BEWARE !!!!!!!!! Based on my experience having an event held at Red Rose this past weekend (Feb 2019) and working with these frauds, I would give this event facility ZERO stars. A negative ten rating. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I will NEVER hold an event with Red Rose again neither do I recommend.

Before I start my lengthy but informative review of Red Rose, I’d like to touch base with regards to the management here. Now, when you are first considering holding a party here, this very cunning and manipulative woman (Manager) will lure you in with lies. And not just one. Several. She’ll assure you that costs will be contained, things can be adjusted and that overall your event will go swell. Well she’s full of sh*t. She intentionally sabotaged our event out of pure bitterness. Let me explain why.

Red Rose doesn’t care about your event. They care about making money. Period. Manager made this clear to us. When we originally gave our deposit to hold the date, things were great. Throughout the planning process however, she became increasingly rude and difficult to work with. She desperately fought for every last dollar she could leech from us. On top of this, she decided to just up and leave the country on a vacation two weeks before our event without any notice.

This is the worst customer service experience I have had in my entire life. I’ve never been so disrespected in all my years. First of all, she is charging us $45 a plate. As if that isn’t already ridiculous compared to the rates of other, much BETTER, NEWER, and RENOVATED halls (feel free to check out Apollo, Spiranza, Payal), she promised us that a $5 cost from each plate would go towards a dessert table. When it came closer to the party date, she tells us we did not pay for a dessert table at all and uses the fine print in the ‘contract’ (she wrote out) to manipulate us. Then, without any prior disclosure on this topic, she slaps on $450 to use two screens in the hall for a 3 minute slideshow. And it doesn’t stop there. To top it all off, on the day of (hour before) our event starts, she calls us YELLING and racks up another $300 over speakers as our DJ needed to use the Red Rose sound system. We confronted her on the last minute costs she was racking up. Not because the money was even an issue, but it is common courtesy to disclose all these things before a client books a hall with you! Everything should have been clearly laid out and explained beforehand! This is blackmail! Absolutely disrespectful. Here's the thing. She had previously said she would, as a ‘courtesy’ on her part allow us to pay for only one screen and use the Red Rose sound system. And YET she went back on her word. Why? Because we confronted her about the excessive charges she was laying on. Oh boy, she was bitter.

Now, onto the day of my event. Just terrible. She gave all of my vendors a tough time including my DJ and my decorator. Claims she needs ‘insurance’ from each decorator. She is a bully. She treats her staff terribly as well and you can see it; they all look miserable. I even paid for hors d'oeuvres and her waiters did literally nothing to serve my guests. She even shut down our bar early, purposely, just because she was angry with us. Food is nothing special either, soggy wet potato patties... and the venue was visibly dirty and unclean from the last event. Utensils looked crusted and filthy. The carpets were not properly vacuumed neither were the tiles polished. Received nothing but complaints about how the washrooms were dirty. And before you go and think she is so ‘nice’, well she talks smack about the clients she had from the night before and how they kept her up late preventing her from sleeping. Excuse me! You are a manager. This is not professional etiquette. Why are you complaining about your own clientele who is paying you $11,000 to hold a 5 hour event at your disgraceful reception hall? The nerve of her. Moldings and paint were chipping all over the venue and overall, it’s just a very very poorly maintained place. She popped in several times during our event, giving everyone rude glares and speaking in a loud disrespectful tone. Everyone noticed her attitude. Oh and. Parking situation is hell. All my guests complained and some parked across the street- had to walk on over in icy negative sixteen degree weather.

My issue here isn’t personal. This hall is just not worth anyone’s consideration, time or money. If you do book here, don’t make the mistake I made. Record everything she says and hold her to her word before she goes back on it. Don’t get tricked how we did. Seek disclose beforehand. Because Red Rose sure won’t provide you with the courtesy of it.

We had a memorable experience at the Golden Anniversary of our parents on August 27th, 2016 at the Champlain Room of the Red Rose Convention Centre . Right from the ambiance in the beautiful, self contained hall, to the fantastic food, the lighting and above all the professional, caring and friendly staff, everything was just awesome and met our expectations.
Neelam was very helpful, detail oriented and went over and beyond from the very beginning to accommodate and cater to all our needs. She was personally present at the event to make sure everything went on smoothly. Our guests were raving about the fun they had and the quality and taste of the food.
Kudos !! to the Neelam and the entire team at Red Rose. Definitely recommend this place to all our family and friends.
Truly a memory we as a family will treasure and cherish over the years.

