I have been at this laundry mat 3 times when it open. Each time the floors are dirty, the machines are not wiped down, empty containers and garbage are on machines and the tables. GROSS!. I won;t be going back. This is not the best laundromat in Winnipeg but one the dirtiest

Man, so easy to spot a fake review. What axe do you have to grind with this fine establishment? Are you maybe one of the angry god squad types who hates the fact that the owner is politically progressive and non-prejudiced? Or maybe you are one of the racist jerks he has not tolerated at his establishment.

Either way your review is not even close to the truth. If you only knew what a germophobe the owner is....he makes Howard Hughes look like a slob.

BTW, learn how to write sentences properly and spell, otherwise you also come across looking like a dunce.

Obviously, you've never set foot in the place.

I concur with all the previous reviews. He is so very nice, polite and friendly. He is always there so therefore I feel safe. There is a laundromat in West Kildonan where half the time no one is there and the machines keep breaking down. When I go here I am out in less than an hour. I have a home and am debating whether I will buy more cheaply made machines. Another offer is seniors get a discount....you get another discount if you come before noon Monday to Friday. There are copies of the Metro on hand to read plus a t.v. At this laundromat I feel appreciated for using his services unlike other laundromats.

We frequently use The Washeteria. This Laundromat is the best in the city! It has a fantastic 8-load washer that completes in 20 min. There are 6-load and regular load washing machines as well. The dryers are large and have excellent heat. There are convenient large carts to transport your laundry to the dryers. The folding tables are a good height, which is great too. Never any worries for parking and, it is clean and safe. I have arthritis and this has made a painful chore easy and fast. The owner is wonderful and helpful to speak with as well as suggesting what would be your best option of machines to use. This is by far the best and affordable Laundromat in Winnipeg and is definitely worth the drive!!!

Seriously if you have never been here before, the Washeteria is the cat's meow of all the laundromats in the city. As already mentioned it is clean, affordable, quick and hassle free.
Not to mention bright, stylish and the owner has excellent customer service skills.
I have nothing bad to say about the place.
Laundry is done in one hour !!

Traveling through Canada in June and July, I've stopped by some beautiful places in your country. But i've never visited a laundrette as beautiful as your Washeteria in Winnipeg, Manitoba. What surprised me is how quiet it was when I visited, considering how marvellous this laundrette is. Large capacities, very clean, very friendly. Winnipeg, you truly have (from my experience) the best Laundrette in Canada.

Thus is the best laundromat to go to, because prices are good (I did ten loads for under 20$, and everything was dry!), they have front loaders, which get clothes cleaner, the place is very clean, the guy who runs it is super helpful and friendly, there is free wifi, there are free papers, and it's right next to a 711. I could go on, but you get the picture. Oh yeah, it's air conditioned too!!

This is the best laundromat I have ever been to. The fastest, cleanest and most comfortable and well-lit safe place, unlike some other ones in Winnipeg. It is also the only "carded" laundromat where you fill you're wash card with as much or as little cash that you need. If you don't want the card, the guy just turns your machine on and you pay him afterwards, so basically no more handfuls of change.

It's also true that you could do you're laundry (wash and dry) in one hour. The washers take 20 minutes and the dryers take about a half-hour to dry. I'm only giving the place 4 1/2 stars out of 5, is because it doesn't have a debt machine. Why not, in this day and age?

Other than that, this the best, yet unknown (therefore underrated) laundromat that Winnipeg has to offer.

This place is amazing! I've never seen an 8 load washing machine before. Super cool and ultra clean. The walls have that "Partridge Family bus" 60's Theme and the floor is glossy red.
I got all my laundry done in 1 hour. It blew my mind. Other laundromats in this town are just holes in the ground compared to this one. they should all take a page from the Washeteria.
