What began as a pre-1914 transportation-related display has expanded over the years to include displays of rare collections of early technological developments during the 'horseless carriage' era. Experience the amazement and curiosity of our great-grandparents when they heard the first mechanical music machines, and follow the evolution of inventions of the time. Featured in our transportation display is the 1899 Stanley Steam Car, 1895 Sawyer & Massey Steam Traction Engine and 1878 Penny Farthing, Joining the collection is a Redbird Number 1 bicycle and an E&D bicycle, both rare examples of Canadian manufacture bicycles.

Browse in our recreation of an 1890's General Store and purchase local products or a handcrafted gift as a reminder of your visit.
