Without a doubt, there is no better practicing physician. She is thorough, empathetic, exceedingly knowledgeable all combined with the very best "bedside" manner. Look no further. This is where you need to be for the most vital..... your sight.

Linda is such a pleasure to visit. She is very thorough and discovered what no other optician (and I've worn glasses for 60 years!) did. I have double vision in one eye. It explains so many problems I've had with my eyesight. I am now considering cataract surgery and, although it frightens me, I totally trust her to guide me and take care of my vision again.

If doctors were all about giving prescriptions and wishing you a wonderful life, she would fail miserably; but she is all about not only your eyes, but all about you. That makes her the best in MY EYES. She is sensitive, caring, makes you feel so at ease as if you were sitting and talking to your best friend, and she knows her stuff. My sons and I have been going to her for years. She discovered that I had graves disease and helped to save my sight. I would not change her for a million dollars, because when the money was all spent, I would have to find a doctor who was all about prescriptions. I have recommended my friends to her and none of them have been disappointed. She's for real, and so is the staff.

I've been bouncing from optometrists and opthomaloagists for years not being satisfied. I have a difficult prescription and need someone who will spend some time testing my eyes to be sure the prescription is the best it can be. I found that with Dr. Skrapits. She wants to make sure that I have the best vision I can, and spent CONSIDERABLE time with me, over several visits. She only charged me the standard fee, but I feel she deserved much more given the time and effort she put in. She's very friendly and knowledgable. Yorkville is not the area I ever go to for shopping, but don't let her location deter you. She's down to earth and so is the entire office staff. You won't be dissappointed!
