The meat food prepared on Saturday was terrible. The steak boiled. No one at the wedding ate their meal and the managerial staff were notified by the groom. Many sent the main course back, hoping for something that could be eaten. They sent more out and all the steaks were just as terrible as the first. I gave up after 5.

We hosted our reception ceremony on May 19, 2024 at RA and the overall experience on the day of the event was amazing. From attention to detail by management to no. of servers and their service as well as bartenders, everything was excellent. The food was great and quantity was sufficient. We had a lot of vendors to coordinate, and management at RA (Stella and Vishi) were able to assist us with everything and manage it completely. Thank you again for hosting us and helping make our day so memorable. Everyone had a good time and only has positive things to say :)

I have waited for a phone call from the manager Diana and after 2 weeks follow-ups and waiting no phone call. I can’t believe after 2 weeks I still have to call and to learned they can’t find my outfits and it is not even in the lost and found area. The customer service rep Isabella didn’t even take my name and number to notify me in case someone finds it!
I wish they would reimburse me at least but I have no doubt someone kept the outfits because they are nice and expensive!!!

Let me start with had the worst experience in my life i have had a lot of good parties and this was the worst ever. I was at a party before my son's wedding and it was not good. the guest of honor had paid for food and did not get it that night so i called the royal ambassador to make sure that this would not happen at my son's wedding and that the food was what we ordered . let ma tell you it was a disaster , the meat stuffed cannelloni were disgusting the meat was like dog food and dry as hell no rose sauce dry dry dry . the meat was not rib steak very tough could not chew it, and the veggies , they gave us half of a small carrot with the asparagus. i can go on with all the wrong things but it aggravates me when i think of all the wrong things the service sucked a guest asked for a coffee and never got it. one of the waiters kept on touching his hair while serving . for the amount of money we paid it was disgusting and embarrassing never ever again . do not go there they will ruin your day.

We held our son's wedding at the Royal Abassador on July 23, 2022. We were very impressed with how smoothly everything ran. The staff was very helpful during the planning and organizing stages of the wedding, with all concerns being addressed quickly and efficiently. We would like to give a special shout-out to Stella and Daisy: they both were very friendly and helpful.
On the wedding day, everything went exactly as planned. The staff was helpful, the food was excellent and the entire venue (the gazebo, the grounds, terrace, ballroom) was simply stunning. Any photo taken anywhere automatically had an amazingly beautiful background- because the entire place is really fairy-tale like in its beauty.
All the guests loved the venue. It was a magical day.

I have been staying at Spring Hill 2 for just a few months, but am happy with the service here. Staff is friendly; nice pool and gym; and a maid comes in 2x's a week to help keep the place clean. Very quiet and safe place to stay that is walking distance to the base, shopping, and lots of restaurants.

We celebrated our sons confirmation yesterday at Royal Ambassador. 3 of our guests unfortunately could not make it. When we asked the staff if we could take their plates to go, we were told they had been thrown out in the garbage. ( I highly doubt that) and they said talk to Daisy. We had a conversation we Daisy about what happened but apparently she told us that they will not send food home because of a food poisoning incident that happened from someone leaving it their car overnight. Anyhow we are out over $300 + and no food. I think I would have felt better having seen the food on plates at the bare minimum. Also we ordered a standard bar and it seemed as that bottles we were able to select from constantly changed. I would recommend covering the bottles that guests don't have access too as it creates confusion from the guests perspective.

Be cautious about is on what is on your contract and make sure you document everything you want in writing before committing.

My husband and I had our wedding yesterday June19, 2021 and it was amazing! Big thank you to Daisy, Diana, Stella and all the staff. Our wedding was moved outside due to COVID restrictions indoors and it could not have worked out better! Daisy, Stella and Diana were incredibly easy to deal with from beginning to end for our wedding, they set up our tent on the terrace where we had a beautiful view of the gardens, the food was excellent, staff was friendly and attentive. Our guests gave lots of great feedback, everyone said the food was excellent and they were stuffed! They couldn't believe how much food there was to eat. We highly recommend hiring The royal Ambassador for your special wedding day!

