Words cannot fully express how wonderful Larissa and Trevor were at capturing all the moments during our special day. Their differing styles compliment one another perfectly. Their attention to detail and reassuring nature helped calm our nerves throughout the whole day. I think the most nerve wracking part of finding photographers is not being able to go and pick up the pictures that are supposed to represent one of the most important days of your lives because you are left disappointed with the sneak peak that some photographers offer. Have no fear with this duo because they'll supersede all your expectations two-fold! We are so pleased with their work and the whole experience. It was thorough, compromising and one we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Call yourself lucky to have stumbled across such wonderful people if you have the pleasure of working with them! I'm so happy with the photos and the experience of having Larissa & Trevor shoot our wedding. The pictures were amazing! The thank you cards were beautiful and personalized. Trevor & Larissa made the very best of the colours, location and style of our wedding at the end of September to capture our day beautifully. From the moment we met them in spring we did not doubt they would deliver a professional, personal, artistically individual and stunning set of results. They helped us with an engagement shoot a few weeks before which delivered on its promise to help everyone relax and 'bond', and on the wedding day continued to discretely go about their work with diligence, care and respect for all the guests.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Trevor and Larissa! We were very lucky to have this talented duo photograph both our engagement and wedding. We booked them while they were away traveling last year based solely on their exceptional portfolio and the lovely reviews from other couples. Although our initial correspondence was only through email, it was very easy to tell that they were personal and professional. When we met, we knew instantly that we had made the perfect choice. My husband Jon and I recently got married last May, and it was our second time working alongside Trevor and Larissa. They also took our engagement session- and what breath taking pictures from both occasions.

Being a wedding coordinator in Southern California has given me the opportunity to work with many wonderful photographers. Larissa and Trevor are no exception to that. I was helping my sister-in-law plan her wedding back in Toronto, and searched high and low for a photographer for them who suited their style, but also my standards. When we came across the work of Larissa and Trevor, upon first impression, there was no question, we had to go with them. Not only does their work speak for itself, (with their modern perspective, amazing use of natural light, and ability to capture and encompass those "tender moments"), but they have an uncanny ability to be in multiple places simultaneously, working so incredibly fluidly and seamlessly together as a team. With hand signals or eye contact, they knew exactly what the other was doing, what lenses the other was shooting with, what angle -they were awesome. My husband and I shopped around forever trying to decide on photographers. We met with Trevor and Larissa to see what they had to offer, and were very impressed. As soon as I took one look at the thank you cards, I was sold. My husband was sold on their price range and flexibility. On the day of the wedding, they showed up on time, were almost invisible and yet managed to capture the best parts of the day. They were so great. I would highly recoend them to anyone who wants modern photography and great value.

We chose Ambient Studios after meeting with many photographers about our November 1, 2008 wedding day. Larissa and Trevor are truly a great team and were able to put me at ease about my wedding pictures - something I was very stressed about!
On our wedding day, they were extremely professional and I know that they had the entire day covered without missing a beat. The prints and enlargements are strikingly beautiful and something we will cherish forever. We have an album sitting on our coffee table and everyone who comes to visit opens the album and raves about how fantastic the pictures are! Each member of our wedding party, as well as our parents and grandparents, all have a photograph from Ambient Studios on display in their home that they are so pleased with!

Hello there!

Your wedding day is one of the most beautiful days in your life - the pictures that capture those moments will bring you back to that day for the rest of your life. You can imagine then how we felt when we received our photos and found that we had no pictures of me (the bride) in my dress, only 2 shots of my husband and I, and no pictures of extended family (grandparents, aunts & uncles). I was heart broken and was not able to look at our pictures for another 3 months.

Later on that year, a high school friend and I reconnected, and I was excited to find out that she (Larissa), had continued her passion of photography - her and her partner were starting up their own photography company and wanted to use me for a "Trash the Dress" photoshoot! What a great opportunity to get dressed up again, me in my dress, my husband in a suit, and take those pictures that we never had.

Ambient Studios - Larissa and Trevor - were amazing to work with. They truly REcaptured our love and feelings of our wedding day we had months before. They were directive when we asked, they were creative and spontaneous. The pictures are truly breath taking (and even better than the wedding day pictures we do have!).
