Hydroshop

Up until recently I have never had a problem with hydroshop, customer support was always quick and they even sent extra goodies in more expensive orders.

I ESPECIALLY loved their UFO lights. Best I've seen anywhere for that price, (the $150 models they had).
I liked that I was supporting a Canadian company and didn't mind the wait, which was upwards of months for some things.

I am realizing now that their lack of delivery and shitty response time is probably because they've gone out of business. I've been waiting for something for 4 months now and I doubt I'll ever see it, oddly, the other thing I ordered at the same time did eventually show up C: WEIRD. I had to buy local supplies to get my garden going, Spring doesn't wait. Sucks I lost some cash.

But now their site is down, it used to direct you to their support email but they did not reply, now it's just gone completely.

Im sure even thevpositive reviews here were done by hydroshop because they are big big bullshiters and cant tell the truth

Company does not ship the products they advertise, rather a cheap chinese imitation. They then delay posting a refund if you complain and return the items until AFTER the 30 day limit the credit card has for disputes. So I`m out a hundred and fifty bucks. What a bunch of thieves.

I placed my order on Jan 6 and my card was charged on Jan 7. I never received shipping confirmation. I placed repeated phone calls which went to their voicemail, and sent several emails. No response, and the last email I sent came back undeliverable. On Feb 29 I had to go through the painstaking process of initiating a credit card chargeback, which will take another 4-6 weeks. Meanwhile, I am out those funds. I'm very disappointed to say the least.

I placed an order for 6 small items from this site on jan. 18 and it is still in processing on feb 19. I emailed them multiple times and they will never answer. It is just a scam! The site will take your money and never ship you anything. Don't fall into their trap just use Amazon, trust me.

No customer service, as in zero. You call and your immediately into automated response. Leave a message, no response. Email their emails, no response. I eventually received a couple of items, and the rest never arrived. Tried to get a refund and no answer. Heed all the warnings on this site and shop elsewhere. Saving a few bucks isn't worth dealing with these fools.

I ordered $1200. worth of items. My credit card was charged, but no shipping date was given. Nothing. Total silence from these clowns. Emails and phone calls were ignored. After more than 2 weeks of this farce I called my credit card company and reported them. This place is the black hole of internet shopping.

J'ai placer une commande le 23 juillet. Le 31 ma commande n'etais pas encore expédié. J'ai esseyer de contacter l'entreprise a plusieur reprise pour arriver a une boite vocal a chaque fois. J'ai donc decidé d'ouvrir un billet avec PayPal pour venir a bout de recupéré mon argent.

Je n'ai jamais parvenu a communiqué avec l'entreprise.

I bought 3-4 times there, the prices are great and the site is well done. Every time though, I had to chase my orders, they take forever to ship, I'm still waiting on an answer to 2 emails sent on my last order over 2 weeks ago. This is the last time, I'm cancelling and ordering in vancouver... its faster. I received stuff from China in 3 days, this quebec based company has NO excuse. WORST SERVICE EVER

This company is quick to charge a credit card, then all but disappears. Have tried all week to contact them. Should have read reviews before ordering.
My advice, stay away from this company.

They would not respond to emails or phone calls no one will answer the phone.I placed an order and cannot find out anything that's happening to it. they are the worst company I've ever dealt with. Stick to your local grow shops.

I made a order of $3600 on April 17 nothing arrived for over a month so I requested a refund. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service, nobody answers the phone, emails don't get returned for weeks at a time I really felt like it was a very elaborate internet scheme. Finally on June 7th after many many many emails and phone calls I finally received my money back which I'm thankful for, but if you need your products in a timely fashion, or need a large order, absolutely do not use hydro shop.

I placed an order after they announced a sale on their facebook page. 2 weeks later I had sent numerous emails which had all been ignored totally so I tried to cancel my order which they ofcourse carried on ignoring. Eventually they emailed me back and 3 weeks later I finally got a refund. so unless you want your money tied up for a month and to be ignored for weeks on end then I would recommend amazon which carries a good chunk of the items for cheaper and super duper fast shipping. This place has taught me to always email before ordering so at least I got taught a life lesson.

