Thank you Subaru of MUSKOKA for providing us with our new Subaru! We first visited Barrie Subaru to look at a few vehicles at their location that we had seen online . When we arrived there were no sales people available to talk to us so the receptionist took our phone number and assured us that someone would call us as soon as they were free. We decided to shop around in the general area and wait for the phone call. After a couple hours we returned to the shop because we had not been contacted by anyone. We were told that our phone number had been forwarded to a sales person and instead of trying to set us up with someone else who wasn’t busy, they told us we must wait for them to contact us. NOBODY called. So, thank you again Subaru of Muskoka for being helpful and actually being there at all to help us! We love our new car! If you want good service or ANY service, do not waste your time going to Barrie Subaru. Go elsewhere!
Thank you for your spur of the moment service on the afternoon of.May 28 when the shop was already very busy. A small body mishap was remedied when I brought the Crosstrek in. Given a minor servicing was due within a month, it was.performed while the car was in the shop!

I bought a used vehicle from Jason in January. I was new to Subaru's and he was very knowledgeable. Jason was so patient with me as I decided which of the available cars I wanted. When I chose and then changed my mind the next day he was very understanding. He truly wanted me to be happy with my decision. He took the time to go over the different options with me.
When I came to pick up my vehicle he took the time on a very cold day to go over my vehicle with me and even set up my radio!
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a Subaru.

Buying a car from Jason was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I called and asked for the newest salesman on the team. I was transferred to Jason. That was on Tuesday, asked if I could come pick up car the NEXT day. Jason made it happen. If you need a car call him, you will be glad you did. He messaged me the next day and said it was a pleasure to meet me and hoped I was enjoying my new car. Without a doubt yes. A beautiful Orange WRX. This car, Jason and the girls in the office are wonderful. Thank you everyone at Barrie Subaru. Keep doing what you’re doing. 🙂

I took my car in for service that should have been covered by warranty. When it wasn't, I was transferred to Fixed Operations manager Crispin Hudson to discuss, who answered the phone with 'What the hell do you want?' and when he realized I was a customer pretended that he couldn't hear me and hung up. He was extremely rude, and has refused to return numerous phone calls since then. Dealer manager Rick Greenside also did not respond to phone calls and voice mail. This even after I contacted Subaru Canada, and they sent emails to the dealership. Clearly customer service is not a priority at Barrie Subaru.
Ian in sales and Melissa in finance were both amazing at Barrie Subaru to deal with from the very first phone call. Exceptional service and exceptional humans. Everything was personalized, explained clearly, and they took a lot of time to ensure that I was happy with my choice to lease a Subaru, and made the process very easy for me. I highly recommend this dealership, because it felt honest and authentic, no pressure, just customer centered service!
On a very cold morning this week, Steve Mason, Parts Counter, Barrie Subaru helped us out immensely. We ordered new wipers for pick-up for our 2009 Tribeca. Steve was kind enough to put them on for us so we could drive away with great visibility. Thank you Steve for going the extra mile.

My family has owned 4 Subarus' in the last 10 years, the most recent 2 purchased from Barrie Subaru, my daughter purchased in late November '20, a gently used '18 Crosstrek-both purchases were successfully assisted by Kevin Fletcher-sales-whom we would highly recommend! It turns out there were a few minor issues with the vehicle-our concerns were brought to the attention of Christian Prost-Sales Mgr. which required 2 additional visits to Barrie Subaru- we were treated extremely well, the issues were clearly reviewed, the remediation plan explained, we were keep advised regularly on work progress, loaner vehicles offered, the work was completed in a very professional, timely fashion. All of this was quarterbacked by Cristian, to whom we are very grateful-Barrie Subaru, you have a quality employee in Cristian, and my family as customers for life!

I had an issue with my 2016 Outback- it was concerning the audio system. Joseph and Chelsea were very helpful and got my car in on the day that I called. they addressed the problem promptly- it was very much appreciated! thank you Barrie Subaru service team!

I just bought a Forester and was very pleased with Michelle's knowledge and expertise with the vehicle. From first stepping inside the dealership to picking up the new vehicle was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and made this experience special. If intetested in a subaru I would recommend Barrie Subaru in Innisfil - ask for Michelle!

