i was reccommend this service to anyone looking for a great service for there pup. From the first consultation to the walker for our pup Simon we have nothing but good things to say about A Leg Up. Every day I got home I was left a note about the new adventures Simon went on with all his pals. Any changes to the sched or last minute requests were aleays dealt with right away . We also had a trainining sesion with the head trainer Lisa, she was amazing very firendly and helpful and Simon just adored her. We highly recommend A Leg Up !

I tried to ignore the bad reviews and give this place an honest shot. While the walker Danny we had was amazing, the management is very poor and customer service skills are non-existent. Poor scheduling,
Not showing up to walk my dog and sending new walkers each time was not satisfactory. Despite many issues, not once did manager Nigel ever pick up the phone to apologize or follow up. Don't waste your time or money.

What an amazing company i can't say enough about how well they have treating me and my pup jack. I used another company and was not happy with the service so a friend recommended A Leg up. From the first meeting II felt totally at ease that they were highly proffesional and
had my pups best intest at heart. Jack now waits at the door for his pick up for his big adventure with his pack. If you are looking for the best place for your dog i highly urge
you to try A leg up.

We had such amazing experience with this company for our pup Zack, We used both their walking service and took a training class with the amazing trainer Lisa. From day one they were so kind and professional, much more then the other companies we interviewed for Zack's care.
I work from home so I saw first hand how much care they gave Zack and how happy he was to see them everyday! The were so accommodating to any changes, and leaving great progress reports on how zack was doing with his pals. I highly recommend the company if you value the care your dog gets.

My husband and I were recommended to try A Leg Up after we had a bad experience with another company. We were a little hesitant but I have to say they were amazing! They are so professional they really care about our pup Mandy, and as you all know they are like our children. The walkers are amazing with Mandy as well as their mazing trainer Lisa who was wonderful teacher. Hi highly recommend A Leg up for any of your pet needs.

Caution for anyone who is planning to use this company for dog walks/boarding.

While we were super impressed by the guy who initially came to our house, seemed genuinely interested in caring for our dog and presented us with info regarding the walks, the experience with the actual walkers was far from pleasant.

We used A Leg Up last year to provide twice daily puppy visits for our new pup who actually had broken his leg in an unfortunate accident the day we brought him home from the breeder (he is perfectly fine now by the way!)

A Leg Up promised us that their walker would arrive twice daily to visit and would chart the visits in the cutesy log book they provided. Looked good, we thought. About a week into the visits, my fiancee happened to be home during the day unexpectedly. He arrived home at about 11am. He saw that the walker had been there that morning but that the walker had also logged that she was there at 1pm and had fed the pup then. She charted that the pup had done his business and she had even written little details about what the pup did on the second visit. Dan couldn't believe it but he figured he'd wait around to see. Perhaps the individual was coming back at 1pm. Well 1pm rolled around and there was no sign of the walker, 2pm, 3pm came around, no second visit. You get a picture. The walker never came back and actually LIED to us about her visit.

What's worse is that A Leg Up never fired this walker for lying about the visits.

I'm so glad we caught this as soon as we did. Who knows how long we would have been PAYING for 2 visits that weren't even happening.

Please don't use this company. They're all good at head office and feed you the lines, they've got great marketing, but they're not reliable and I really don't think can be trusted.

Me an my wife were so happy to find this company! They have been a such a lifesaver when it come to Charlie. Charlie has been such a happy and of course tired pup when he comes home from the walks. Everyone has been so nice and accommodating, I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of a great service for their pup!

I have had nothing but problems since hiring A Leg Up. The walker showed up on two occasions when they were not booked but I was guaranteed by the owner that the opposite would not happen. But a couple of weeks later it did and my poor puppy was left alone for a very long day. When I called to find out what had happened my phone call was not returned for three days and when it was they just called to say they were going to look into it. A week later I was finally able to get a hold of someone and they just made up new excuses as to why this happened (for the third time). I cancelled my services with them but I have still not received my key back and the owner Nigel was incredibly rude on the phone. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are extremely unorganized. Any service that demands money up front and you are not allowed to contact the person that is coming into your home directly is not to be trusted. I wish I had been smarter in the beginning when I originally hired them.

Nigel and his team always do a wonderful job whenever I send Charlie my golden-boarder collie to stay with them. They offer personalized service, in home care with qualified and loving staff. Charlie gets socialization, play time and lots of TLC. The team at A Leg Up is reasonable in rates, and flexible with your needs and those of your dog. I would recommend A LEG UP to anyone who needs a bit of help when life gets busy.

You even get a report card to know how the pooch did while you were gone. ( nice touch)