I ordered a product April 14th Nothing came for 3 weeks so I emailed customer service and received no reply. Two days later I called and they said customer service would call me back. They never did. Getting a little frustrated I sent another nastier email. Their response was quick this time. Their answer, we sold you a product we do not have in stock. I asked when I could expect a refund. A week later I still have no answer. Now I'm out money and have to source a product I needed 2 weeks ago elsewhere. Garbage company that needs to learn about customer service. Will never use them again.

This is an awful company with awful customer service. I ordered a product waiting a month they never sent it. Asked for a refund and now they are dodging me. Do yourself a favor and pick another company. They ripped me off for $300.00.

I purchased a complete grow package from these folks and am very satisfied with the outcome. Chester Stockman the customer service rep truly went above and beyond the call of duty with my annoying questions. I will absolutely go out of my way ordering from these guys despite my excellent local shops. Thank you hydroshop.ca team :-)

I spent 1500 dollars on two orders and several items were damaged in shipping due to entirely inadequate packaging. Home-made boxes made from pieces of cardboard and smaller boxes taped together. Zero packing material around items. My 250 dollar Carbon Filter arrived leaking carbon with one end shattered and the carbon pellets falling out of the box every time it shifted. They have offered me a 25 dollar store credit! See the images below.

I've placed a few orders with hydroshop.ca, and shockingly both were shipped within the 3-5 business days stated on the website. See, normally they say it'll be 3-5, but the 27 year old overweight virgin sitting at the other end of the transaction feels it necessary to cater to his gluttony than to ship the package I ordered. I mean, he does have 3-5 business days... right? I'm not just playing around, hydroshop.ca carries the most bad ass slough of growing equipment you've ever seen. You could start with just a bare room used only for keeping your red headed stepchild away from his cute half sister, and with just 1 visit to hydroshop.ca you've got the proper equipment required for cultivating completely professional-grade, commercial quality flowers, growing in that very same room - before you can say "get off your sister, Cletus!" So if you like to pee sitting down, have cried at the movies, or like to put gel in your hair... Then this site probably isn't for you. And you may want to think about a lifestyle change. They deal only in 100% pure unfiltered bad-assery, and their equipment, service, and selection speaks for itself every time. I'll be going back next time I feel like punching a midget, cause this place screams "punch that midget in the face!" Well... Not really but. I think you get the idea. Peace from Vancouver!

I made a purchase, there was problem with the product and the exchanged it no problem. awesome customer service! I will definitely use them again!

I had some concern by ordering online but with the customer service they gave me and the fast shipping (4 days after my order) I will order again from hydroshop. They have a really huge catalog and honest prices.

Although things got off to a bit of a rough start, I was contacted by the folks at Hydroshop and the problems with my order were soon resolved. I was dealt with in a very kind and courteous manner. They are definately on my list of retailers that deserve another chance.

Im a nervous guy when it come to order online, im not really young, so for me, if I don't see the face of the clerk, i'm out of my zone. Last year I had a big accident and Im stuck home,so no choice to order online...Alex from Hydroshop.ca did a fantastic job to help me out finding the right product. The shipping was ok, i have to mention I ordered during the christmas time. Overall hydroshop.ca i give to Hydroshop a 5 stars rating beacause of the service, the big choice of products, the prices and the look of the website. Thank you.

Huge choice of products, alot of shopping option. I pass the last 2 years ordering online in US and other canadian stores and hydroshop is my best. Shipping is ok, not necessarily super fast, but I received my products 5 days after my purchase, so for me it's ok. No dammaged items or bad experience.

I finaly receive it after more than 2 weeks.I writhe discret package whit my paypal payment,and I receive the package today whit Hydroshop marked on the package,my post guy check me whit one smile,this compagny is very stupid,no comunication,bad service.and slow very slow,this shop is like at 45min at my place and 2 week for receive it.sorry for my english..
