Airport Car Rental Toronto

We had an awesome experience with this company. Grear customer service and polite behaviour of the girl is really to be appreciated. We also got a good discount.would love to contact them again.

This is a terrible company that abandoned us on Prince Edward Island in August 2015!

The Club Wagon we rented had transmission problems (which they didn't tell us), and it ended up breaking down outside Charlottetown, PEI. We drove it all the way from Toronto (thank God it didn't breakdown in the middle of the wilderness).

They said they would drive down an 8 passenger vehicle for us to take back to Toronto and they would stay with the broken Club Wagon until it would be fixed (`1 week). Instead, this company brought down a mini-van (for 7 grown men to travel back in) and demanded we pay the balance of the rental fee (~$2060). We said we would pay once we returned safely home (like what was agreed upon in the signed contract). They refused, took the keys to both vehicles and literally said "FIND YOUR OWN WAY HOME!"

This company is a total joke and stranded us on an island. We had to buy a 1-way flight home ($540) and once we returned back to Toronto, this company had the audacity to bill our credit credit the remaining $2060 balance!!

I'm currently in the process of filing a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario and hopefully will be able to recover the money this company STOLE from us!!

We (7 of us) rented a Ford Club Wagon from these guys and right off the bat I thought it was sketchy which should I of trusted my gut but please read everything I have to say.

First and far most they have no actual business line. Their business line is an iPhone. They don't accept Amex as a form of payment but they swiped the Amex and said they accept the rewards of the card so we could use our insurance which was built into the car felt really sketchy.

We used this rental for a Bachelor Party to travel Eastern Coast, everything worked fine up until we reached nearly the end of our trip we reached Prince Edward Island and the transmission blew due to wear and tare on the car. We took it too a ford dealership in P.E.I. to get is checked out and they said it was a bad transmission through wear and tare and that there was no way that they would recommend we drive this back to our destination (Toronto) We had to wait for a part which wouldn't be able to come for a week. This is where everything when to shit.

We called Buddy's Car rental explained the situation There attitude seemed like they didn't want to help us. But after arguing and arguing they agreed to grab another another 8 seater van and drive it straight though to P.E.I. we would swap cars and they would wait in P.E.I.

Now keep in mind we are here for a Bachelor party my friend was getting married soon and he had to be in Toronto on the Monday to pick up is marriage license for his wedding which was a week away and it had to be picked up on the Monday at anytime but he had to be there. So as these 2 guys drove towards P.E.I. we were on the phone with the Girl at Buddy's Car rental to get updates on ETA because if they weren't here by a certain time my friend would have to fly back to Toronto for Monday at this point it is Sunday.

The girl demanded that when Buddy's Car Rental got here we would have to pay remaining balance of the contract in full in "CASH". We argued because the contract says that Everything must be paid in full to the destination of where the vehicle was picked up. Our last few days got ruined because these guys didn't maintain their car properly. On top of this they were coming with 2 people they wanted one of them to come back in the van with us while the other guy waited for this car to get fixed. There was 7 of us plus all our stuff didn't see how this was going to work out.

A lot of the times the girl had to call us back cause she had to talk to her "head office" FYI this is a Husband and Wife company. The girl on the phone was the Wife and her husband was one of the guys that was driving to P.E.I. to save us. Long story short after waiting and waiting the whole day in a ford dealer ship parking lot there ETA was 2pm they didn't arrive until 7pm and our friend had to fly home cause there was no way he was going to make it ($550 Flight) They arrived demanded we pay everything in cash we refused because that is not what the contract says! and we are stranded they took out keys to check out the car. Now even though our contract says we pay everything in full on our return we were willing to negotiate but they had to do stuff for us. They didn't want to cover my friends flight, our lost of Sunday which we were supposed to be in Montreal to finish this party up. They refused to do anything for us give us anything off nothing. Oh and These morons accused us of cancelling the credit card upon their arrival which we never did when they arrived. They arrived in a 7 Seat van when it was supposed to be 8

Buddy's Car rental's professionalism at dealing with this situation was an absolutely disgrace. These dicks left us stranded in the parking. They left us. THEY LEFT US! we were stranded in the parking lot with all our stuff! We had to fly home ($540 X 6 ) We all lost 2 days off work because of this absolute disgrace of a company. I have attached pictures of us stranded and the guy in the car who left us. At night we were surrounded by 2 maybe 3 foxes that kept surrounding us at night. These guys ruined our trip and had the nerve to charge the credit card without us being back home! And if they could of charged our card why they demand the we pay everything in CASH? Screw these guys *****DON'T RENT FROM BUDDY'S CAR RENTAL!!!****

Honestly Pay the extra money and go with a big rental company like E-enterprise. When it comes to a car rental make sure its a trust worthy company. We went through this so you don't have to so please take this review seriously. If I could level a ZERO for a review I would but I can't!

Oh and right after this all went down when I went on their website they added "24 HR. INSURANCE
REPLACEMENT SPECIALIST"
