Atrium Banquet & Conference Centre

Our company has had the pleasure of working with Alex and his staff at the Atrium. We witness the real behind the scenes activity ; this company truly does care about their clients and the guests. The food is mouth watering over the top delicious! Having to pop into the kitchen to speak with Chef Lisa, my mouth dropped when I saw the size of the steaks and salmon. No skimping at this establishment.

I remember almost a year ago, I called the Atrium to discuss Riane’s shower. When we first met, I had a lot of ideas, and I told you that the quality and quantity of food was of utmost importance. I was determined to wow my very judgmental, Italian family. You said that you would exceed every one of my expectations. As we all know, the shower was incredible!! It was everything that I wanted for Riane and more. You and your genius chef Johnathan and your staff, (especially Andre) made it an “event” that people are still talking about. Every time I reflect on the shower, I remember something else and smile. We are all still talking about the incredible live cooking stations and those Bellinis! You were right, you exceeded my expectations.

Then I started to worry about the wedding. I’m sure you know by now that I do tend to worry and obsess. I should never have worried, because you and your staff once again exceeded every one of my expectations in so many ways. I’m sorry I ever doubted you. I know that I can never properly thank you and your staff for the whole process from beginning to end, but I will try. You all made my whole family feel like royalty.

Luisa is a treasure. I called, emailed, texted her so many times for so many different things, and she was always so eager, helpful and incredibly supportive. I can never thank her enough for all her help.


On the food tasting day, you, Chef Johnathan and your entire staff made our family feel so incredibly special and important. Thank you!!

On the day of the wedding, Sean, our server, was wonderful. He was always ready to assist us and to make sure our every need was met. I will repeat myself again, you have an amazing staff!! You have surrounded yourself with the most incredible people. And Alex you bring out the best in them all!!

There will never be adequate words to describe the antipasto buffet. Everyone was wowed!! Thank you! It was the antipasto buffet of my dreams!!!! My husband is a man of few words and at times is very hard to impress, but he was awed by the antipasto buffet.

Alex you were right, the meal exceeded every expectation. I don’t think I can adequately express the perfection of the meal. I have never tasted anything like it. I have never eaten anything better. The quality, the quantity far exceeded what I thought could be possible. Once again, I can never thank you and Chef Johnathan enough !!

The guests were floored by the quality of the liquor and beers available at the bar, even the Vos water was a class unto itself. Alex, forgive me for ever doubting you.

I hope that I adequately put my feelings down on paper. The whole process was a little bittersweet. I feel like you and Luisa became a part of my crazy family and I will miss you all terribly.

Thank you Alex. I truly hope that I will have the pleasure to work again with you, Luisa and your amazing staff again one day.

Brooke and I had our ceremony and reception at Atrium on Saturday, May 4, 2013. It was the better part of a year’s planning and it all came to fruition on that wonderful day in May... to perfection.


Brooke and I originally set our date as Saturday, April 27, 2013, but it was not to be. The other banquet center that we originally booked with went under, and all of a sudden we were faced with the shock of lost deposits and no venue. We were actually thinking of just cutting our losses and doing a destination wedding instead of what we originally had in mind... then came a ray of light.


Our first meeting with Alex was in January. We had heard that Atrium was helping out couples that had been affected by the sudden closure of the other venue. Understandably, we were both somewhat skeptical, but at this point we were interested in the offer of help. Right from the start, Alex was compassionate, honest, and straightforward. His offer to help us was both genuine and more than fair... practically unbelievable for both of us sitting there in his office. To make up for what had happened he honoured our deposits and helped us get refunds when possible, and offered us the May 4, 2013 date, a mere week later from our original date. In addition, he gave us time to think about everything and was willing to hold the May 4 date for us. We left the Atrium that day with renewed hope that we could have our special day just the way we had envisioned it all along.


Brooke and I decided to have our wedding and ceremony at Atrium. We had a clear vision of what we wanted, and Alex and his staff realized our vision perfectly. From the very first meeting, Alex took the time to get to know us even inviting our immediate families to sit in on the planning meetings and discussions. He got to know us so well that he often predicted what we wanted or presented us with options that would suit our tastes and preferences. Throughout all the planning meetings Alex showed true class, professionalism, and dedication to our wedding always striving for perfection. His attention to detail is most impressive and his execution flawless. I would challenge anyone reading this to find someone more organized and more driven to achieve excellence than Alex. And these qualities you will also see in his team, namely, Chef, Andre, who was our personal assistant on our day, Keshawn, Scott, and Patrick just to name a few of his highly trained and professional team that helped us to realize our vision.

On the day of, we could tell that our guests were having a fantastic time! We received compliments from everyone for both service and quality of food. From the lavish, beautifully set antipasto buffet, through to our four courses, right to the late night table Alex and his team at Atrium were awesome. Brooke and I would not hesitate, not for a second, to recommend Alex to anyone. Thank you Alex for making our wedding day an amazing experience that Brooke and I will cherish forever. God bless.

Dear Alex, Jackie and the wonderful staff at the Atrium
First of all, we apologize for the lateness of this letter. We were waiting for our pictures to come in. Peter and I were fortunate enough to share our special day at such a wonderful venue, with an amazing staff on Friday, August 24, 2012. The amount of detail and care that went into our day did not go unrecognized and our guests were so thrilled at the quality of service they received. We had so many guests comment on the excellent service, and friendly staff at the Atrium.
Alex, thank you so much for going over every little detail of our evening with us. The décor looked stunning, the food tasted great, and we really felt taken care of. It was nice to be able to enjoy our evening, without having to worry about a thing because your wonderful staff had everything taken care of. Jackie our coordinator for the evening was very approachable, professional, and friendly. We felt very confident she would do a great job for us, and she certainly did!
One of the moments that really stood out for us that evening, was when we had a few of your staff approach us, and comment that our event was one of the best that they had worked for. They commented on the fun and easygoing atmosphere of the night, and that really confirmed to us that we are surrounded by a great group of friends and family. We only wish that the night could have gone on for a longer period of time. We couldn’t believe how quickly it flew by, as we had so much fun!

I know that Kathryn has written you a note of appreciation but I also would like to express my thanks to you and your staff for doing an outstanding job on Saturday evening. You were so right-you went above and beyond my expectations. Everyone was raving about the great food and service. Everything went so smoothly. Please thank Deivy for me too because he was so helpful and on top of things. We have had nothing but positive comments from guests and they had a great time.
Once again, thank you for all that you did to make Kathryn and Justin’s day so special. I am sure that all of our family and friends will be spreading the word that the Atrium is fantastic venue for a wedding or any other lifetime event.

Hi Alex,


Just wanted to quickly say a BIG thank you for a wonderful night on Friday! Pete and I had such a great time, as did our guests, and the night couldn't have gone better.... Well actually, it would have been better if it was longer. We had a wonderful time and didn't want it to end.
