I made 3 orders on 12/08/2021 and only 1 was delivered before Christmas. I have called repeatedly to their office for updates as the two remaining baskets are now 2 weeks late and no updates on their status. I don’t think anyone should trust this company’s delivery dates and instead find a more reputable company to do business with that will keep you informed. I’m thinking the best plan now is haveMy credit card company just reverse the charges as fraudulent business practices.
This is the second time I order from The Sweet Basket Company. The recipient loved the birthday basket and was pleasantly surprised by all the delectables! Will definitely continue to use this company in the future. Very good customer service over the phone as well.
STAY AWAY!!! Ordered a gift basket on December 13th for the holidays and nothing showed up. Followed-up with an e-mail on December 28th and no response. Followed-up again with another e-mail on December 31st and no response. Finally received a call on January 3rd asking if I still wanted basket delivered (is this company for real?). Requested a refund which was promised on January 3rd - it's January 11th and no credit yet so need to follow-up again. This company provides one service, delivering gift baskets - how are they in business???
Placed the order on December 13th. Called today December 27th, they say "order will be shipped this week". So nothing has happened to date other than they collecting the money. They never said there would be any delay. If I had known I would not have placed the order.
Our baby shower gifts arrived today and they are beautiful. Thank you for quickly processing our order so they could arrive on the date requested. Will definitely use your services again.

I received a ``Thank you basket`` from an organization and I can not think of a classier way to mark an occasion or express best wishes! It had all the qualities you would look for in a high-end gift. The packaging - even the box it was delivered in - was as impressive as the quality and variety of the treats.
Arrived one month late... for Christmas. After multiple phone calls. In my opinion, they're very unorganized. The product was very small, and the price very high. All in all, I would never recommend this company to anyone. It's the first time I've ever had such a bad experience ordering online.
My daughter sent me a gift basket for my birthday..some of the worst products I've ever tasted.It included assorted cookies, teas and a teapot cup combo.The teapot is so hot you'll burn yourself trying to pour it.I feel terrible that my daughter paid good money for such a terrible product. I will not pay a penny to ship it back.The basket was the only good thing hence the half star.
This company received an order for 28 corporate gift baskets out of which they only delivered 3. The order was placed on the 16th of Dec. and we where not contacted or notified of any problems until Jan 3rd. Customer service disorganized and unproductive. Misplaced orders, did not return phone calls or emails (despite of trying to reach them numerous times/ day).
I would not recommend them to anyone who is sending gift baskets to partners clients etc. pick a reliable firm. this is not them!

I have NEVER been so disappointed ordering from a business online until NOW! I placed an order for a "SWEET 16" basket that I encountered so many problems with.First, I never received an e-mail confirmation from them,so I emailed them to send me that info and never heard back. A few days later I called and they said a lady would call me back b/c only she could help with all my info...Never heard back again! A week past and my niece never received her basket! So,now I am really fed up and want a refund since my niece's b'day had already past she never received her basket, but mind u this company charged my credit card asap! I finally got hold of a lady saying she would check blah, blah, blah. Well it turns out they did have a tracking # but it was sent out 1 week after I ordered it (which they left on my vm). (I'm sure it was the doing of the incompetent workers at this store! They cannot even return emails or phone calls...so how do we expect them to take on a easy task to sent out a gift basket.)
Well, my niece finally recieved her basket almost 2 weeks later! She text me a picture to say thank you for the cookie basket and they sent her a yellow and blue Happy Birthday basket! Which I DID NOT even order!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! I ordered a pink and white Happy 16th Birthday basket!! I am so upset, I was going to call this company back to give them a piece of my mind but thought why waste my time (they are so lame and would'nt get it anyway! My 4 year old could run this better than these idiots!) So, I will just write bad reviews and spread it through social media with the hopes of discouraging people to order from thi s place! Lesson learned here. So PLEASE BEWARE! DO nOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! There are so many awesome companys to deal with!BTW, I would give ZERO strs but I had to mark something otherwise they would not let me post my review....

this company is one (if not the most) inefficient and incompetent online service that I have used. I ordered a basket for xmas delivery but was sent an email saying it wont arrive until 24 Dec (that's fine or even a few days off as I ordered 16 Dec) but it's now 3 January 2013 and the recipients have not received the basket yet! My card's been charged btw as soon as i made the order. I ordered online with other companies two days AFTER I ordered with sweet basket and the second order didnt have any problem having the gift delivered before xmas. Will NEVER order from this company again.
ordered a xmas basket last 16 dec 2012 and was sent an email that there will be a delay and that it will be sent 24 dec 2012 (that's fine) but then it's already 2013 (jan 1 !!) and my basket has not yet been sent, this despite the fact that i wrote a query email about 4 days ago and got no reply from the company! very bad service

I ordered a chocolate basket for mother day and the delivery option I chose meant it wouldn't arrive in time despite asking me what date I wanted the item to be delivered. Instead of having a website which gives you delivery choices with costs related to your required delivery date they took my order with free standard delivery which wouldn't get it there in time and then almost immediately sent me an automated email asking me to upgrade to express delivery (I didn't reply until the next day when I saw the email). So they thought it best to wait for my reply and were prepared to wait to send my parcel 24 hours later when only express delivery would get it there in time? I replied to their email and insisted they now send it express at their cost. They emailed me again to say they were going to send it express and charge my card to make sure it got there by mothers day. This was after I had received a notification from UPS saying the item had been shipped. I pointed out that they had no authorization to take a further payment from my card. They then did agree to send it at their cost. Free delivery is a ruse to recoup some of the $43 delivery cost they say it cost them to send express and lure you into placing an order. Wouldn't use again.Testimonials on website only put on by them- no option for customer to give feedback so you only see the good reviews. I tried to explain that from a customer service point of view their delivery option process was flawed but they just replied 'As mentioned in our previous email, we are a reputable company with thousands of great testimonials and reviews on our website regarding our products and service. We need not say more.' They aren't listening. Need I say more!
Our company has been using the services of The Sweet Basket Company for five years now. Their service is impeccable and their gift baskets get rave reviews each and ever time. Great job!
Unreliable. Poor communication. In result my order was not delivered for Christmas nor was I contacted that it was not shipped because it was out stock…. Should they contact me then, I would have picked up something else. Now, they claim they were closed until Dec28, now is Jan12, 2012 and no answer from them still. If I did not contact them on the Jan12, I would have NOT received the refund… (still don’t have it: 7days to process that). Very BAD service. Very BAD customer service. Never to buy from them again!!!
My Order#5613100 made on Dec 20 was charged to my credit card as shown below. On Dec 24 after I received an email to say product was not available. I phoned them right away, but got the answering machine which said they will reopen on 28th Dec.

The ordered basket was not delivered on time in fact days after the promised date, and I had to follow up twice with them. Whem the champagne basket did arrive the flutes were two bubble wrapped tubes of glass shards.
