Coworker #1 Chipotle? where is that?
Coworker #2 Yonge and Eglinton, that's where we are going for lunch!
I used to live at Yonge and Eglinton and I've eaten at almost every restaurant in the area. Chipotle is a relatively new, Mexican, sort of a high end-fast food restaurant. It's very clean with a simple design.
Here is what do you..Line up...look at the menu above and choose what you want. I wanted a burrito, I chose the Carnitas (pork, seared, braised for hours then shredded) They also offer chicken (marinated in chipotle adobo, Steak (also marinated in chipotle adobo) Barbacoa (beef braised and shredded) and of course Vegitarian (includes freshly made guacamole and vegitarian black beans)
I added rice, black beans, mild salsa, guacamole with sour cream and cheese. They rolled it, wrapped it up in a thin tinfoil and put it in a basket. I took one look at and said "look at the size of that thing! I can't eat all of that! I took it to a table, sat down, unwrapped the foil and took a bite..WOW! Oh my goodness, I couldn't believe how amazing it tasted.
Keep in mind that I'm not big on spicy food but for those of you who love it, they have a choice of mild, medium, medium hot and hot salsas. They also offer hot sauce that you can add while you are eating, you can bring a bottle of tobasco to your table.
I can't wait to go back! Although, I have to say it was alot to eat, so next time I will ask them for smaller portions of the ingredients. They certainly don't skimp on anything!
