We recently had Omega Caulking & Coatings Inc. replace all our exterior caulking, as well as the caulking in our two bathrooms around the bathtub and the shower.

They did excellent quality work, and used high-quality commercial grade caulking.
As well:
- The owner, Rafael was quick to come over to do the estimate and to schedule the work at a day & time suitable to our schedule.
- They showed up on time, were very polite and cleaned up as they went so our home was left tidy.

When I visited my daughter last year in Kanata, she called in this company to do some caulking after getting stiffed by another company. I'd initially attempted to do some of the caulking myself, but found it too hard. They came in and not only gave her caulking on the counter tops, but (after some consultation) in the bathtub as well. I was pleased to see their caulking applied so smoothly, unlike mine. There was one specific area that I did not believe they would be able to caulk because it would require an application of considerable girth, however, being the professionals they are, they were able to fix it. Similarly, there were some tight spots which required caulking - the stand-up shower, for example - which were caulked with ease. One thing I think people discount when it comes to hiring professionals for caulking is that they have the tools to do the job, whereas, while I am rather handy, I cannot be as efficient or as effective with my bare hands. We will be sure to contact Omega for some painting that has to be done in the near-future; meanwhile, the caulking they laid down is sure to provide a large measure of protection against moisture and the penetration of wetness into our fixtures for years to come.

My problem concerned a three-piece corner shower stall. The caulking between the top of the tub and the bottom edge of the glass enclosure was leaking. The owner of Omega Caulking & Coatings, Rafael Quijada, came to the premises to investigate the problem in person. He described the proposed solution, then immediately proceeded to effect the repair himself, very cleanly and with smooth blending into the rest of the caulking. I know how difficult it is to draw flawless caulk beads: Rafael managed to do this in a surprisingly short time. The cost of the repair was quite reasonable, and I was provided with an excellent written warranty. It occurs to me that there was a huge leak at one of my windows after a big rain. I checked outside of my windows and I realize my 10 year old house need re-caulking service right away. I agree with Rjlouis65.I called other local caulking contractors for a quote and you would have convinced me with your beautiful speech if it wasnt by the fact that after asking around a little bit more about your company I found out that your experience is just limited to one year in this field and that you were fired for negligence and other factors like another local business is going to prosecute your company legally because of the fact that you are posting his projects in your portfolio and copyright infringement. Was that a mistake as well from your webmaster???? Is that the way you create an extensive portfolio? Is there anything legit and real in your company?
You made a terrific job to fool other people with all these reviews (probably from family or friends...) Personally I found so many incongruities in your website and suspicious at first look.
