I would give 10 stars out of 5 if possible. Super friendly people. And extremely professional. I sent flowers from Atlanta to Montreal, it was a misunderstanding not related to them and they called me down here in Atlanta on my mobile and rescheduled the delivery for the same day (!!!!) at the same price. I wish more businesses would be so professional and helpful. Congrats, way to go Rideau!!!

We had 2 arrangements sent to our daughter who had just had a baby. I placed the orders online as we live in BC. The ordering process was quick & easy.

The morning of delivery, they sent a photo of both arrangements. One of them had a teddy bear in it and the website had shown it to be brown. The flowers they had made had a pink bear but I had neglected to mention it was for a boy. I phoned and left a message to which they replied quickly. Although they only had pink in stock, they managed to find a replacement.

The arrangements were delivered as promised and were both lovely.

A family member ordered flowers from this company for me but I was away when they tried to deliver them. I tried to make arrangements to pick them up on my return but found that the company was easily the least helpful of any I have dealt with to date. They also made matters worse by being patronizing. I wish we had checked these reviews first - under no circumstances should you do business with this company!!!

So many things wrong with this company. First off, I did not even receive an email confirmation. I called in and IT STILL NEVER CAME.
The delivery address was off by a few minutes than what I placed. They called and automatically asked for my credit card number and charged me AN EXTRA $10 for a "redelivery charge".

Staff is highly incompetent and inactive. Definitely will not be returning. Wish I read the reviews beforehand. WISH TO SAVE YOU ALL THE SAME GRIEF! STAY AWAY.

This company is absolutely incompetent and useless. While happy to take orders, the flowers were not delivered on the day they should have been and, no real reason provided why not. The worst part was the nonchalance shown when their promised service was not delivered. But then, the customer service emails riddled with spelling errors, should have given me an idea of the kind of business I was dealing with. Use them at your own risk

Check out the Better Business Bureau site at before ordering from these clowns.

As previously stated....ordered flowers which never arrived. To cut a long story short, after many frustrating phone calls, I got my money back - less a $10 admin fee....I hope this business is shut down!!!

Make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau - they need to know how these clowns operate.

Ordered flowers for my girlfreind, and when they were not delivered that day (as they were supposed to be), they told me they tried to deliver them and couldn't get a hold of anyone. This was impossible as her work building is open 24hrs and always someone at reception. Anyway, I tried emailing them during the day (no response) and when i called their local number on the website, it said they were closed, even though it clearly says to call between 7am-10pm, which it was. Tried calling this morning and still says closed. lol I had to write and email to and finally a guy called me and told me I had to pay an extra 10$ to have them delivered since they were unable yesterday....again a bunch of BS. They even had my girlfreinds cell number in case they needed to reach her, and it was never called. Anyway i told them to cancel the order and of course, they have to charge me 10$ to cancel. I figure small price to pay for a lesson learnt on where not to order flowers next time around. I had previously gone with eadible arrangements and had a great experience, shouldn't have messed with a good thing!!

I asked them this question on my last call to them. 10 days ago I ordered flowers for a grieving friend, and 3 phone calls later they have NEVER arrived. On one call they claim they delivered them to a different town that had the same street name and to the same house number. There are two problems with that. The first is that I never gave them that town address nor postal code. The second is that in the "other town" that house number does not exist! They promised to deliver them on 4 dates now but no flowers have yet arrived and yes, my credit card was billed. I will be complaining to the BBB.

I love the flowers which was send to my wife she loved it and i got lucky on Saturday night too bad for those who had a bad experience with the Rideau florist this is a 7th time i place the order with Rideau florist every time they gave the best service for those who had a bad experience with Rideau florist i suggest you to change your florist if you don't like them seems to me they provide the best service and if the flowers are not been delivered they give us the full refund and some time refund take some its a delicated procedd they just wanted to make sure that the money will proceed back to our account for being so careful not to do any mistakes with the refund. There was only one time my order was not been delivered but they send a free bouquet to my wife and i place order with them every time. And one more thing for those who want to make there wife happy buy the flowers from the shop your self and take them to your wife that would be better for you to get some thing in a bed.

I just had the most remarkably disappointing and maddening experience with this company. I ordered flowers last Friday online to be delivered today for my Mother's birthday. I spoke with a representative both online and by telephone THIS MORNING and was reassured both times that the flowers would be delivered by 3:00pm today.

