I've been looking for a personal trainer lately because I sit behind my desk all day. I mean, yeah, I could use the gym in my building, but I knew if I had a time and place to be along with someone who could motivate me and make it fun, then I knew I would stick with it.

After some searching, I came across Troy from TSquared Training. He really seemed like a good fit and first glance because he focuses on working with people over 40 (I'm over 50) and because he uses Gravity Training - which I wasn't familiar with at first. I also really liked the fact that he's got a more 'private' gym to work from. I knew I wouldn't be walking into some chain like Planet Fitness or something.

Troy started with assessing my fitness levels and getting to know me and my objectives.

Using the Gravity Training machines he has is amazing! It's not your typical gym style machines and made it way more fun. I could feel how it targets specific muscles right aways, and I could tell that this was a more effective way for me to get back into shape and start feeling better overall.

Troy gives you your first session free, which is also why I gave it a try. I now go every Saturday for a personal training session. I'm a few weeks in and already I can feel the difference.

One last criteria I was looking for was a personal trainer in Vancouver that's easy to get to because I don't drive. Troy's gym is just a couple blocks from the Stadium Skytrain Station so It's easy from me to get to.

Thanks Troy for all the help and keeping me motivated. I'll see you Saturday.

I highly recommend Troy as a trainer and the gravity training is a whole different level in the best way!! Troy is both motivating, empathetic and supportive whenever is needed. My first session I was crying because I felt I couldn’t do it, but he helped me to see the potential and I’m so grateful that I didn’t give up, now I’m becoming fitter than I’ve ever been in just 4 sessions.
Now, I go weekly and I look forward to classes with Troy and I’ve got a few friends into it too and we all have such a great time.
As a Physiotherapist, keeping active and encouraging others to do the same is very important to me.
Troy is a gem and I’m so glad I found this class to work on all aspects of my fitness in one. Thank you, Troy, keep doing what you’re doing, this has helped me physically and mentally gain more confidence and I’m proud of how I’m progressing.

I’ve tried every kind of workout out there, and this is hands down one of the best. After taking a long break from fitness due to surgery, I needed a safe, low-impact way to rebuild strength — and T-Squared delivered exactly that.

Tsquared Personal Training very good! I go there for personal training, and trainers make me feel like superman, not just tired bear! They know everything about fitness, even gravity training, like magic! I lift weights, sweat a lot, but also laugh a lot! They make hard work feel like fun game.

Before, my back was sore all the time, but now? No more pain! My daily life is easier, especially when I carry groceries. I feel like champion! Every session, they help me with my plan and even food. Thanks for kicking my butt with your gravaton workout. I have trained thousands of hours in different methods and the gravaton was definitely an effective 30 minutes.
Arms are a bit stiff today.
But, I have to admit that my knee pain is definitely less and I can see biceps appearing. How about that?

Troy is super mean! In fact, I remind him how mean he is every few minutes in my sessions with him!! He will totally take pleasure in your misery under him!

However, plot twist: in just a few months of giving Troy the stink eye and dirty looks (and a lot of blood, sweat and tears), he has helped me become MUCH stronger, gain better balance and feel better physically!

I have never been someone who enjoys working out but Troy has been supportive on my journey. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is intimated by regular gyms. I have never been able to stick to a workout before because they were often not catered to my fitness level and I felt out of place. Troy creates a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, and gets to know you really well. He truly does personalize the whole workout for each of his clients and always challenges and pushes you.

He keeps you motivated and accountable by penalising you for cancelling a workout less than 24 hours in advance so I can never chicken out or get lazy!

I would never admit this to Troy face-to-face, but despite him being mean, I look forward to every workout, especially after a long day at work (Troy, don't get carried away, willing to bribe you to be 10% nicer to me lol).

He leaves me feeling tired but also mentally refreshed. I always leave his classes feeling better about myself.

I’ve been going to Troy’s classes for about a year now, attending both the gravity group sessions and personal training. The group classes give a great workout for everyone and can be tailored to anyone’s fitness level. That along with the personal training have put me in the best shape of my life since high school. Highly recommend Troy if you’re looking for a trainer.

I have been attending Troys class since 2016. I recall my first class…I was nervous because I never used the weight resistance machine before. However, Troy guided me through the class with support, tips, and demonstrations; I was up to speed in no time.
There is a maximum of 4 people per class so lots of attention to technique.

The machine is adjustable on the spot, for lighter or more intense work. I frequently attend with my partner, and we do the same exercises but at our independent levels, so both get a maximum workout for our own strength.

I can view Troys schedule through the app, I opt for reoccurring classes 2 times per week, I have my payment sent as auto-renew, and I simply get an email receipt for each renewal. The app is free and links directly to my work and personal calendar so attending class is an automatic thing, built into my work week. I can also use the app to add a spouse, which means my partner can easily attend using my passes without the need to purchase a package.

There is a cancellation fee for same-day cancellations, I actually love this feature! After a hard day at work, I sometimes struggle with motivation, however, this keeps me accountable and I always leave the class feeling energized, and glad that I went.

There is also full shower and pool/hot tube facilities.

I started seeing Troy 8 months ago after not working out regularly since for years. Since then, I have noticed I feel stronger, have more energy and my fitness has returned. Troy pushes you during your workouts in the best way and makes them enjoyable. I wish I discovered these classes earlier! Overall, I highly recommend this personal training. Thank you Troy!!

I love these classes!
The gravity training is high intensity but low impact. I was suffering from a lower back injury and had trouble with that so many times when doing workouts alone.
That haven't happened since I attend these workouts and my lower back and core are stronger now.
It is also helping a lot with balance and flexibility, it's a full body workout.
I've noticed a huge improvement in my ice skating practices and skiing as well. I feel stronger, balanced.
Yesterday it was the first time in my life I could do 50 push ups. Thank you Troy for encouraging us to push or limits!
