Kyokushin is a style of Karate well known for its rigorous training. It was founded by the late Sosai Mas Oyama 10th degree blackbelt in 1953. Since then Kyokushin has grown to over 10 million members world wide. The first Canadian club opened 40 years ago. Now, there are many clubs around Canada. We offer a wide variety of endurance, strength, and flexibility trainings as well as self-defense, katas ( fighting forms) and sparring. Our training philosophy encompasses men, women and children of various athletic abilities. Training camps, seminars, and competitions are also available to qualified students through out the year.Classes/trainings are organized with a positive atmosphere for all levels of fitness abilities.
Karate Kyokushin Club invites you to our Karate classes from the age of 5 and up.
At the Kitchener Dojo, visitors are always welcome.
