I had Tyler and his crew from HTR install a membrane on my new boathouse in muskoka approx 9 years ago. This spring I noticed mold on the walls inside the boathouse. I found rips in the membrane at every joint of the drip edge they installed. They came out and patched the rips with a color that didn't match the original membrane and when asked about warranty Tyler's remark was he didn't want to talk to me anymore about the issue. I have had 3 structural engineers come out and assess the issue. All 3 stated it is an installation issue. Head office has sent out their guy to check out the install and agreed it was not done correctly. I need the roof plywood removed and replaced , the plywood walls and ceiling have mold on them inside the boathouse that require replacement and the cape cod siding replaced directly below the rips. So far I have not had any response from durdeck head office or HTR to how they intend to repair my boathouse.
