Made getting my part easier, cheaper, and faster than ordering on line. They were super helpful and understanding on the phone and had the part ready to go when I arrived to pick it up.

Worst customer service ever! Tried twice now, gave the benefit of the doubt the first time. I will never use them for anything, if I can’t find the part elsewhere I will purchase a new appliance!!

Usually when i go to the shack i know exactly the part i need. Today i went in with my appliance owners manual. The lady was short and abrupt. She stated i had to go get the model number off the appliance itself. The numbers on the owners manual didn't show anything. I googled the numbers on the manual and got the part number myself. It's obvious that "Appliance Shack" has the parts market in Barrie locked up so tight that they can afford to send customers away.

My stove bake element was burnt out, I did all the ground work in finding the proper part number to replace that part and fix my stove. I went to Sears Home in Barrie first and they said I couldn't order over the phone and the part was a 3 week delivery, the guy was also extremely rude. Call up The Appliance Shack, the guy kept me on the phone well he looked up my part number. He found it in warehouse and ordered for me next day. Happy I found these guys on Google and will recommend them all the time. Thank-you.

I needed a part for my dryer. The appliance shack had my part in stock. And I was able to fix my machine myself thanks to the expert advise they gave me. Saved a lot of money . Very happy customer.

Stove element died and unable to buy one locally. Contacted Appliance Shack and they had part in stock.
After hour drive both ways new element installed in 10 minutes. Thanks!

Won't even give it a star . Had to look on the wall to find my element with no help. Was assured that the element would be fine, paid for it and was given my received my bill folded up and left the store. Was not told that all electrical sales are final when I called about returning it upon looking at my bill the next day because I decided to buy new stove. So don't wast time or money here, because if you buy anything electrical from here it will just become a paper weight.

I can't even give this store a rating but of corse it is mandatory. I used it a couple of times in fact I was forced to because in the whole city of Barrie they are the only store you can get appliance parts.
They have the rudest customer service I have ever came across and it doesn't matter wether you go in person or on the phone they have absolutely NO MANNERS!!!
I will never use this store again nor will I recommend it to my worst enemy.
GOOD LUCK to anyone who ignores these negative reviews.

On Oct. 17th 2014 I ordered a product for my fridge , the service person said it would take 14 days to get the product in . I said ok and paid up front for the item . The service person took my phone number and said they would call me when it arrives. After 2 weeks my wife made a call to the Barrie shop , the person working there said it was not in yet . Now as I'm typing this we are into the third week waiting . I made a phone call this morning to the shop , the service person left me on hold for 5 minutes . So I hung up and called back. She said she was busy so I gave here my cell number and asked her to call me back , she took my number and hung up on me . I was becoming unimpressed at this point . So I went about my way in Barrie taking care of a few things that I had to do , this took a couple of hours . Still no call from The Appliance Shack , so I drove down there to see what was going on. when I walked into the store and asked the woman" why she hadn't called me back ?" she said she faxed the people who she ordered from and wanted to give them a few hours to respond . I said that she could have called me to let me know this . Again she said she was too busy , and" what you want me to call you to tell you its not in or I don't know where it is ? " I said yes , you haven't let me know anything you haven't called me at all to let me know the status .I need this part , I paid for it . I asked for a refund since she couldn't help me . She said couldn't help me .. I asked to speak to the store Manager. She said No , she is not in today. I asked for a number tom contact her , she said No. This service person was very rude , unhelpful and she didn't seen to care about the situation. I said that I will never shop at this store again . This woman's service attitude was awful. I would have been more understanding if I would have received a simple call from the Appliance Shack stating the status of the product I was waiting for. Common respect .