I had my wedding at Red Rose Convention Centre July 2016 and I can definitely say it is a beautiful venue with great service and wonderful staff who takes care of the clients. The service at this venue was extremely great. From the very first day I booked the venue to the last day I had my wedding, Neelam meticulously worked with me to arrange, advise and organized everything I desired. Neelam is so pleasant and easy to work with and always offers the best to the clients. She was extremely patient and helped to make sure everything go smoothly each step of the way. I appreciate all that she did for me....I am very happy with the food that was served, the standard, taste and quality was excellent, everything was well cooked and there were large portions served to each guest. My guests still talk about how great the food tasted. I can say this is one of the best venues and I would definitely recommend it...Gorgeous Venue, Amazing Staff, Tasty Food, Superb Service.

Our function was a super success thanks to Neelam and the staff at Red Rose! Right from the beginning Neelam was extremely helpful to ensure the success of our function. But most importantly she was very patient with us and dealt with all of our questions and concerns. The function itself was fantastic and all of our guests raved about our event. The food was terrific and the chef even prepared a family dish with a receipe we provided. The bartender did a great job with the drinks and martinis. The staff also did a great job ensuring plentiful food and quick clean up of the tables. Neelam was also working at our function to manage and ensure everything ran smoothly. Overall we had a really good experience with Red Rose from beginning to end and without a doubt I would recommend Neelam and her team to put together a successful event.

our wedding was just this past Friday and I had to put an amazing review up here asap because of our wonderful experience. Néelam was extremely helpful in our event planning and went beyond to help us out with vendors even. she took the extra time and efforts to also work with our families not jusy us and we felt free to drop in or contact her anytime. they went out of their way to create a huge head table for us to be truly culturally sensitive. the food was also very good. the hall itself is beautiful the staff very friendly and the ambiance perfect for weddings especially.

Had my sons frist commuion at red rose on april 16, 2016 and all i have to say is the food was amazing we had a portugues 3 corse meal and then the midnight buffet it was all amazing the food was beyound our expections every guest we had complament our food . The servers were friendly and always making sure we were ok . I look forward to coming back . I would like to thank everyone at red rose for there work and made us feel welcome A big thank u to neelam since day one she was amazing till the event she made sure that everything was perfect . Also something all the guest loved were that they have security on both doors outside so it makes us feel safe to let our children playing knowing that they wont be leaving outside . Thank-you. I had my 2 day wedding event at Red Rose in Sept 2015. Our interactions with Narinder and Neelam were wonderful. The food was great and the staff were friendly. Narinder was available for consolation at all times. Our negotiations with him were very positive. Neelam was very helpful and organized. She was always available to make changes and provide suggestions. The entire experience was very pleasant. I would highly recommend Red Rose for any event!

I just celebrated my 50th Birthday and had the best day of my life, Neelam was fantastic in organizing everything throughout the process. The Hall looked amazing and the staff was on point. Thanks Red Rose for giving me an unforgetable night. I still have my guest calling me and complementing the entire event.

Our daughter had 18th birthday party last Jan. 8 2016, we had a good feedback from all our guest and I want to share this to the staff and event coordinator Neelam. From the venue to food and the staff's service everything were excellent. My daughter had a memorable birthday party. Thank you and keep up the great job.

Thank you to Neelam and the staff. You were very accommodating to our guests and went well beyond our expectations. I have received plenty of compliments of the food, the service and the ambiance of the hall; everyone enjoyed the night and called this one of the best Christmas parties they have been too from our company.

For me personally, I have worked with numerous banquet halls and this by far is the best experience I’ve had. Thank you so much for being so accommodating to my team and to our event. Truly appreciate your work and how you value your customers.

We are very happy with our decision to choose Red Rose Convention Centre for our wedding reception in Oct 2015. The venue is simply beautiful and well kept. They have the most delicious food, efficient bar service, the best dessert table and the most courteous staff. More importantly, it was a pleasure to work with Neelam at Red Rose. She had great suggestions regarding the non-veg menu even though she is a vegetarian! Its been a month past the big day and our guests still talk about how delicious the food was. Kudos to the Chef! Neelam also gelled with our DJ, florist and decorator. On the day of the wedding, she took care of our needs promptly and everything went well without a hiccup including the special presentation with the sparklers by the staff! We suggest that Red Rose be considered a your reception venue and entrust Neelam with all your wedding needs. She will help you achieve your wedding vision! Thank you Red Rose for taking care of us!