While in the market for a new to me used vehicle I visited several dealerships in the Barrie area & arrived at Barrie Subaru without an appointment. I was made to feel welcome immediately. Sales consultant Kevin Fletcher is amazing! He listened to my budget figure and my list of "wants" and while I did have a couple of make/models on my wish list, none of them were a Subaru. Their used lot didn't have any of my wish list vehicles in stock but Kevin offered to show me a different model vehicle that he felt hit my wish list points, and was under my budget. (Many of the other dealerships I visited had just ended our conversation after telling me my preferred vehicles were not in stock, or tried to up sell me to a new vehicle on their lot). Kevin showed me his recommendation, pointed out some of the upgrades and features and answered all my questions. He allowed me to explore the vehicle without pressure and we made a deal! I am really happy with this vehicle! I am a firm believer in extended warranties on used vehicles and Kevin introduced me to the financial manager Steve Gray. He too listened to my preferences for the type of warranty that I wanted and provided me three different price point options. He was happy to answer all my questions and was a pleasure to deal with. Whether you are in the market for a New or Used Subaru or are shopping for a different used vehicle I highly recommend this dealership!
I'm losing count of how many cars we purchased at BARRIE SUBARU. Sales Department is always excellent, every time.
This is the story of my experience with Barrie Subaru:
I decided on a Subaru Impreza but noticed it had an airbag sensor issue, which I told them about and they seemed to brush off and said it would be looked at (their dismissive attitude to this issue should have been my first red flag to walk away). I bought the vehicle on November 22, they said my vehicle would be ready to pick up that Saturday November 25th. On November 24th they text me at night to indicate there were actually air bag sensor issues and that my car would not be ready until next week. I requested a rental car, and they gave me one.
The following Saturday I went and picked up my car. I was very excited and happy as it was my first big purchase. I drove the car home and once I parked it in my driveway I noticed first that the car was horribly detailed and had stains all over the back, and then noticed the front bumper was cracked, and it had a large scrape of yellow paint down the side as if someone hit it against a curb. I texted my salesperson Luke and he said bring the car in Monday and we will see what we can do to fix things. I brought the car to the dealership, and upon looking at the car Luke stated that those damages were not on the car, and that he would have never sold me a car with those damages and that someone in their service and detailing department was being looked into about the damages sustained to my car, in their possession!
I informed them I no longer wanted that car as those damages were not on the car when I bought it, and I now had no idea what had happened to the car.
Dave Morrison the used car sales manager was very unprofessional and less than helpful when dealing with the situation, and very dismissive towards my Mother and I. He said he would "see what they could do to make me happy" "but could make no guarantee" and that I would hear from them in a day or two, and they would give me a rental car in the meantime.
First of all I did not hear from them for 3 days, and was becoming concerned with their overall attitude towards fixing my car. They then text me after 3 days and said "the rust on your car has been fix, we have redetailed the car and you can come get the car". At this point I was beyond frustrated and contacted legal counsel, as they were now ignoring that someone at their dealership had damaged my car. My lawyer contacted Dave and he had a very careless attitude about the whole situation, and even went on to tell my lawyer " the damages were on the car when she bought it and we aren't fixing them". This statement was far from the truth as I had pictures of the car the day I purchased it which show that these damages were not there. When told we had pictures of the car previously without the damages Dave stated "that they had asked to see the pictures and I refused" which was never the case, as up until that point they had no idea I even had pictures of the car predamages, and were stating I had bought it in that condition. Dave did a lot of back peddling, and gave my lawyer the run around by avoiding phone calls, and emails, and then had Luke texting me stating I needed to return the rental car as they had people interested in purchasing it. All the while still refusing to address what was going to be done to fix my car!
Finally after my lawyer sent them the pictures Dave said "their manager had given them permission to fix the damages" and they fixed the damages to the car. I purchased my car on November 22nd, and finally after fighting with the Barrie Subaru dealership for weeks had the car in my possession on December 16th.
Overall my experience with Barrie Subaru was horrific, and I would never recommend anyone buy a car from them. They are dishonest, dismissive, and do not have their customers best interest in mind. I am very disgusted that I had to seek legal counsel for their dealership to acknowledge the damages their employees inflicted on my car, and equally disgusted that they think that lying to a customer is acceptable. Barrie Subaru and Dave Morrison took an experience that was supposed to be exciting and happy and turned it into an utter nightmare for me. I am now left with a car I do not want, and a car that I have no idea what they actually did to it as they refused to disclose what actually happened to my car at their dealership. I will never buy another Subaru in my life because of the way I was treated by Barrie Subaru

Your dealership lied and tried to imply that I had bought the car with those damages, and said they were not going to fix them. I would not call someone having to seek legal counsel going to great lengths to make things right. That is also not owning up to it, or admitting that someone at your dealership inflicted the damages even though your own employees admitted that was the case. I am not "frustrated" I am disgusted by how I was treated by your dealership, and will continue to let everyone know about it.

We are always disappointed when a customer is not completely satisfied with their purchase and in your case, we do feel that we have gone to great lengths to make things right. Upon delivery, your vehicle was not detailed properly. We completely owned up to that and provided you a loaner while we made this right. As for the damages on the car, both issues were minor and have been repaired at no cost to you regardless of when the damages to the vehicle may have occurred. We know that the last few weeks for you have been frustrating but we sincerely hope you enjoy your Subaru for many years.
