If I had to sum up our moving experience with Vega Line Moving in one word it would be abysmal. Zero stars out of five!

Vega Line Moving are located at #104 3870 Jacombs Rd. in Richmond B.C. and also seem to use the name Easy Way To Move. They are a totally unprofessional, irresponsible, and disreputable company. DO NOT hire them under any circumstances.

We hired this company assuming we were dealing with Easy Way To Move. In an email they sent us, as well as in their advertising they 100% guaranteed that all furniture would be covered and protected during transit. I could not find too much negative about Easy Way To Move so we hired them for a move from Edmonton to Northern Ontario.

That started what would become a painful experience that has cost my wife and I a great deal financially and emotionally. To receive the dismal service we did, and our treatment afterwards by this company is unspeakable.

Easy Way To Move which we later discovered was in fact Vega Line Moving were to pick our stuff up February 27 between 4 and 8. They did not show up until 0830 the next day.


The truck, that showed up was nearly half full and I did not foresee him getting all our stuff in that truck. At first the driver said he was going to rent a U-Haul to cover us, but that did not happen.
The driver then assured us that he will rearrange and reload his truck and get all our stuff on. Trusting that this guy knew what he was doing turned out to be a huge mistake on my part, and so the loading began. Almost immediately my wife asked about covering the furniture, to which the driver replied, “we cover in truck, we cover in truck”. As it turned out, the only furniture that was covered were both TV’s and the TV stand (which is one of the things missing). None of our dining room or living room furniture was protected in any way! The whole process took over 10 hours!!! During this time, the truck was rearranged and reloaded at least half a dozen times.
In the end, not only were they unable to fit all our stuff, they had to leave several items at our house to be picked up the following day. As we were leaving for Ontario immediately following the pickup, we were put in a position of having to impose on someone else to be there when the driver came back. He did return but left behind two round Rubbermaid barrels of garden things that we were promised would be picked up, and never were.

Our goods did not arrive in Ontario until March 26 a full month after pick up. When we saw the condition of our furniture and other items we were devastated. Our dining room table, all the chairs, living room tables, and an office desk damaged so badly they are unusable. A china cabinet that is a family heirloom and had never moved now has a big gouge in the side. The 100% guarantee of having all furniture covered and protected is an outright lie and is in fact misleading advertising. There were numerous other damages and they lost our TV stand and a good video camera in a road case. It was clear that no care at all was exercised in the moving of our stuff.

We filed a detailed claim with the company on April 03. They stopped communicating with us on April 30, some four months ago. There has been no attempt made to settle our claim, or to locate our lost items. This company has never acknowledged any responsibility for the damages they caused.

My wife and I have suffered a financial hit of over $3000 not to mention the emotional anguish we have endured because of this company. Clearly they don’t give a damn. I am a senior on a pension and cannot afford to pursue legal action so all I have at my disposal is to spread this review and to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, The Federal Trade Commission, and the Attorney General of BC citing this company for shady business practices and false advertising.

I cannot state strongly enough, DO NOT hire this company, weather they are calling themselves Vega Line or Easy Way To Move. I do not want anyone else to have to go through what we did at the hands of this company.

EXCELLENT! We had a move from Vancouver to Toronto and Vega Line team was absolutely fantastic! We had no issues with them at all. They were prompt, kind, courteous, and their prices are the best I could find. The movers were gentle with all of our valuable belongings, and they also notified us when the items arrived to our destination. If I had any questions or concerns on the way, Mark and his team were quite helpful! Well recommended.

I have moved around a lot, and have had experience with many different moving companies, and I wish they were all as easy to deal with as Vega. This company has more than fair prices, is honest in their dealings, and did an excellent job.

I moved from Vancouver to London, ON, in late August. From the free estimate stage all the way to the final delivery in London, ON. The whole process could not be smoother and more hassle-free. The movers were very helpful guys, they packed all valuables well and no damage occurred during the move. Sam, the move manager, who was the Vega Line's dispatch manager, was very accommodating and professional although he was extremely busy. It was the best experience possible and the crew were so polite, they even impressed my mother! Overall, I certainly work with Vega Line Moving again and recommend them to everyone who wants a professional, hassle-free and smooth move something that is not easy to find in this industry!

