My fiance and I went for 'Getaway for Two' as a birthday treat. We were greeted and welcomed, offered a morning beverage and filled out a 'New Comer' form. Our package included a one hour massage, a one hour and fifteen minute facial, a fourty-five minute pedicure and a thirty minute manicure. The massage was good but it was not a full hour. As soon as we got to the facial part, this is when I realized that the workers did NOT know what they were doing. Having had many facials, I was appalled at the lack of effort and poor service. My facial was incomplete and half-assed. She didn't touch my chin, nor did she leave the steamer on for the correct amount of time. It was my fiance's first time, so he had nothing to compare. For the pedicure, the lady refused to cut & file my toe nails because she thought they were too long. She used a cuticle clipper to trim my toe nails. My feet did not soak for even 10 minutes and as soon as she put the cuticle softener on she was pushing the cuticles up. It hurt so bad. The nailpolish was applied sloppy and I could tell she was having a hard time applying the nailpolish. For the manicure, she pulled a few of the cuticles and it started to bleed. She sprayed alcohol all over my hands and it burned. Than for my fiance's manicure, the lady refused to cut his nails. Than when she filed it, it hadn't looked like anything was done and I could still see cuticles and hang nails. I was so upset and embarrassed because I took my fiance there for his birthday and it was supposed to be great! I would NEVER EVER go back there nor would I recommend anyone going there.
