I've been here many times which is why I know there has to be more to the police incident godess is lying about. The all you can eat is inexpensive and delicious and the staff was quick and friendly. I will be going again and again.

I believe that's the best sushi restaurant I have been to. The atmosphere & ambiance was comfortable when we walked in. The watress who serviced us was very nice and knowledgeable about the food in there, and I must sy that the food is very fresh and price is very resonable. We absolutely come back again.

Today my family and I have gone to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant has a great environment and I am very satisfied with the food. I highly recommend the rainbow roll and I enjoyed the Alaska rolls.

I LOVE the restaurant! The food and service are both great! I can eat and chat with my friends while listening to some music and in an easy going atmosphere! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Been to Go Believe a few times ..for me its convenient and the food is pretty good as well as the serving sizes. The variety for the "all you can eat" is very good as well (Dinner). The Al A Carte menu is also very good and I would recommend having a proper meal there rather than gorging yourself on the "all you can eat" I have to compare this restaurant with others I have been to here in Canada and It comes out a 3 star in my opinion... its not the best (service is a little to be desired and I echo what others have said about the servers), however its not the worst either .. there are several good and bad places in the Durham region. I have also been to Japan and Korea many times and I have to say that I cant compare any of the restaurants here with the ones I have been to there... Like any so-called specialized food they cater to the North American palate but sometimes you do find a diamond in the rough and this diamond is a little dull but can be cleaned up nicely.

My husband and I are both fans of Japanese food and we're extremely picky when it comes to this particular type of cuisine. In fact, we've both traveled all over Japan just trying out the different kinds of foods that they have to offer from the most expensive hotels such as the Imperial Hotel and Kyoto Royal Hotel, Rihga Royal Hotels, to Ryokans, food served on the Shinkansen, and even to the really cheap hole in the wall ramen and fried rice houses, and Oden stands. Heck, we've even tried the food served in the the maid and butler cafes in Akihabara.

So what does this connoisseur on Japanese food have to say? The food is good, I would rate it 8 out of 10 in terms of taste and satisfaction. Considering the location of Go Beleive Sushi, my husband and I were extremely surprised to have found such a jewel in the Durham region. The food is served hot and fast, and the price is extremely affordable, around 12 dollars for lunch, and 20 dollars for dinner. Since last year we've brought both friends and family from around Ontario, the States, and from Asia to the restaurant and they were all satisfied with the food. The place is immaculately clean, more than I can say for a few drive-in diners in the Durham region. In the six times that I have been to the restaurant I have never encountered the so-called "black hair in the food" that other people have mentioned.

The only criticism I can truly give on the restaurant is that I wish the staff to be even friendlier than they are now so that they can encourage repeat customers from the community, and perhaps in true Japanese style greet their clients with "Irrashai massen!" and a slight bow when they walk through the door; or if they are recognized repeat customers "okaerinasai okyak sama!"

I'm not even able to give a proper rate because of the horrible and disrespectful customer service I recieved when I ate at Go Believe Sushi restaurant in Whitby. I had ordered a variety of sushi rolls, and after sampling one piece of the first roll felt it tasted bad and really didn't like it. I had then called the waitress over and had brought it to her attention asking her to potentially substitute the roll for something different. She looked at me with a confused look on her face, and refused to replace my roll with something else even though I felt was unfit to eat. I just assumed she would just take it off the bill, seeing as that's the North American standard for customer service at any reputable restaurant. However, after I explained the scenario to the manager, he became argumentative and unreasonable even after I explained that I had no problem paying for everything except the one roll. He completely disregarded what I said, and proceeded by handing me an unaltered bill, which included the bad sushi roll. Obviously lol I wasn't going to pay for bad food, so I deducted the cost of the roll, paid for the remaining food, and left the restaurant. Little did I know I would be followed out to my car by two hostile restaurant employees, who proceeded to block me from getting into my car. After I finally managed to get in, they both sat on the back of my vehicle and wouldn't let me leave just to get my licence plates. Honestly civil people who run a business would have been more accomodating to their customers needs in the first place. So to wrap up this bizarre tale, I got a call from the police reassuring me first off that I wasn't in any kind of trouble whats over, and completely agreed with me on the matter. Seriously, if all you need is a license to open up a business, wouldn't it be wise to invest on a course learning how to run it with some common courtesy and respect for people?

Oh wow!!! This place is amazing!!! Some of the best sushi I have ever had, and its all you can eat. Teriyaki(chicken, shrimp and beef), sashimi, sushi rolls, tempura, and soooo much more! I have been twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The lunch price is SO cheap, and has tons of variety! Dinner was also delicious! Its a great selection, fast service, very clean dinning room and excellent staff!! I would recommend GO BELIEVE to anyone, and will definitely be returning... soon!