On February 15, my wife and I moved from our home in Vancouver to a retirement home in Montreal, QC. It was our first move in forty-three years. Needless to say, we knew little about moving and movers. We are retired and have some time, so we invited different companies for the estimate.

Recently I received a call from my employer saying that I need to move to a new office in Vancouver, BC. Our company is based in Regina SK. Immediately on the internet I searched rental Apartments and moving companies. After some search I have found a Studio apartment in Burnaby, BC and I picked up Vega Line moving as my carrier. This was a new journey for me and my carrier. I was hoping these journey to start with good memories. I was a bit stressed for moving because I heard lots of horror stories. On moving day my truck showed up 9 am in the morning. There were 3 guys in total. They very kind and they did excellent job. Everything has nicely wrapped. They gave me a copy of inventory list with contract copy and they left. I called my Sales rep Adam to check approximate arrival time and asked for my weight. His estimate was quiet good for 2100 Lbs I paid tax included $1150.00 and he informed me that within 3-5 days the goods will be Burnaby BC for delivery. As planned on the 5th day the goods arrived in good condition. I am quite happy to let everyone know that I made good choice. I would like to share with you the recent moving experience I had with Vegaline Moving in Jan 2016.
I moved from Seattle WA to Vancouver BC. After investigating on the net I decided to use Vega Line Moving. My sales rep was very friendly and very accurate on providing all the information's I needed.
I would like to Thank to Sam personally for the efforts he put trough. I have scheduled a pick up on Jan 23rd and truck showed up as planned in the morning. Their estimate was quite accurate.Next day we met with the truck in Burnaby Canada customs.After we cleared the goods in custom, truck moved on to my address in Vancouver BC for delivery. Everything went well and I am quite impressed with the quality of service compare to the money I spent. Thanks to Vega Line moving all crew and I will definitely recommend to my friends and family

In January 2016 I decided to use Vega Line Moving and storage services . I moved from Edmonton AB to Vancouver BC. This was a difficult move because of the location of my basement suit. We have scheduled a pick on Jan 15th and delivery Jan 19th in Vancouver. The moving company was very efficient with the dates and the estimate they provided. I am happy with the service and happy to see that I picked the right company. Definitely I will recommend Vega Line to my Friends. In addition to that they have an amazing customer service and Special Thanks to Sam dispatch manager.

My boyfriend and I looked extensively for a moving company to move our stuff from Montreal to Vancouver. After talking via email and phone with friendly employees both in Vancouver and in their Toronto area dispatch center, we felt comfortable scheduling a pickup day. The day before we were told that they would arrive sometime between 3 and 7. At 5 the day of pickup, I called just to make sure they were still going to make it given that the weather was pretty bad, and they assured me they would arrive by 7. Come 6:50 and they still had not showed up, so I called again and was assured they would show up by 8:30 (outside of the window but I was willing to deal with that given the weather). After 9 PM, we finally decided that they would not be coming and we spent 30 minutes bringing our boxes back up to our second floor apartment (we had brought them down to the ground floor to make things easier for the movers). I tried calling to office but of course by then it was closed. We went to bed around 10/10:30, and we were woken up by a call at 11:20. It was the driver Vega had contracted to pick up our belongings. He was very apologetic and said he was about 45 minutes away. Because it was so late already I said that would not be acceptable (c'mon a pickup at midnight?!), and that I would call the office tomorrow to figure out the next steps. The next morning I received a call from the Toronto dispatch apologizing and telling me that the next possible date was a week from the original date, which I said would probably not work given our flight was booked for that day, but I said I would call back soon with a decision. When I did so just a few hours later, I informed her that we had chosen to go with another company because we (obviously) could not risk having another missed date. She was again apologetic but when I brought up the unprofessionalism of having the driver call so late, she became rude and dismissive. To anyone thinking of using this company, you may get lucky and have your stuff picked up on time. But I suggest trying a company with better reviews that has better control over its contractors. Vega advertises a simple, hassle-free moving process but ours was anything but simple and hassle-free.

