This gym feeds off negativity. The atmosphere in the gym is always so intense because the staff has constant drama with one another. Sadly, often staff and members get too close and most members are aware of the pity party going on with their trainers, managers, and reception team. The general manager constantly fails to take appropriate action and will back of her staff when they are in wrong, yet neglect members when they have complaints due to poor costumer service. This club does not have proper trainers either, most of them have no goal in life and end up there taking their clients through pathetic workouts, or even go as far as texting and not showing up. I would recommend going to a goodlife, where you might just be a number in their system, but you get the service you need minus the drama!

I signed up with World Health Club for a two year contract. Never when signing up was I told that even after the contract was finished would they continue to charge me each month. My contract was supposed to expire on November 15, 2009, which I had called in October to confirm. When calling, I was never told that I would still be charged and had to actually come into the club and fill out a form 30 days prior to my last day. Imagine my surprise when I was charged for December after my contract had expired. As soon as I noticed the charge, I called the gym to discuss. I was told that I had to come in to fill out a form to cancel (the first I heard of such form). I made it in as soon as I could and when the appropriate manager was in. He told me that I could do nothing about December's charge, but PERHAPS he could have January's charge removed. Since it was closer than 30 days to January 1 (my charge date), they were going to charge me for January as well. I called the head office to see if she could help me. She said there was nothing she could do. I should have noticed the fine print on the contract that I had signed OVER TWO YEARS AGO! Needless to say, I was not impressed. Poor customer service. Please make sure that you take note of when you sign up with World Health, as they will not let you know about this paperwork that takes 30 days to process. Also, I would recommend Good Life Fitness.
