Dr Spence and the staff at IVAH are AMAZING! I have dealt with a lot of vets over the years and no one compares to the knowledge, compassion and fair prices at this clinic. My pets love going to the vet and receive the best of care.

Erin Spence is a great vet! I was thrilled with the service I received at Islington Village Animal Hospital. My cat has had eye issues for the past two years and I could not get a proper diagnosis. Finally, he was properly diagnosed with an eye condition called entropian. The vet that diagnosed him told me that I would need to take him to a specialist to get the surgery required. I called various vets all over the city and most would not even give me a ballpark figure on how much the surgery would cost unless I took my cat in for a consultation. Obviously, I was not willing to put my cat through that kind of stress and from a financial standpoint that was not a good option for me either. Dr Spence was willing to give an estimate over the phone which was thousands of dollars less than a specialist was going to charge.

I took my cat for the consultation with Dr Spence and she assured me that though she had not done this procedure extensively she was confident that it was a straight forward procedure that she could perform. She was very gentle with my cat and thoroughly answered all my questions. The surgery went perfectly and my cat's eyes look fantastic post operation. After she performed the surgery, she called me to let me know how everything went. A few days later I received a welcome letter from the clinic.

I have to say, I have seen many vets in this city and I was really starting to wonder if they all just jacked you for every test and procedure possible. I feel so fortunate to have found this vet because I think first and foremost she cares about the animals. I haven't been working steadily in the past few years so finances are tight. It was such a relief to find an honest vet that offers great care and affordable prices. You will not regret taking your animal to Dr Spence.

Dr. Spence is a great vet. Both my pet and I always felt very comfortable and relaxed dealing with Erin. She really listened to my opinions and worries, and was able to explain everything very clearly to alleviate them! I'm so grateful for her compassion and kindness!

Dr. Spence is a very talented and professional Veterinarian. She provides excellent care for the animals in her care and for a very reasonable price. She is the first to avoid unnecessary and costly tests that other Vets might charge their clients for. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking veterinary services.