Thank you very much to the crew of Vega line who turn out my fears in to a smile . In September, I moved my two bedroom apt from Calgary AB to Vancouver BC . Before I moved I made search on internet and picked up Vega Line. Vega Line Sales team was very helpful and they give me very accurate price quote. There were no surprises. The move finished without any incident and they kept all their promises.I enjoyed the move and definitely recommend Vega Line Moving Who are planing to use moving company during their move.

After reading reviews of Vega Line moving I decided to schedule a move with them. I was not disappointed, from setting up the initial appointment over the phone with Fred, who was courteous and informative Customer service and their moving crew were extremely professional, polite, and efficient. They handled all of my belongings with care. They moved me from Toronto ON to Richmond BC I had horrible experiences with movers before but Vega line Moving has really restored my faith in professional movers. They will definitely be the only company we use while here in Richmond BC. Thanks again!!

My wife and I chose to live in green environment therefore we moved this winter to Langley, BC with Vega Line Moving. I am glad that I picked Vega Line Moving as my moving Carrier. I was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. After quick research on the net I chose Vega Line Moving to move my family from Saskatoon SK to Langley BC. The company was perfect from beginning to the end. They were great with the furniture and I am happy to say, I had no issues at all during the move. The crew leader was great at explaining every detail, without wasting a lot of time. He was helpful and when the move came around, he was right there with the guys getting stuff done. It rained unexpectedly, but that did not stop the speed or process. They took great care with my belongings and worked efficiently. They will definitely be the only company we use while here in Langley BC. Thanks again!!

This winter I moved from Calgary AB to Surrey, BC. CJ and his crew were on time, and most efficient in their use of time. Everyone was courteous and the job done within the budget estimated. The company was perfect from beginning to the end. They gave us a good quote over the phone which turned out to be accurate. It was almost the exact dollar amount they quoted me. The movers showed up early. They never asked for anything, I got them some coffee and drinks and lunch and they just kept moving. The move went well, with no unpleasant surprises extremely professional and I would use them again

We do not have much experience with moving, as we've lived in our former home for 20 years and we were very nervous as to which company to hire as they all seemed to have some wonderful reviews and some very negative reviews. We chose Vega Line Moving because they were very trustworthy. They showed up on time, arrived at our new address on time, and the final price that we paid was EXACTLY what they quoted us from the start!! Nothing damaged, nothing missing, no complaints at all. If we need to move again in the future, I would not even think of using anyone else. Thanks to Vega Line and crew.

It was pleasure to deal with Customer Service representatives they were all very friendly. I was very much stressed from beginning to an end but it turn to me as an happy move at the end. This was our second move with Vega Line. I said it in my first review, and I'll say it again: if you need their services, just call them and stop wasting your time! These guys are incredible.
Punctual, friendly, enthusiastic, and total professionals. Every item of ours was treated like it was their own (carefully moved by hand, wrapped in thick blankets, secured in the truck)
It never fails to amaze us how these guys can empty the contents of a house (from top to bottom plus the garage) in two hours. Mark asked me during this past move, "How did you happen to remember us when you needed a mover?". Like I told him, we use every opportunity to tell others about Vega Line, and they are the first (and only) company we think of when we need movers.
Great, great guys and a great company to deal with.

Your customer service is excellent and consistent among every employee I dealt with. I was able to speak to a human whenever I called and when I did, they were able to access my file instantly and answer my questions.