Paid the banquet for spoiling my wedding day!
Customer service has stooped to a new level in Toronto. A lot of businesses as well as people are suffering from the COVID pandemic. My wedding got cancelled due to the pandemic and a lot of vendors could not refund the deposit. Some of them were upfront and others sneaky. With my money stuck at other venues and vendors, I still decided to have a small 20 people ceremony on October 25th,2020 at Royal Ambassador, Caledon. A well reputed banquet who I simply paid for messing up my wedding day.
I should have guessed their intention from start was just to snatch as much money as possible. It took me several attempts to reach them as soon as the contract was signed. The sales representative Diana assured to provide an exceptional service, but it all went down the drain. The event coordinator Stella ensured presence of 2 service people to take care of the guests and be there herself. I had complained right away about their lack of communication, last minute moving of food tent and last-minute hidden charges which were never mentioned while signing the contract.
The start time was 7 am and I reached the banquet at 8am only to find the place deserted. I ran around in my wedding dress looking for people and found one lady “Chloe” in the kitchen. My family was running around the entire morning to organize things. It took me 15 attempts to get patio heaters – which I was charged extra for to be brought to the gazebo. 3 hours at the venue, Chloe was the only one available and heaters never worked and no beverage served which cost me 1400$
I had to pay money for:
The lakeside gazebo (1800$)- which thankfully was “still there” on the wedding day
The tent and industrial heater (1200$)– location moved just few days before and 5 mins walk away from my ceremony, the pictures were only sent a day before after repeated requests
The tea and coffee service (1400$)– no service people present, no milk, my friends were serving the cold tea and coffee to my guests
The 3 additional patio heaters (525$) – Paid extra and wasn’t present at the start and never worked until 3 hours into the ceremony
My caterer was running around trying to confirm his spot for setup and was informed last minute to setup out in the cold whereas he was assured indoor location. All the delay caused because of there disgusting service lead to delay in the entire timeline. Yet they shamelessly pushed my guests outside while they were having lunch. The only time towards the end of ceremony that 3 people showed up.
On contacting the banquet to refund my money for scamming me and informing them of their awful service, the lady/owner “Daisy” who I saw once at the end of wedding fought back shamelessly defending and spooling bunch of lies that 4 service people were present. Instead of accepting the mess up, she challenged me that I could never prove this happened. I told her I have witnesses, video recordings and call records showing how just one person was present and I never saw her at the venue. Yet, this crooked lady stuck to her lies and refused to accept her business messed up my entire wedding. The stress that a couple has on their most important day was tripled by this awful banquet. It’s my first ever experience with cheaters like them. Her blatant lies to convince me that I was daydreaming about my family friends running around handling the fuck ups they made and did not see these 4 imaginary service people has broken my trust into such corrupt businesses. Stay aware of these scammers and warn anyone planning on hiring them. They ruined my wedding day and all I have is sour memories thanks to them. In these tough times, I thank all my other vendors who held their promises and managed to give me few sweet memories.

We ordered the Easter Dinner #5 during the COVID 19 crisis and were totally impressed. The on-line ordering was simple with wonderful menu choices. Pick up was fast and efficient and most importantly, our Easter dinner feast was incredible. There was more than enough food for the 4 of us and everything was delicious. Thank you for making this unusual Easter a very special event.

As a busy event planner I’ve both planned events and hosted family events over the past 15 years at The Royal Ambassador. I have always had a good experience with them. On event Day; the food is always delicious, the staff are accommodating and they don’t seem to know the word NO. They always find a way to ensure each event is fully staffed and running On Time. From the butler service the moment the couple arrives to the late night stations their long term experienced team of servers just get it! I definitely will keep referring this venue to both clients and family for years to come!

This venue does not honour the technical service agreement with its clients: We were promised to be given access to the projector to present the video we had prepared (with high costs) at the night of the event, the company had promised to send a technician or representative to teach us how it worked and to make sure everything was alright with the projector. Not only a technician was not sent before our event, the projector did not work, and the company representative was not able to help or find anyone to help us. To make the matters worse, when we emailed the royal ambassador requesting a refund, they first said that the owner was on a one-week trip but never got back to us upon a few follow-ups we had. Their failure to honour their own agreement with us (that they would send a technician before the event to ensure the projector worked and to teach us how to use it) as well as their lack of customer service etiquette after the event, makes us believe that we made a mistake in choosing this place as our wedding venue. We do not recommend this place as they will not deliver what they promised in writing to you.

I could not be more pleased with the service and organization at the royal ambassador. We recently had our wedding there and enjoyed every moment. The food was delicious, my guests were pleased and we had an amazing time. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an amazing event Definitely would give it a 5 ⭐️

I just had my event at The Royal Ambassador and it was FANTASTIC! The service and quality I received throughout the entire planning process from the management at Royal Ambassador was exceptional. The food was not only delicious but was beautifully plated with care and the wait staff was amazing. My guests enjoyed the venue space as well as the beautiful scenery and grounds day of. I would highly recommend planning your next event at The Royal Ambassador! 5 STARS!

