Initally I was hesitant to visit the school after reading all the reviews from 2010. But the location really made it a strong contender. After meeting the Principal Ms. Connie and the other teachers I got a really good feeling about this place and took a chance to register my child into the toddler class in september 2011. It took a few days for my child to adjust along with me! But what put me at ease is that the teachers would touch base with me at some point of the day and let me know how my child was doing. This made the tranition much easier. After a couple days of adjustment. My child had a big smile on his face at pick up, and drop offs got easier. I apprecite how much the school communicates with parents to inform us about our children. Along with all the great family paties they hold to bring the parents and school together. Me and my son really like the school and teachers here.

I have my two children in the school. It was the best decision that I made. The staff and mangement are great!!Things haved changed when a new owner and a new principle started. When entering the school you get a warm welcoming feeling! My children are very happy to go to school very day!
I feel relaxed at work knowing
that my children are in great hands!
Thank you Mastermind montessori for everything you do!!!

The 2010-2011 school year already came to an end. And I felt that putting my son in Mastermind was one of the best decision I ever made. He loved her school and she learnt so much this year. I find the school have a true heart for their students. The teachers are AMAZING!!!!! They have so much enthusiasm with kids. The school management already changed and they have put so much heart and effort in the school to make it the second home for the children.

This school was very good up until May, the admin changed, principal left, and on going legal action between school directors. most of the teachers are leaving the school after June 2010. Lots of parents are feeling very unsecure. We have more than 20 upset parents got stuck with pre-registration that we submited back in march when the school is still in good management.
Over half of the parents in school have signed up a petition requesting a refund and withdraw their child from Mastermind due to the inaccurate and inconsistency info that were provided from school admin after principal left. Parents have even united up and filed complaint to Ministry, Better Business Bureau, OFIS, Consumer service, as well as getting assistance from Councillor Dan Horchik.
For those who are looking for school, please be alert with the uncertainty situation. Feel free to contact the organization that I mentioned above to know more about the situation and issue.

We have our son enrolled in this school for this year and for the next. The location, staff and facilities are great. They are very flexible and do not have any non sense extra charges or donation requests.
The first principle quit and they replaced her with a very experienced Montessori Principle. Some parents who liked the first principle are making a big deal about this change, but I do not see the big deal. Honestly I am tired of all the politics some parents are promoting. This school is good. We recommend it.

Well, quite frankly I am not sure about the new principal. She used to teacher at Wishing well and I heard a few bad stories at Wishing well (kid ran away and school didn't contact parents). I am concern about the change in principal and teachers quiting. Although my daughter is not going there at the moment, but we have registered and is considering other options.

See, this is the problem. There are a few parents who are making defaming comments about the school and the new principal and a lot of people are blindly listening.
We have our child in this school and have had a chance to get to know the new principal over the last 2 months. She has 25 year of montessori and principal experience. The fact that a child ran away from Whishingwell has nothing to do with this new principal and her experience.
We like this school. They just had their year end celebration on Friday and I saw arround 50 happy children and 100 happy parents!

We recommend this school.
