and keeps me laughing and motivated. She treats all her clients with great respect and is a true professional. Since training with Antonette I have lost 15 pounds and I am happy to say I am keeping the weight off as well as I have dropped one whole size. I have always been a medium sized girl and now I am thrilled to say I am buying my workout pants in a size small and I am buying size 26 in jeans a not 28, this is a HUGE accomplishment for me at the age of 50 I couldn't ask for more. I have never been a "cardio" girl I love my personal training sessions combined with yoga and pilates and feel great. But now that Antonette is going to be teaching a class on Friday mornings geared more towards cardio I can honestly say I am looking forward to her class and know how much I am going to gain with spending one more hour a week with her. I just love training with Antonette and look forward to our continued journey together for a long, healthy and fun ride. Thanks Antonette for going above and beyond and in taking such good care of me, I really appreciate all you do to keep me fit and on track!

Just finished my first Tribe core program and enjoyed having Laura as my instructor. She was encouraging with a positive outlook. I feel personal core strength improvement and taking the program has even helped my golf game.

Looking to add some variety to my fitness regime, I decided to join one of Joanna's TRIBE groups the beginning of August and I am so glad I did!! This program was just what I was looking for. Joanna is a very motivating, knowledgable trainer and focused on helping you achieve your goals. The small class settings provide for a fun atmosphere and pushes you above and beyond what you what you think is possible. After only 4 weeks I am feeling stronger and more fit. I am more energized and making healthier lifestyle choices. I am excited to see what the remainder of the program brings for me and I will definitely be back for next season!! Thank you TRIBE!!!

I joined Joanna's Tribe Fit team 4 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with the results! I have noticeably toned up, I feel much stronger, I'm eating better and sleeping more so I have more energy and I actually look forward to the classes!

I couldn't have asked for a better, more supportive team. While we are all at different levels of fitness, it doesn't matter as everyone gives each workout their all and we cheer each other on to make it to the end.

I recommend the Tribe Team Training program to anyone looking to get a killer workout in a fun, encouraging environment. Consider me booked for next season!

I came into this not really knowing what to expect. At 59 years old I was worried that I couldn't keep up with the younger members. I was worrying for nothing! I LOVE this class. Sure, it is hard, but Joanna is a fantastic instructor, funny and motivating, but tough. And that's a good thing :-) If it were easy, what would be the point.
TribeCore is an exceptional addition to the gym. It's definitely made a difference for me and I look forward to signing up for the next session!

Excellent customer service. The gym is always extremely clean and the customer service is superb. From the cleaning staff to the managers. Every time you walk into the gym, there is always a smiley face greeting you. I've been a member at other gyms before, but this one tops the cake.

Just joined over a week ago. What a beautiful gym, they have everything and more. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this gym. Love it!

Sarah M is my trainer and she is fantastic. Sarah listens to what I want to accomplish and will push me towards success. I have asked her to modify, intensify and even change our routine and she always does so quickly and with enthusiasm. I have already seen results and look forward to further success. Her experience with special needs and the elderly has been of great benefit to me as I have a health condition and she is mindful but aggressive in pursuing our fitness goals. A great experience with her so far.

Antonette's TRX class is awesome. I also do personal training with her and I love her out of the box way of training. I was going to do the TRX once before but Antonette couldn't do the class so I didn't sign up. I hope she continues with this as I would only do it if she is the instructor.

This gym makes you feel so comfortable. Bright smiling faces greets at the door. There are so many great classes to choose from that you need to try them all. The trainers are so easy to talk to and they really encouraging and motivating .
I have been doing personal training with Antonette and attending her TRX booth camp. She really pushes you and motivates in every way possible. She comes up with so many different and challenging workouts, so you are never bored. I'm really looking forward to continuing my bootcamp with Antonette. Keep up the good work.

I love this 8 week program!!!! I feel constantly challenged and motivated to do better. After every session I feel the burn and it is fantastic! Antoinette is an excellent trainer, keeping every week fun and well spent!

Over the years, I had been a member at several other gyms in the Burlington area. By comparison, this gym is by far the best in the area. The equipment is both functional and state of the art, the staff friendly and professional, and the environment extremely clean. I appreciate the different classes and levels offered to the members. There's always something innovative to try.
I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Carol as my personal trainer. I have found that she is knowledgeable, professional and encouraging. It's nice to know that while she puts you through the paces which she has designed for you, she is also your cheerleader. Her sense of humour and patience are unfailing. I feel more energized and motivated to do my best than I have in a long time. Many thanks to Carol and to the club!
