Ice Dreams Skating Academy

My girls love it! Instructors are great and approachable. My daughter went from not being able to stand up to skating by herself in two classes using fun games and making learning fun in general. Recommend to kids just learning and those just wanting extra ice time to practice.

My son went to ice dreams this past summer for the first time. He was very nervous to go but after a few days he loved the camp and really bonded with coach Frank who made him feel special. His skating skills improved and his self confidence and self - esteem. He is excited to start winter session hockey.

I read these reviews and decided not listen to them especially after going and checking out the session with my child and speaking to the representatives at Ice Dreams Skating Academy. We signed my child up for March Break Camp and he had a great time. Not only did he enjoy it he has improved his skating skills so much. They were right...the consistency of being on the ice really shows. The coaches were so attentive. They even help put on all the kids equipment safely before they go on the ice. We have now signed him up to continue for the spring season as well as for Summer Camp. You will hear from us once we experience the spring and summer camp. My son started first skate in Ice dreams academy. He loves it so much and improved his skills. He is having fun with friends and instructors. Preferably more safe than a public skating rink.

this year we decided to try the Ice Dream Academy, mainly because it is located conveniently to our house. BAD BAD choice!!!! Our daughter was in pre-competitive figure skating group. The program is not too bad, but the trainer was horrible!!! The entire time trainer just stood besides the wall, drinking coffee or chatting with other trainers, not paying attention to the kids. We complained to the management a few times, couple times our trainer was substituted but then we got her back with the same attitude. Her name is Stephanie, stay away from her!!!

However, i personally think that the other trainers even though they were more attentive to the kids, spent way too much time during not-too-cheap classes on playing vs teaching...

Therefore looks like the management of this school is poor...

So, our advice don't waste your money and time, pick another school.

To be complete though, i have to add - out of entire semester there was only one class that was really good, with substitute teacher. Her name is Natalie, looks like she is the only good teacher in this school.
