If I could give a 0 I would but .5 is the best I could give. Currently in the esthetics program. DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL!!! There is no professionalism at all in this school. You're waiting a very long time for your kits and products. The spa is a joke in this school. All they care about is money. Everyone in my program is hating it and we ended up getting a new teacher a few months ago. She is nightmare and all she does is complain about unfair it was for her to go to Seneca for 3 years while we're in the program for 10 months. She is very unprofessional, always on her phone, talking to family, friends during class and doing video calls. She has yelled at her employees at her other job during class. She pretends to be all friendly and bullies most of the students. She does her very best to act as if she's a good teacher so the director isn't giving her a hard time. She is barely even a esthetician herself as she just came out of the program at Seneca in 2021 and was on maternity for a year in 2022. She has made several students cry and most won't even admit it but we all complain amongst each other. Just please anybody who wants to go into beauty, go to an actual beauty school, which was what I should have done because after I am done being in at this school, I'm going to have to pay more money to do other courses that this school doesn't even offer at all. It is a waste of time. You will not learn, nail extensions, you will not learn how to use proper medical esthetics machines like body cavitation, intense light therapy, etc. It is a waste of time. You have cheap and rude clients come in and most of them are no shows during the clinic/spa hours. You don't even need a diploma to be an esthetician just find something you like and do a 3-4 day course and go from there. Do not spend 13000-14000 plus extra for this program!!! Also, the kit is so trash, cheap and lousy products.

This is the worst school you could possibly go to. I took the MLAT course. Staff doesn’t care about anything but getting your money. Students pay $2000 for “supplies” in the lab that were all expired. Venipuncture tubes were expired therefore wouldn’t produce a proper draw of blood that the teachers just mark off as a “successful venipuncture” even though you had no idea if you were completing it properly. The ECG’s were a total write off, the sticky pads were waaaaay expired, goopy and disgusting. When these concerns were brought up to the teacher she just pushed it off like it was normal to have these issues- even though we paid thousands of dollars to be trained PROPERLY. Teachers made fun of students behind their back to the entire class. Although my teacher did seem like she genuinely wanted us to succeed, the school and higher staff couldn’t care less. When it came time to take our final certification (that we paid for out of pocket) the majority of the questions weren’t what we learned. The student with the highest grades in my class couldn’t even pass because we weren’t taught the material. This school is nothing but a money grab and no one gives an actual shit about you. I had issues with my OSAP being put on a “hold” because placement was pushed off due to COVID, the financial aid told me not to worry- they had contacted NSLC to inform them. So I believed her. Then came to realize that wasn’t the case, and had them take money out of my account without my knowledge and somehow missed a payment which resulted in a negative impact on my credit rating. When this was brought up to said financial aid, there was literally no action taken. Take your money elsewhere to a college that actually has the proper funding for supplies that will benefit your knowledge and future. Complete waste of time and money.

If you ask me just only one positive thing or name in IODA i would say "Shahana Begum", the instructor of IODA.She is the one of combination of all good things there.she is a very good teacher, excellent teaching capacity, excellent Counselor for the students, good human being, enthusiastic, and very much dedicated for the students as well as the department. I do appreciate her.I would say, we are lucky to have her as our instructor, Oxford College is lucky as well.

Overall It's a disappointment. The school doesn't show lots care and customer services to most students. We all have the same feelings. There is no textbooks and study material. The printing system eating money and doesn't show printing balance in account, instead, school said there is no more money in account, but for sure there is money. There is no IT for this school, its always ends up there is no one can fix the computer or printer, ridiculous!

Dental studying instruments or model is not enough or updates for students to study. Time is too rush to learn everything!

The only thing I have to talk are these two teachers: Bill Smith and Pauline Villary. Bill is no longer teaching in this school now. These two teachers are very responsible for students. They love teaching and are very passionate about teaching. They care about their students, they teach with their heart and have a very good work attitude. They work hard and they are very knowledgeable about what they are teaching. I am very happy about these two teacher only. Not others teachers!

