I went into Compass on a Thursday to set a dinner reservation for my friend's birthday the next day Friday. I met the manager Michael and he set the reservation down in a book at the host's stand.
The following day when my friends and I arrived for our reservation, we were seated by the host, who handed out dinner menus and Michael ended up being our server.
Unfortunately, Michael told us the kitchen had closed early because of a slow night and took the dinner menus away and left us with bar menus. This was incredibly upsetting as it defeats the whole purpose of setting a reservation. Why would a restaurant close down its kitchen when there are still reservations for the evening?
Not too mention Michael's service was extremely cold and unfriendly. He almost seemed pissed off that we were there as he was speaking to us with attitude. To be honest, he seemed like a 20-something yr. old spoiled brat. I've never been treated like this at a restaurant...