VERY DISSAPOINTING... my wedding took place O5.18.2019. It has been 3 weeks since the event and no one has bothered to apologize or investigate my concern. Gave very clear instructions for dinner service. My guests were not provided food I paid for, lots of finger pointing. Cutlery was not available during cocktail hour. Items taken to the venue were not returned and went missing. Floor plan was set up incorrectly. Service Staff ignored requests from my guests and did not attend to the tables even after multiple requests were made for items. Was an italian/ east indian wedding. Comments made by floor manager that were discriminatory and lack of accountability and concern. Has left a very bad experience on what should have been a special day. Once R.A get your money they no longer care.

My daughters wedding was spectacular. The venue is stunning even in the snow. The big picture windows are beautiful, it doesn't feel like a typical banquet hall. The whole evening felt like a fairy tale.
The staff was amazing from start to finish. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful.
I would definitely choose the Royal Ambassador again! Job well done. Thank you!

From both Angelo and myself we had an amazing wedding celebration. We were certainly very lucky that the weather held out for our ceremony. We wanted to say thank you to Sonya for allowing us to store so many of our wedding items in her office. We appreciated the time she took out of her busy schedule to explain certain items to us. Daisy, Daniela, and Stella whom helped us during the early phases with the food selection and allowing us to visit the venue on multiple occasions.

As for the day of, all the wait staff were overly kind to us that day from holding our bags, bringing us food to nibble on between photos. And of course everyone we had talked to so far has said nothing but positive things about the food.

Thank you for making our day extra special.

Thank you so much to Royal Ambassador, especially Sonya & our head waitresses Anna and Marie & all the staff that helped us out, for such a phenomenal reception!

My husband and I contacted Royal Ambassador a month away form our reception date and Sonya and everyone were incredibly accommodating and walked us through the whole process so that we would not miss a thing. The whole process was so easy and right off the bat we knew what to expect, and we were not disappointed at all. We were allowed to use one of the bridal suites the day of, and we were able to come in, get ready and take photographs throughout the venue grounds with our photographer. Our head waitress put aside a plate of appetizers for us to try while we were getting ready/before our grand entrance, and we also got a fruit platter and champagne in our suite! We were also able to store valuables in the suite's safe throughout the night, taking that worry out of our minds so that we could enjoy ourselves throughout the evening.

The food was amazing, the grounds of the venue are gorgeous and the staff was incredibly friendly. My husband and I were not able to finish our meals during our reception as we were busy taking photographs and mingling. The staff was kind enough to pack up our meals for us in containers and we definitely enjoyed them later when we got home after the party.

I am so happy we found and chose this venue. Working with Sonya definitely made me feel at ease and at no point was my reception any bit of stress throughout the planning process.

I will definitely keep this venue and their in-house restaurant in mind for any future functions such as baby showers, anniversaries, important birthdays etc. Choosing Royal Ambassador for our reception was definitely the best choice we made.

My husband and I would like to extend a huge thank you to the entire staff at the Royal Ambassador. Sonya was always responsive and took great care of every single detail up to the day. On the evening of, Marie was on the ball with running the show. The food was beyond amazing! Our wedding was at the lakeside Gazebo & Greenhouse Room on the weekend after the huge Ice storm but you wouldn't have thought it with how well the grounds were cleared and perfect for our day!

I cannot stress to anyone planning a wedding, YOU NEED TO GET MARRIED HERE!

My wife and I were married in the gazebo and held our reception in the West Embassy Hall. The outdoor wedding, beautiful landscaping, picturesque photo opportunities, elegant reception hall, delicious food, and warm atmosphere created by the hospitality staff made for a perfect day.

While planning a surprise anniversary party for my wife, I reached out to the Royal and was pleased to learn that they offered a package that met all the requirements. Pricing was on par if not slightly better than the restaurants, and being a hall, infinitely more appropriate for a party. I booked it.

From the time I booked; members of the staff kept in touch with me, fine-tuning details for the event. During one call, I think it became obvious to Sonya that I was running out of time, with several tasks not started. Sonya took up the roll of planner and ensured that the i’s were dotted and the t’s crossed. And I am grateful to her.

From the limo, reception, a wonderful dinner, dancing, friends and family, to the limo home; my wife was all smiles.

Thanks to everyone for making it a truely memorable event for our family.