I'm currently enrolled in the the paramedic program. I have number of classmates with mental health issues. The school has virtually no screening process and lets anybody with cash enroll. Even students who are mentally well are constantly challenging instructors and arguing with faculty. It's a difficulty environment to learn in. When people are rejected from real schools, they apply here and get in. Please, take my advice and go to a normal school.

DO NOT COME HERE! I was recommended by a friend to take the esthetics course here and was I ever stupid for blowing so much money on a bad experience..95% of the people who work there shouldnt considering alot of them are not qualified. They are money hungry and really do not care about their students at all! My teacher was very two faced, unprofessional and talked alot of smack behind all of her students backs and preached she was "positive" when she was not.She also was lazy and didnt know how to teach. Even though I have graduated I still do not feel qualified yet to start working in the esthetics field. Please do not waste your time with this school.. It is all about money and we had to wait soo long for new products to arrive it waa ridiculous!!

I graduated form this school with honors. Heed my warning. As this is a private college, their main priority is making money. They are a business first and they run their programs in the according fashion. Extremely overpriced when compared to legitimate colleges, especially considering what you actually get. They strive to meet the bare minimum of the standards set out in the Ontario Private Colleges Act. When it comes to their Primary Care Paramedic Program, they do not hold Canadian Medical Association (CMA) accreditation. This means that graduating students are not eligible to continue their education into the Advanced Care Paramedic Program at other colleges because their education is not recognized - a fact that is conveniently left out by the "school" and it's recruiters. In addition, it is extremely disorganized, suffers from a noticeable lack of adequate staffing, and run by inept administration. Would highly recommend going elsewhere and if I could give less than one star, I would.

as a student here at oxford, i am telling you DONT come to this college. Everything is VERY un organized, 90% of the "teachers" aren't even teachers, they don't know how to teach at all and are VERY rude. I have seen teachers make multiple students cry for absolutely nothing, they do not help you feel good about your work and efforts at all. No-one is happy to be there. The school is also extremely cheap when it comes to spending money on equipment and resources. I wish i would have read the reviews about the Dental Hygiene program before i tied myself into Oxford colleges mess.

After reading all of these reviews , I'll wish that I would have before I came here. All of these comments are absolutely true. Save yourself the harm and do not go to Oxford. I am also in the dental hygiene program and it is so unorganized , teachers are rude and shouldn't even be teachers, and the overall school is just terrible. If I could give zero stars I would.

Here is my review of Oxford and the dental hygiene program.. So first off once you start you are informed of extra costs that you will have to pay on top of the over 30k tuition such as your scrubs (2-3 pairs), lab coat, instrument box, patient mirror, glasses, etc, gloves and masks once you reach 3d and 4th semester. Next are the classes. I am going to honestly say that out of all of the teachers that I have had in my semesters so far, only 1 actually knew what he was teaching, wanted to make sure you learn, and knew how to answer your questions without giving you a snobby answer like you are dumb. For the rest of the teachers, they absolutely should not be teachers. They answer you like you are dumb, fly through the lectures so fast you don't know what's going on-even if you ask them to slow down they will say they need to get done fast. They do not know how to answer qustions because they don't even know what the are teaching. We are tested one day, and don't receive our test marks back for weeks so by the time you get your mark, you can't remember what was even on the test (you aren't able to see the test) For one science class particularly, the teacher reads directly off the slides like all of the other teachers, but her slides are directly copyed and pasted from the Internet in very hard to understand information instead of a simple straight forward statement. When it comes to the test, she will put a ridiculous amount of LONG lectures on the 20 question test so it is impossible to keep up with actually taking the time to learn the lectures. We will ask her if she could give us a bit of a break down of the test and she will say to know everything. Than we do the test and it's only from 2 of the lectures. Next is clinic. Clinic ties in with DH theory. The problem is that our theory teacher quit and knew she was quitting for a while so it's like she gave up. So we were basically teaching ourselves for clinic. The teachers in clinic are extremely rude. still treat you like you are dumb if you ask questions, I was even told we aren't soposed to ask questions.(they forget that we have almost no knowledge because of the theory class disaster.) I am extremely nervous about getting real clients next semeter because I feel not prepared at all, and obviously I'll get in trouble because I won't know what to do. Next is the schedule. This school is EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED. At the beginning of the semesters we are given a class/test schedule. This schedule changes MULTIPLE times, tests change to the point of finding out that we have a test or midterm in 3 days. It has happened a few times now that teachers don't even show up to class, so we will be sitting there for 1.5 hours waiting until we are informed the teacher isn't coming. Than of corse we have to have make up classes in our already super hectic schedule. There is 1 month left untill semester change and we still don't have a set in stone schedule for midterms and finals.. After all is said and done, I strongly recommend that you DONT attend Oxford College. Take the time to review other schools. School is stressful yes, but you should enjoy it. You will not enjoy Oxford.

