The Race of Your Life,
If you have never trained for anything, this is the thing to train for. The triumph of running a marathon is something that will you put in a category like no other. The Toronto Marathon is something to either take part in or Witness for yourself. The blood sweat and tears that goes into this event is something like no other. If you are not a runner the experience to go down and support the runners the best feeling in the world. Its a strange feeling to feel proud for complete strangers while giving them the motivation to go all the way.
The scene at the Toronto Marathon is one that captures you and stirs up your adrenaline even if you are not running. Set on October 19th, 2008, this events looks for volunteers, spectators, sponsors, live bands and of course runners. You can take part is some fashion, and experience is one to be apart of. There is also a half marathon and a 5k run for those folk just wanting to take part in a shorter course. No matter what race you run they make you feel that you have accomplished something.
The marathon begins at Mel Lastman Square and goes all through the city ending at Queens Park.