I then received a call on my lunch hour at 12:50pm, indicating that they would not be delivered until tomorrow. This information was provided to me with 2 HOURS left before my mother leaves work. The offer made was that they could be delivered tomorrow with extra flowers. Unacceptable. What should have been offered was another arrangement with a discount. I am NOT going to send my Mother belated birthday flowers because some second rate company without any customer service couldn't make the arrangements with 5 days notice.

I had read bad reviews about this company online this morning and was concerned but figured they were simply disgruntled customers, possibly grumpy. Now I completely understand what the issue is. I don't know how they operate a business with this kind of "customer service" but to any potential customers : buyer beware.

P.S. - I took my business to one of their competitors who was able to place and deliver the order immediately. Apparently they know what they're doing.

This is by far the worst flower shop in the City of Ottawa. They do not spend time making a nice arrangement, they basically just cut the flowers and stick them in a vase and that's it! Worst customer service - and the arrangement that you're paying $75 for is actually not even worth more than $30. If you want a gorgeous arrangement for the same price I highly recommend Flowers Talk, Phulero Dola or Tivoli. Don't waste your time and money for nothing!

Just a note to let you know how impressed we were with the table decorations on Saturday night. Virtually everybody commented on them, and many people asked me where they were from. So hopefully this will put some business your way. They looked beautiful and helped make the night a raging success!

My sister in law arranged for these flowers to be
sent to me and they were the most beautiful arrangement that I have ever received. I also have had them on display until today which is well and truly over two weeks. I have never seen flowers last so long. I will definitely be using you when I need to send flowers.

Ordered flowers from out of town for delivery to funeral at Kelly Funeral Homes and Chapels. I got the date of the funeral wrong (awful!) but they were nice enough to re-deliver flowers the next day. Terrific service

This is my wife's favourite florist ! I used to send flowers to my wife from several different places until family friend recommended to me Jasper Florist the best florist in Alberta to use for flowers delivery. I must say that I have been impressed with his style,service and willingness to work with my budget. Flowers from this florist are my wife's favourite. Definitely best florist in Edmonton. Great customer service and amazing web-site.

I got into a fight with my boyfriend and needed to send him flowers ASAP. I called these guys and a gentleman named Kyle placed my order in 5 mins, flowers were there in 2hrs. I did have to dish out $10 for delivery 'cuz I placed the order over the phone, but it was worth it. Cool place.

Horrible... Horrible service! My flowers were supposed to be delivered on a certain day at a certain time (which I paid EXTRA for), only to have them not show up... They showed up two days later, after me complaining three times to them. I will never order from here again, next time I'll just spend my money at Safeway. At least they'd acknowledge their mistake...

My husband ordered flowers to be delivered on Valentine’s Day; I phoned a week beforehand to confirm the address and was unable to reach anyone for over four days. Left countless voice mails, sent numerous emails which were never replied to. Finally got a hold of someone a few days before Valentine's Day, took her about 10 minutes to find my order, said the ordering system was complicated and that they were flooded with orders. Confirmed the delivery address with her. Valentine's Day rolls around and no flowers! Called on Feb. 15 to find out what happened and once again had to deal with the answering machine. Once again left numerous voice mails, sent emails none of which were answered. My husband finally got a hold of someone, a very rude woman with a heavy accent who basically told him he was lying, that no such order existed (it turns out they had provided us with someone else’s order number!!). When he asked to speak to the manager, she told him he was to busy to speak to him; my husband offered to wait on the phone and she told him it would be a two-hour wait…fantastic customer service! We certainly understand that Valentine's Day is an extremely busy day for florists and that errors will happen but having to deal with this excessively rude woman was the final straw. We called again on Feb. 15 to obtain a refund (once again it took 10 minutes to find our file) and were assured it would be processed that day. We were also told someone would call to confirm the refund was issued; yet again no call. Refunds take about 3 days to process. It is now the 22nd and still no refund. Yet again my husband had to waste his time calling them from overseas to find out what had happened to the refund, sure enough they didn’t know where it was. We received a call this afternoon indicating that the refund was being processed today. We will wait another week and if it doesn’t appear on our statement, we will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Stay away from Rideau Florist

I had the exact same problem! I'm finding every review website and posting on it! I hope these guys go out of business, cuz this is a joke. My flowers were two days late! They guaranteed me twice they would be delivered, and they never were. HORRIBLE PLACE!!!

This is my favourite florist shop ! They are always friendly and seem to take the extra time to ensure great quality and presentation.