I supplied textbooks to this college and they have refused to pay for them (after they were delivered upon good faith of payment). As a small business, this hurts our business. After suspending, and then cancelling their account with us, they now refuse to communicate with us completely. Please be very cautious with this school. They seem to steal from both students and suppliers.

I am an Oxford college victim too! There are a lot of manipulation with the marks. Each exam costs 250 CAD. Exams are every week. A lot of people paid extra money to retake exams. Students never learn why they fail. Teacher is not professional. Doesn't know subjects. There are a lot of useless subjects in the course. Students are treated as a slaves.
Placements doesn't lead to employment. Only few students, female, Canadian degree holders are offered something. This program is a deception for the International Medical Graduate immigrants.

Hello,

I suffered in the Clinical Research Program in 2014. I have never seen such a primitive game which cost me so much money and time. Manipulation with marks is major source of income for the college. I thought it was only on Clinical Research Program, but after reading reviews below, I realized that it is a school culture!

"Professor" Nicholas Herten-Greaven- founder of the program and the only "teacher" treats students as slaves. He doesn't know the subjects he is teaching, but manipulates with the marks as super professional!
He reads fluently from the books and handouts. Kudos!

And now I have to admit that I am STUPID! Because I was there.

I went to Oxford Dental College for a cleaning in Aptil 2015. The hygienist spent an hour with paperwork and a health questionnaire. I was refused service and told a Dr. medical release was required to get my teeth cleaned. I was refused service because of a 14 year old medical treatment. I assume many others are treated the same. I have a mediation meeting tomorrow with the Ontario Human Rights Commission. I question the knowledge of the instructors.

The college program is comprehensive. I took the course and during my placement got a job offer. Many of the students in the course are also working in the clinical research field. I have my foot in the door as a medical doctor I know how hard it was to just get in to the hospital environment. I am working as a coordinator and writing publications as well.

I THINK ITS UPTO AN INDIVIDUAL TO MAKE THE MOST OF A LEARNING EXPERIENCE. I STUDIED THERE AND IT GAVE ME A FOOT THROUGH THE DOOR. I ACTUALLY GOT A JOB WHILE I WAS ON PLACEMENT. IT PREPARED ME WELL FOR THE WORK ENVIRONMENT. I DO AGREE THAT SOME OF THE SUBJECTS NEED TO BE TWEAKED AND UPDATED. BUT OVER ALL A GOOD PROGRAM.

This is a Review of the Dental Hygiene Program:

- Their curriculum is a joke - they teach you like you're a small child
- Teachers are not qualified for what they teach ... basically the friends and family of the ppl who own the school were given these jobs.
- Teachers have zero knowledge - you ask them questions and they are unable to answer.
- Teachers behave like children and openly disrespect you and have bias against you if you question them about things.
- Admin doesn't give a damn about students - especially that bug-eyed woman who just wanders around and does nothing - she is a family member of the guy who owns the place which explains how such a retard got this job.
- They don't even have supplies like batteries for pointers/clocks or paper for printers!!!
- The wifi never works - it's the year 2016 and they have no wifi
- The library is the size of my bedroom lolllll

This place is a complete and total joke, run my idiots.

Its up to an individual how you make the most of a learning experience. I graduated as a CRA, completed my placement at the hospital of my choice and had an amazing learning experience and actually got hired even before my placement finished. Its very hard to get into the system here and the college actually gives you a foot in the door. Some of the subjects in the CRA do need a little work but all in all. I cannot down grade the school. The staff have always been very helpful and nice.
