I would like to say that our plant has used Vancouver electrician, Mel Gerein of Meggar Electrical Inc for the past twenty plus years now. He has a vast knowledge on all industrial electrical applications. Mel and his employees always met our needs, and have embraced and followed our contractor safety programs.

We have had many electrical upgrades over the past twenty years from motor control centers, power distribution, programmable logic controllers. We have also completed many upgrades in regards to heat tracing, PLC panels built on site, MCC buckets rewired as per drawings. Cable tray installations, bonding & grounding, radar level sensors.

Our last couple of projects over the last 18 months have been to add in power distribution for all our heat tracing in the tank farm. We have replaced our main process plc and added in a remote IO rack in the field, and added in an extra light pole with 4 x 1000 watt fixtures on it, as well as other electrical lighting around the plant to help our operations in the night.
Mel has always considered future requirements when laying out a job for us. It hasn't been just about the present day, but also for expansion in the future that he discusses with us.

He has been fair with his billing, which is another reason he has serviced our site for so long.

Mel has impeccable workmanship and is dedicated to getting the job done, safely and within budget. He has responded to many emergency situations, and has got us up and running quickly, minimizing down-time.

Mel has always been on time with the tasks at hand, and has always met critical time lines.

Mel has extensive knowledge with electrical blue prints and has a unique ability to pick up on any errors or missing information. He always gets clarification prior to project implementation. We recently completed a project where there were some discrepancies on the prints, and if it wasn't for Mel catching these, the project would have come in at a much higher cost.