We would like to thank Neelam! She helped us create the amazing experience we had at our reception. We appreciated her good advice on many things; from decor to place settings. The hall was beautiful and the food was tastitilicious. We loved the sparkler dessert presentation and consideration from all the staff team...overall, very impressed. We are so glad that we chose to have our wedding reception here. Guests are still telling us that they had a great time.
Definitely a fun night to remember!

My wedding took place here. The hall was booked on the short noticed and just like any bride I was worried about arrangement for my wedding as I really wanted it to be my perfect wedding. I wanted everyone to leave happliy with no complaints.

I would say Neeliam really made my dream come true. Neeliam and her staff took care of each and everything so nicely that everyone who attended my wedding left with great smile on their face.

I will definitely recommend this hall to others who share the same dream as I did.

Thanks a lot Neeliam for everything that you have done for me as it wouldn't be this perfect without you!

My daughters wedding was held at Red Rose Convention Centre, on September 13th, 2015. The wedding hall was booked at a short notice as the wedding was only in 4 weeks. While our whole family was stressing that the time period is too short, the amazing manager, Ms. Neelam was there to help us. From the first phone call I ever made to the hall, to the first time I met her and to the day of the event, she treated our family with great care. As this was one of the first weddings in the family in a long time, we had many questions as to how everything works out and Ms. Neelam was always there to answer the questions as well as Mr. Dharmindar. The food was amazing and all our guests really enjoyed it, the quests were well treated from the waiters and had no complains at all. Even during the event Ms. Neelam was present to help with everything and to make sure the event played out perfect.
All in all, it was the perfect wedding and everything was better than our expectations.

As an event planner for my community, I had to encounter different aspects to make our function successful. By coming to Red Rose Convention Centre; the Management were kind, welcoming, and willing to adjust their schedules to help me and my team make our function a success. They were willing to accommodate our different palette of taste, by altering their menu to fit our needs. Their staff that was on duty, was very helpful. Their in house decor is very grand. I would surely recommend this venue to anybody looking for a place to hold their function.

Pretty terrible service at a relative's wedding I attended last week, particularly from the manager, Nelam, who was very rude, and dismissed simple requests such as an extra chair for a little kid. The staff was also very careless and spilled food on my clothes, followed by an insincere apology. Needless to say, I won't be having my wedding here.

HUGE, Thank You to Rosetta and the staff at Red Rose Convention Centre, for a memorable and amazing job for our son’s 1st Communion. Not only was my son impressed but we’ve had nothing but good feedback from our family and friends that attended. Everything from the Caldo Verde soup, to the mid-night sweet table was fresh and tasted good. The tips and ideas from Rosetta's vast experience made our event even more special. Thank you for staying and greeting us that evening making sure we had everything. We’ll definitely return for our next event!

We just had our annual Christmas luncheon catered by Red Rose Banquet Hall here at Peel police and everything was amazing!
Rosetta was more than generous with the meal Red Rose provided, everyone in our office was blown away with the quality and quantity of food!
Thank you Rosetta, job well done, I will definitely keep you in mind for any person function in the future :0)

My best friend recommended visiting Red rose because of the manager thar is in charge. She told me she takes care of your needs and really listens to what you want. I visited the banquet hall last week and all of my friends praises about Rosetta are true. She is a sweetheart and the main reason why we returned for her service. Its so refreshing to meet with managers like Rosetta who aren't in it for the money. She genuinely wants all her clients happy and promises to take care of you.

Thanks to Rosetta we decided to book Red Rose for our wedding and am looking forward to the time of our lives.

Thank you Rosetta for being who you are and all the hard work you put into your work show. Youre passionate about Red Rose and they are lucky to have you on their team.

On May 11, 2014, I attended a reception at Red Rose Convention Centre and I was very disappointed at what I saw. The bathrooms were filthy and no paper. The buffet had no food in the main serving dishes. The service was lacking - not enough staff and plates were not being removed. My husband went to the bar to get a mix drink and he was given a plastic glass not even an actual glass. When he requested for a proper glass the bartender replied there were none.

About a month ago we had our Saturday Night wedding reception at Red Rose Convention Centre. Overall we are happy with our choice. The family Style (Indian/Italian) dinner was enjoyed by our guest—(one of our guest words “The food kept coming and coming..”). We also had appetizer and a dessert Table. For our 200 guest the Red Rose wanted to provide one bartender-we instead on two.
A few concerns we did have. Leading up to the event---communication problems with Red Rose. I suggest that Red Rose hires an Administrative Assistant –to help coordinator-between the owner, the Managers and the clients.
We paid for projection –yet I am not sure what we paid for? We did have projection access on the day of the wedding, but not any other time. You think you would want access to projection for your dress rehearsal dinner (on a side note, take your dress rehearsal seriously, and pick a DJ that is experienced)
The hall holds up to 400, so for our 200 the hall lacked intimacy —I suggest ensuring you have a strong MC to bring the crowd into focus.
My wife hired an excellent team to do an amazing Stage for us-this stage complimented Red Rose Décor.
Overall our guests were very happy, a lot of them stayed till end—this is a good sign of a good time.
The staff did a great job; we gave the manager a gratuity for you all!

