3 years ago, I remember these guys doing a great job to clear a clogged kitchen drain. They even went through the effort to locate how deep the clog really is. After locating the problem, they found a way to reach it through the basement pipes. They explained everything in detail and resolved the issue. Happy customer right here!

This year, I started having the same problem and decided to call them back because of the excellent service recalled 3 years ago. It turns out they sent the same technician again, which is great news! He was friendly & professional just as memory serves, this time with a partner who was also excellent. After asking a few questions, they already knew what and where the problem is. Issue resolved again! They even gave me tips on drain maintenance.

Would definitely recommend them. If anything else happens, I'd gladly call them a third time. You know who to call? Clog busters! Ahahaa, okay bad joke.

As a first time home owner, I was in a predicament choosing a proper plumber. A few other local services didn't bother returning my calls.

Had a clogged drain in the basement and water was rising out of the bathtub. They did a much more than just cleaning my drain, they examination my sewers with their camera inspection and gave us a number of options, explaining everything in detail. They were very professional and polite, fixed the problem, and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. I'd highly recommend 5 Star Plumbing.

I contacted 5 Star Plumbing due to drain issues which has been persisting for months. The moment I contacting the 5 Star office, one hour later I had a technician at my door. There were on time as promised and we extremely professional. They offer a well-priced service but most importantly the service they offer is completely a 5 Star service.

If you are looking for a reliable 24/7 plumbing services, I would recommend using 5 Star Plumbing.

They sent out a subcontractor who was creepy and attempted to overcharge for materials by adding 700$ to the actual material cost of 114$. The owners had to intervene and argue with their own worker! Huge headache, leaky and sloppy work which had to be fixed up after the job was complete.

The service was impeccable for the start to the very end. Very professional, on time, very clean and most important it was a pleasure having them in my home.

We contacted Montreal 5 Star Plumbing over the weekend for a blocked main drain. Withing an hour we had a technician at our house. They we very polite, extremely professional and they cleaned up afterwards themselves. For those looking for good reliable plumbers I suggest Montreal 5 Star Plumbing.

On September 1, 2014(a holiday) my home's main drain backed up into the basement. Since we had visitors, we called 5 Star Plumbing, realizing that it would cost more (being a holiday).
A plumber arrived with a roto-router and proceeded to clean out the drain. The drain cleared after about 25 feet. When he removed the router, he told me that "it's not roots because there aren't any on the router cable". For this reason he elected not to use the root cutter attachment to go through again. After he left, I found pieces of root on the floor near the clean-out, but as we were going away for the week, I let it go for the moment. We returned on the next Friday, and by Saturday morning, the drain was backing up again.
I called the plumber who had come and he told me that the roots I had found were "from another job" he had been on. He then told me that he couldn't use the root cutter because "he needed a camera inspection first"...but when he came on the emergency visit he wasn't prepared to do a camera inspection because "the camera was broken and in California for repairs". So, in other words, he knew there were roots, but since he was not prepared to do the inspection, he lied to me about them.
My brother in law and I rented a router with a root cutter and pulled out a rag embedded with tree roots from the drain, after which the drain has been working fine.
We will be meeting 5 Star Plumbing in Small Claims Court after I file a formal complaint...and we we also be seeking damages for misrepresentation, questionable business practices, and as well, 5 hours of billable time.

5 Star solved a longstanding bathtub clog problem I've had for years and that other plumbers were not able to resolve. They have the right experience as well as the right tools. They were also fast, courteous and professional. I highly recommend them. The next time I need some plumbing work, they're the one (and only one)I plan to call.

I left 2 messages on their answering machine requesting for emergency service. When a customer service agent did call back, he replied I would be contacted by an experienced plumber within 20 minutes. No plumber ever called back, so I had to leave a 3rd message. This was 2 days ago and still no reply. Very frustrated to have to deal this way before any work even got started. They are a large network servicing Montreal, Laval, South and North Shores. I finally called an independent plumber who delivered the job within the promised timeline.