If I emailed, I was replied to promptly. The fellows who actually moved me were professional, careful and ON TIME!!
They hadn't worked as a team long either but you wouldn't have known it. I recommend Vega Line Moving to every chance I get and would re-book with you, no question. Whatever you're doing, keep it up because some of us know and appreciate the difference between fair and fabulous!! Cheers

I cant say enough great things about Vega Line Moving Services. I spent a week scouring the web reading reviews and doing my research to ensure I made the right choice for my long distance move from Kelowna BC to Lacombe AB. The one company that kept coming to the top of the list wasVega Line. I was so nervous because you hear and read so many horror stories of items lost or damaged but I am so grateful that I decided to go with them. They stayed in constant contact with me throughout the entire process. Dispatch emailed me at least 3 times leading up to my move to ensure they had every detail correct, they confirmed the date and time two days prior and the driver called me the morning of to confirm the arrival time. They were right on time and immedietly put down running matts and confirmed what was being moved and what was coming with us. They tagged every single item and inventoried it. They were courteous, efficient, polite and extremely considerate of our belongings. They provided the ticket with the prior weight from the weigh scale and once all packed up they went straight to the closest weigh scale and the driver called me with the final weight. He made sure I had his cell number so I had consrant contact at all times if needed. Their approximate delivery date was 2 days earlier then expected and they called the day before delivery and even the day of because they were running an hour late. When they arrived all of our belongings were there intact with not a single bit of damage, not even a dent in a box. I was extremely surprised and extremely happy. I was moving into storage so they were sure to ask what I needed to be left accessible and they even left some of my pictures and an expensive jersey case wrapped in their blankets and didnt charge us for them. From start to finish the entire team with Vega Line Moving was AMAZING I paid exactly what I was quoted except paid a bit more because the weight was higher then I expected but that was only because I told them I had 15 boxes when I really had 32. I would definitely recommend Vega Line especially if you want a stress free long distance move! You get what you pay for and it was well worth the $2400. At beginning of March my family and I moved from Calgary, AB to Richmond, BC using Vega Line Moving.

We went online to get the quotes and out of the 3 companies we narrowed it down to Vega Line always the first to return emails, phone messages and provide us with the specific information that we required to make our decision.
We got a quote for our large 3 bedroom house, we went through a more detailed quoting system with the office, thequote was within 5% of our estimation, we are truly impressed. We did all of our own packing, except for some antique china which we let the professionals take care of.
Everything came in great shape and on time, we are really happy with our decision and would recommend Vega Line Moving to anyone moving

The whole process was very smooth and I found that everyone was very eager to help.
I had some time constraints on when I could move and accept delivery and Sam was able to help me and work it out. My move coordinator Adam answered all my questions.
The day of the move, the crew were fantastic and very professional.
They made moving day (usually a very stressful day) enjoyable.

I would like to start off by saying if you are looking for A+ class moving company, look no further. My experiences with Vega Line and his team were fantastic. When I first called Vega Line, the salesman was very helpful and provided me with all the information I needed for my big move. Their prices were exactly as quoted and it was excellent value for the quality of moving provided.
I had to ask Vega Line to move my possessions twice, due to an earlier closing of my previous home. I had to move my stuff into storage first and then from storage into my new home 2 weeks later.
Vega Line and his team were accomodating to this, and provided top notch service and arrived exactly on time both times. My hardwood furniture, boxes, electronics and other household possessions were carried and transported with care. The team were extremely hardworking, friendly and efficient.
I highly recommend Vega Line and its team for anyone needing moving services.

We recently hired Vega Line Moving Storage to move us from Edmonton AB to Winnipeg and they were fantastic. Everything was delivered well and we are very happy with how everything turned out. The final charges were almost exactly what Vega Line Moving Storage quoted and the whole team was courteous. The movers were very careful with our belongings at both of our houses. We would not hesitate to use Vega Line Moving Storage again.

I'm so relieved to have had a easy and successful move. I had Vega Line Moving do everything for me as I am a busy mother of 4 and a husband :) .
I had them pack everything for me, and move my entire condo the day after packing was done. I took my family to a hotel, because moving is not easy on young kids. I entrusted everything with Mark and the Staff from Vega Line Moving, and it was the right decision. I had many moving companies come to my condo, and Mark made me feel safe and confident that they could handle everything for me. It was just a really good experience and I wanted to share this with everyone