We are happy that we choose Red Rose for our 200 guests wedding reception. Don’t get me wrong, , at times, dealing with Red Rose was patchy, but I learned, when it comes to weddings nothing is smooth.
Red Rose should hire an administrative assistant/intern to assist the owner/ Event Coordinator.
Red Rose charges to use the projection screen—but the only time you are able to do a sound check is the afternoon of your event. If you are paying for this service, I feel you should get more for your money.
I believe the hall holds up to 400 people, I felt for our 200 guest the hall became less intimate, make sure you have a strong MC to pull the crowd back in. On the Dance floor, it may look empty with only some of 200 guests dancing.
For a wedding hall, the food was amazing! Trust me; book this hall for the food, alone, the guest will appreciate you. We insisted on two bartenders for our 200 guest.
Make sure you go over everything a few times with Red Rose-they will deliver, but please review and review some more. and please know what your are looking to do
My wife hired an amazing stage designer. This nice stage added to Red Rose’s nice décor.
Take your dress rehearsal / practice dinner, for you wedding seriously (hence not having access to the projectors-till the day of our wedding is a negative)
Red Rose will take care of everything else.
For the Red Rose staff we provided your event Coordinator with gratuity-in addition to this, we wild like to thank you for providing all our guest with a good and memorable time!

I have one thing to say to ANYONE that is considering booking this hall for their wedding....PLEASE DON'T!!!! First off the reception hall is beautifull I will give them that the decor is perfect but looks alone do NOT make a wedding. The food and the service with servers and the open bar RUINED my godchilds wedding and left the bride and the guests devastated and most guests left well before the wedding was over. Why you ask....let me tell you.
First off the food was the worst I have ever experienced anywhere in my life. Oh the tasting menu they prepared for the bride and groom was perfect sure it was when you are cooking for only 6 people...on the day of the wedding this is what they served us...1) the pasta was red and white pasta meaning rigatonni with red sauce and a canolli filled with ricotta with white sauce. The rigatonni with red sauce was UNDERCOOKED and hard and only lukewarm. The white pasta the canolli came to ALL the tables FREEZING COLD straight from the fridge. Some idiot forgot to warm it up. The sad thing is guests were confused and started to eat it and commented on the fact that this was cold straight through is this a dessert before the meal? When the servers realized the mistake they scrambled to reheat additional cannoli's and send them out. Unbelievable. The veal and chicken were served from a single tray so the lemon sauce of the chicken muddled with the meat sauce on the veal and this dish also was cold along with the roasted potatoes and vegetable. One guest on our table asked if she could have two pieces of chicken since she would not be having the veal or the veggies and potatoes and the server flat out said no she can not have that. The salad was dry and wilted and horribly dressed. The food was so bad people were getting in their cars after the dinner and going down the road to Mcdonalds to grab something in the drive through.
2) Now for the open bar. The reception started at 600pm...by 730 pm the bar could no longer make Ceasars as the bartender informed us that he was out of clamato. At 800pm the same bartender told the mother of the groom that he no longer had orange juice or ANY juice left only the fake cranberry juice was left???? Are you serious??? No juice after 800pm you ran out???? Like you had no one to go buy some juice and come back. Unbelievable and for this garbage food and horrific bar service the bride and groom paid 90 dollars a plate. Unreal. Their wedding was ruined and most of the guests left right after the horrible dinner service.
I pity the poor brides that book this hall for their reception. I hope your day will not be ruined like my god daughters wedding was.
I would not suggest this reception hall for dog's wedding.

My sister and her fiancé had nothing but problems with one " gentleman " mr D. He is tactless
Very un-professional gave my sister and her fiancé the run around
Told them try COULDN'T take pictures in the front
Told them there bar was included ......... UNTIL we met with the fabulous
Rosetta everything se read was garbage basically from this mr d man! However
The amazing professional woman she is got them an amazing deal
Got everything EVERYTHING. Figured out and we will now be having an amazing. Wedding
Thanks to Rosetta thank you thank you for making this day such a blessing for my sister
